”Gwah...”

Koraidon sighed helplessly in its heart.

The past me was so immature and annoying, I even refused to eat well because of such things, how foolish it was.

So thought a certain Pokemon that was once jealous of itself.

Thus, when Naoki pulled two fighting roosters from the river, he saw in the distance that Koraidon was saying something to Cyclizar.

Naoki’s heart stirred, and at this moment, a sudden realization came to him.

Could it be that his Little Cyclizar had become like that because of Koraidon?

At the beginning, he would invite both Pokemon to help, acting as his assistants.

But later, as the Pokemon on the ranch increased, Naoki exerted a lot of effort, and for convenience, most of the time, he rode Koraidon directly for travel, and inadvertently neglected Cyclizar.

Under such circumstances, Cyclizar might feel unneeded, useless, leading to low spirits and emotional knots.

Is it because of me?

Naoki silently started to reflect and made a decision in his heart: better late than never, he must spend more time with Cyclizar in the future.

Naoki called Flareon and asked it to use Heat Wave to dry the two fighting roosters.

Afterward, Naoki handed the two limp roosters to Pawmot’s parents, informing them that the roosters were fine.

However, to prevent these chickens from getting flu, Naoki had prepared medicine for them in advance.

When everything was done, he returned to Koraidon and Cyclizar, ready to spend an entire day with Cyclizar, helping it unwind.

Thinking of this, Naoki smiled as he approached the two Pokemon, asking, ”What are you talking about?”

Cyclizar instinctively looked at Koraidon.

Koraidon transformed into its goofy riding form, made a ”Gwah” sound, turned, and ran off, seemingly wanting to leave time for Cyclizar and Naoki.

Naoki noticed this scene and sensed an unusual vibe between the two Pokemon.

Watching Koraidon run off, Naoki investigated, ”What did Koraidon just say to you? It didn’t bully you, right?”

Upon hearing ”bully,” Cyclizar quickly shook its head: ”Gah-o!” Koraidon didn’t bully it!

Naoki had already guessed, seeing Cyclizar’s reaction, that it seemed Koraidon’s words had just opened Cyclizar’s heart.

Naoki smiled and asked, ”So what were you guys whispering about just now?”

Cyclizar thought of the promise it made with Koraidon and immediately closed its mouth, acting as if they hadn’t said anything.

”Let me guess, was Koraidon just comforting you?” Naoki asked.

Cyclizar widened its eyes: ”Gah-o?”

That expression seemed to ask how he knew.

Naoki smiled slightly, ”We’ve lived together for so long, how could I not know you guys?”

Cyclizar looked adorable, seemingly realizing it’s true...

And at that moment, it heard Naoki sigh.

Cyclizar immediately looked up.

Naoki reached out, stroked its head, and apologized seriously, ”I’m sorry, Cyclizar, it’s my fault for not noticing your feelings.”

”Gah-o...”

Hearing Naoki apologize, Cyclizar immediately looked teary-eyed like a wronged child.

”Did you feel sad because you thought you weren’t needed anymore, that you felt useless?” Naoki asked.

Cyclizar tearfully nodded: ”Gah-o!”

”No it’s not.” Naoki shook his head, saying seriously, ”I don’t need you to specifically do anything for me, or help me out. Just living together with you guys makes me very happy.”

”Gah-o...”

”You know, Cyclizar,” Naoki asked, ”for a Human Trainer, the first Pokemon is always very special. You are my first Pokemon here.”

He had long been accustomed to Cyclizar’s presence.

Just seeing it chasing butterflies in the flowers, sleeping peacefully by the warm fireplace, or clumsily helping harvest crops, Naoki felt very at ease.

If one day Cyclizar left and he couldn’t see it on the ranch, Naoki felt he would definitely be very sad.

Sometimes, Pokemon’s emotions are not as nuanced and intricate as humans’, so when expressing feelings to them, it’s best to do so in a straightforward manner to avoid misunderstandings.

Therefore, Naoki directly said to Cyclizar, ”You are very important to me. If one day you ran away and didn’t want to be my Pokemon, I would be very sad.”

”Gah-o...”

Cyclizar listened tearfully.

”Do you understand now?” Naoki asked.

”Gah-o!” Cyclizar nodded earnestly.

”Very good.” Naoki smiled, rubbing its head, and stood up, ”Now let’s go home! You haven’t eaten well for several days, let’s go, I’ll make you something special to eat.”

”Gah-o!”

Cyclizar quickly stood up and followed Naoki back to the house.

The man and Pokemon went into the kitchen, and Naoki, while opening the fridge to check the variety of ingredients inside, asked, ”Is there anything you want to eat?”

Cyclizar: ”Gah-o!”

Rotom Phone helped translate: ”[Hot noodle soup!]”

”Hot noodle soup?” Naoki was somewhat surprised. Wasn’t that the dish he had to make when he first arrived in this world, due to limited ingredients?
