Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Chapter 483: Chapter 444 Encounter with the Cannibal Tribe

Just as Zhao Rong and his companions feasted on roasted dinosaur meat, a cannibal tribe stealthily surrounded them, lying in wait.

The assistant ate the quickest and was soon full. With a full stomach, however, he suddenly felt a pressing need to relieve himself. ”Brother Zhao Rong,” he said, ”you guys keep enjoying the roasted dinosaur and coconut water. My stomach hurts, so I’m just going to step behind that tree for a moment...”

With that, the assistant headed toward a large tree in the distance.

Seeing him walk toward an isolated area, Zhao Rong offered a kind reminder, ”Hurry back after you’re done! And be careful while you’re at it. Pay attention to your surroundings. After all, this place is called Murder Island. It’s not an ordinary place, so remember to be vigilant...”

Although Zhao Rong warned him repeatedly, the assistant didn’t take his words to heart. He went behind the tree, immediately undid his pants, and squatted down.

It’s just a number two, a five-minute affair at most. Is it really as terrifying as Zhao Rong makes it out to be? Besides, this Murder Island doesn’t seem so scary. Since we landed, we’ve had coconut water, all sorts of fruit, roasted crab, whole lamb, alligator, suckling pig, and even roasted dinosaur...

But as the assistant was in the middle of his business, he suddenly felt a hand clamp over his mouth from behind. An arm wrapped around his neck, choking him. Then, he knew nothing more.

After dragging the assistant into the bushes, the cannibals immediately tied him up securely and stuffed a piece of wood in his mouth, gagging him to prevent any cries for help.

At this moment, one of the cannibals sought the opinion of their leader, ”Leader, should we take this man back now, roast him, and eat him?”

The cannibal leader kicked the tribesman behind him and cursed, ”You’re so short-sighted! Instead of eating just one person, why don’t we wait until we’ve captured all of them? Then we can take them back and roast them all together.”

Hearing this, all the cannibals gave their leader a thumbs-up. ”Leader, you truly have great foresight!”

After finishing a coconut, Zhao Rong noticed the assistant still hadn’t returned. He turned to Yu Lan beside him and said, ”Yu Lan, could you go check if that guy fell into a latrine or something? What’s taking him so long? He went to relieve himself fifteen minutes ago and he’s still not back.”

Yu Lan made a disgusted face. ”Don’t you know the assistant by now? He said he was taking a dump, but he’s probably just hiding behind a tree jerking off.”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong replied awkwardly, ”Even if he is jerking off, ten minutes should have been plenty of time, right? It shouldn’t take this long.”

Yu Lan gave a sly smile, pulling the assistant’s phone from her pocket. ”Brother Zhao Rong, when you guys jerk off, don’t you need your phones to help? I know the assistant’s phone must be full of videos, so I sneakily took it from his pocket. Without his phone, he can’t watch anything, so he probably can’t finish anytime soon.”

Listening to Yu Lan, Zhao Rong said helplessly, ”Alright then, let’s wait another twenty minutes. If the assistant still isn’t back by then, you go and check on him.”

Yu Lan sipped her coconut juice and nodded. ”It’s been fifteen minutes, plus another twenty... that’s thirty-five minutes in total. Even without his phone, he should have finished by now. Fine, after thirty-five minutes, I’ll go drag him out from behind that tree.”

Thirty-five minutes passed quickly. Yu Lan, extremely reluctant, stood up and headed for the trees, cursing under her breath.

This assistant is such a pervert! He can’t go anywhere without jerking off. Can’t he restrain himself for once?

As she walked, Yu Lan picked up a stick from the ground. ”Assistant,” she muttered to herself, ”you’d better pray I don’t catch you jerking off. If I do, I swear I’ll take this stick and fracture that thing of yours...”

With that, Yu Lan charged furiously behind the tree.

However, when she got there, she saw nothing but a pile of filth that nearly made her vomit. There was no sign of the assistant.

Where could he have gone? she wondered.

Just then, she felt someone rush up from behind her. A sharp blow landed on the back of her head. Yu Lan’s eyes closed, and she passed out, knowing nothing more.

At this point, Zhao Rong, having eaten and drunk his fill, glanced over and realized that both the assistant and Yu Lan were gone. He stood up, concerned, and said to Xue Lianmei beside him, ”The assistant said he was going to the toilet and never came back. I sent Yu Lan to find him, but now she hasn’t come back either. Could they have been captured by some kind of monster?”

With that, Zhao Rong and Xue Lianmei walked toward the trees in the back. When they arrived, they still couldn’t find any trace of the assistant or Yu Lan.

Zhao Rong asked Xue Lianmei to wait for him while he went to check behind another large tree up ahead.

However, after making a full circle and finding no one, Zhao Rong returned to where he had left Xue Lianmei. He was shocked to discover that she, too, had vanished.

Realizing something was terribly wrong, Zhao Rong immediately rushed back to the campfire. When he saw Ms. Lili still sleeping there, he breathed a sigh of relief.

He quickly woke her up. ”Ms. Lili, wake up! This is bad! The assistant, Yu Lan, and Xue Lianmei have all suddenly disappeared!”

When Ms. Lili heard that people had disappeared, she jerked upright and stared at Zhao Rong. ”Brother Zhao Rong, has this so-called Murder Island really started its killing spree?”

Zhao Rong told her not to be afraid. ”Ms. Lili, don’t worry. Maybe they just wandered off to play somewhere.”

After saying this, he took Ms. Lili’s hand. ”We have to leave this place now. We need to find the assistant, Xue Lianmei, and Yu Lan.”

Ms. Lili nodded and followed Zhao Rong as they headed toward the nearby forest.

However, they hadn’t gone far when dozens of cannibals suddenly appeared in front of them.
