Not Being a Trainer This Time

Back then I casually opened a random shop that sold MooMoo Milk, bought two cases on a whim, and right when I was about to pay, I suddenly noticed the only delivery option in their shop was Dragonite Delivery!

I was totally dumbfounded, thought I’d read it wrong, or maybe the shop owner had typed the name wrong. To figure out what was going on, I casually tapped into the message board, and there I saw tons of people leaving rave reviews.

I tried paying (even though the delivery fee was a bit pricier than Pelipper Express, getting to see a Dragonite makes it worth it!), and within just a few minutes, the app backend showed the milk had already shipped.

Less than ten minutes later, before I’d even wrapped my head around it, a Dragonite with a satchel on its back knocked on my front door.

Then that Dragonite hugged the two cases of milk out and set them down on my floor... hiss, you have no idea, that speed was just ridiculous!

Not even ten minutes from placing the order and the milk was already at my doorstep, and I also got to see a Dragonite you can hardly ever spot out in the wild with my own eyes!

Dragonite Delivery gets a huge thumbs-up! It’s just perfect for shut-ins like us! And honestly, the milk from that shop is really high quality; both I and my Mimikyu love it!]

Some people were skeptical about this poster’s thread.

[Dragonite Delivery? Isn’t this just an ad?]

In response, the OP simply told them to go verify it themselves.

Then someone else commented underneath:

[It’s really convenient, but I’m super curious what kind of person the shop owner is, to actually be able to use Dragonite for deliveries. And from what I’ve found out, they don’t just have one Dragonite.]

[Don’t tell me a Dragon Master family has started moving into the internet business?]

When the Dragon Elite Hassel of the Paldea Region saw this comment, he also thought it was the old folks in his family finally taking the initiative to get in touch with this newfangled thing called the internet.

But very soon, he realized something kind of embarrassing.

Their Dragon Master family didn’t have that many Dragonite.

Hassel: ”...”

He carefully scrolled through the whole thread, and only when he saw the OP’s reply to a certain netizen did he react.

That netizen asked what the shop was called.

The OP replied: [The shop’s called Naoki Ranch]

Hassel instantly saw the light. Oh, so it was that guy!

Then it’s fine.

The four big words [Dragonite Delivery] gradually shot up the trending list on the Pokemon Forum.

More and more people started noticing this.

At the same time, in the student dorms of Paldea Academy.

Arven, who had already started the new term, looked at the comments on the Pokemon Forum and felt everyone was making a fuss over nothing.

Naoki had only just opened the shop when he started buying from there.

Over a month ago, someone had posted about Dragonite Delivery on the campus forum.

Arven happened to see that post, casually searched it up, and discovered that it was Naoki’s shop.

Having been to Naoki Ranch before, Arven knew very well just how high the quality of the milk there was; it tasted great too.

So from that day on, he started ordering milk from there.

Not only did he drink it himself, Mabosstiff was also very fond of it.

Besides Arven, the Glaseado Gym Leader Grusha and the corporate drone Larry were also using it.

Grusha found out about it from Lono’s stream.

At the time, Lono was streaming her daily life with Bellibolt and the others; when she was drinking milk, she casually mentioned this to the viewers, saying she was really shocked that that shop actually used a Pokemon like Dragonite for delivery!

Grusha was really curious, so he clicked in and saw that it was Naoki’s shop.

And Larry also often buys things from Naoki’s shop. For someone who works as much as he does, time is money.

The time he saves can be used to rest better, then he can recharge and go complete whatever the top brass assigns him.

The delivery speed of Dragonite is dozens of times that of Pelipper.

With it, it can help him save a ton of time. Sometimes even when he’s traveling for work and shopping on the road, Dragonite can still deliver the milk to him with pinpoint accuracy; it’s just too convenient.

Although everyone often buys things from Naoki’s shop, none of them told Naoki about it.

Thanks to word of mouth, Dragonite Delivery gradually became somewhat well-known in the Paldea Region.

At first, people were purely attracted by the insane efficiency of Dragonite Delivery.

But soon after, someone noticed a specialty item in that shop called [Life Sheep Milk].

According to the description, that sheep milk can instantly heal a Pokemon’s injuries, and it can also have a huge effect on humans.

And it was sold in limited quantities, only 50 bottles per week!

People were intrigued by this milk.

Very soon, an enthusiastic netizen posted their purchase experience.

[That’s right! Everything in the description is true. I’m telling you, the effect of this Life Sheep Milk is super expensive, but it’s totally worth the price! No, I even think the owner is selling it too cheap!

Because Life Sheep Milk is just that incredible— even if a Pokemon is gravely injured and on the verge of death, as long as it drinks it, it can instantly recover its stamina. Awesome, right?

I ran into a very strong wild Pokemon while exploring in the wild, and it was thanks to this that I managed to escape.]

The second netizen continued to share.

[Hehe, let me tell you, this milk isn’t just for Pokemon; humans can use it too. After you drink a bottle, your body will have endless energy, if you know what I mean.jpg]

People who had never encountered anything like this were stunned by Life Sheep Milk’s effects.

There was actually something like this in the world!

Especially some people in the Johto Region.

Because if the description of that milk was true, then wouldn’t its effect be exactly the same as the Holy Object [Holy Ash] left behind by the Legendary Pokemon Ho-oh?

Holy Ash, a Holy Object said to have been born from the Legendary Pokemon Ho-oh.

It can resurrect the dead and regrow flesh from bones— as long as there’s still one breath left, the Holy Ash can save both Pokemon and humans.

Even in the Johto Region, there are only one or two remaining portions of Holy Ash, gifted to humans back when Ho-oh still trusted mankind and lived atop the Bell Tower.

Ordinary people can’t come into contact with it at all, because all of that Holy Ash is kept by a few ancient great clans, carefully preserved by those who worship Ho-oh.

And now...

That tiny shop had suddenly started selling, in bulk, a Holy Object with the same effect as Lord Ho-oh’s Holy Ash?

In that moment, Ho-oh’s followers all looked at each other, and an unbelievable guess surfaced in their minds.

The Pokemon producing that sheep milk, could it possibly be, just like their Lord Ho-oh, a Legendary Pokemon?

Oh Lord Ho-oh! What’s the deal with the owner of that little shop?

If their guess was true, then that person wasn’t respecting that great Legendary Pokemon at all, actually putting the Holy Object it produced up for sale online!

A Holy Object bestowed by a Legendary Pokemon should be treasured and enshrined, you know!

At the same time, the people of these ancient clans also felt an emotion called curiosity toward Life Sheep Milk.

They wanted to know how Life Sheep Milk’s effect compared to Holy Ash.

At that moment, countless netizens opened the Pokemon shopping app, searched for Naoki Ranch, wanting to check out Dragonite Delivery and Life Sheep Milk.

Some netizens wanted to buy a case of the milk to try, but only when they opened the detailed page did they realize the shop didn’t support cross-region delivery!

So more and more people started leaving messages on the shop’s message board, jointly petitioning the owner to enable cross-region delivery.

After Naoki finished reading the whole thread and all the messages on his ranch shop’s board on his Rotom Phone, he fell completely silent.

He understood why people were shocked by Life Sheep Milk’s effects, and he understood their curiosity, but why were some people using his family’s milk like some kind of little miracle pill, for crying out loud?

The Life Sheep Milk his family made is honest-to-goodness, proper milk!
