Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

However, just as everyone was trying to figure out how to get rid of the stench, the alpaca spirit suddenly broke free from its ropes and transformed into a huge magical beast. After transforming, she immediately picked up a large rock. Looking at Zhao Rong’s group, she declared, ”So you’ve discovered that I’m an alpaca who cultivated a human form… but it’s too late! I’m going to use the stones of this island to smash you all to death!” As she spoke, she heaved the massive rock at Zhao Rong.

Zhao Rong leaped lightly to the side, easily dodging the approaching boulder. In the same motion, he drew the Dinosaur Death Gun from his waist and fired a shot at the alpaca spirit. Hit by the blast, the alpaca went limp and collapsed onto a stone, dead.

When the assistant saw Zhao Rong kill the alpaca with a simple flick of his gun, he shot him a thumbs-up. ”Boss, that was so cool! You killed that alpaca without even aiming. Truly masterful!”

Zhao Rong smiled. ”Back in college, I used to secretly play CS in the computer lab. I was famous for my quick-scoping.”

Lili stepped forward, looking at Zhao Rong with admiration. ”Brother Zhao Rong, if you were playing CS back then, you must have been good at no-scoping too, not just quick-scoping, right?”

Zhao Rong boasted in front of the three beauties, ”When I played CS, I could take down ten enemies armed with heavy sniper rifles all by myself, using just a shotgun.”

Hearing how incredible Zhao Rong was at CS, the three beauties were filled with admiration. ”Brother Zhao Rong, we knew you were a kung fu expert, a man of high moral character, and a master flirt with the Eyes of Golden Flame... but today, we learned you’re also a master gamer!”

Just as the three beauties were fawning over Zhao Rong, the assistant interjected with a hint of jealousy, ”Boss, you just shot the skinny one dead. How are we supposed to find Deadly Island now?”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong simply opened his Magic Ring, pulled out the captive fatty, and tossed him onto the ground. ”Fatty,” Zhao Rong said, ”if you don’t want to die, you’ll take us to Deadly Island to find your bosses, Zhou Xiaoer and Hong Ju, right now.”

When the fatty saw that the motorcyclist and the skinny man had both been killed by Zhao Rong’s Dinosaur Death Gun, he scrambled onto the boat and started leading the group away from the shore.

Back on his private yacht, Zhao Rong continued their journey out to sea with Lili, the beautiful Yu Lan, the beautiful Xuelian, and the assistant. He was in high spirits. ”Ah, this is great! It feels wonderful to be sailing my yacht on the open sea again.”

Lili watched the seagulls soaring over the waves and said wistfully, ”The scenery out here is so beautiful. If only I could be a seagull…”

When the assistant heard her, he quickly fashioned a net, snatched a seagull out of the air, and presented it to her. ”Miss Lili, didn’t you just say you wanted a seagull? I caught one for you!”

While Zhao Rong is busy piloting the yacht, I have to make my move and win over the three beauties, the assistant thought. Who knows, maybe I’ll even start a beautiful romance with one of them on this trip.

His daydream, however, was cut short when he felt a sharp sting as Lili slapped him across the face.

The assistant clutched his reddening cheek and looked at Lili, feeling wronged. ”Miss Lili, weren’t you just admiring the seagulls? You said how beautiful they were and how you wanted to have one, so I caught one for you! You could at least thank me. Why did you slap me?”

Seeing that the assistant had not only captured a seagull but also injured its wing, Lili said furiously, ”I said I wanted to *become* a seagull, not *own* one! Are your ears stuffed with cotton?”

Dejected, the assistant walked away. He approached Yu Lan, who was sitting at the edge of the yacht with what looked like a fishing rod.

Judging by her technique, she’s not going to catch anything, the assistant snickered to himself. Why don’t I catch a fish for her and show off a little? Maybe Yu Lan will fall for me and invite me to her room tonight. With the yacht rocking, I could even make some romantic moves!

With that thought, the assistant dashed over, snatched the rod from Yu Lan’s hands, and cast the line into the sea. ”Yu Lan, your fishing technique is terrible! Let me help you,” he said. ”Maybe I can even catch a big shark for you to feast your eyes on!”

She’ll definitely be moved to tears by my taking the initiative to help her fish, the assistant thought, chuckling to himself.

However, before his chuckle could fade, a resounding SLAP landed on his other cheek. Yu Lan glared at him and yelled, ”Damn it, are you blind? Can’t you see I’m not fishing? I’m doing an underwater livestream!”

His eyes widened at the words ”underwater livestream,” a term he’d never heard before. ”What’s an underwater livestream? You call sitting on a yacht with a fishing rod an underwater livestream?”

Before he could finish, Yu Lan snatched her extra-long selfie stick back from him. ”Look closely, you idiot! This thing in my hand is not a fishing rod, it’s a super-long selfie stick!”

The assistant stared. The object in Yu Lan’s hand really wasn’t a fishing rod, but an incredibly long selfie stick. He was completely baffled.

He scratched the back of his head and apologized to Yu Lan. ”I’m so sorry, Yu Lan. I really thought you were fishing, so I rushed over and grabbed your… super-long selfie stick… to try and fish for you.”

Yu Lan retracted the long pole, reattached her waterproof phone, and glared at the assistant. ”Showing up to ’help’ uninvited means you’re either a conman or a thief. Now get lost.”

With that, the assistant slinked away in shame.
