Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

But just as the four men were drinking champagne and celebrating their victory, the fat one standing on the far right was suddenly felled by a brick. When the skinny man saw his partner hit the ground, he immediately snatched an AK-47 rifle and bellowed, ”Which one of you has a death wish? Who hit my brother with a brick? Show yourself!”

Before he could finish speaking, however, he felt a large stone hurtling toward him. In an instant, his vision went dark. The stone struck him squarely, and he collapsed to the ground, unconscious.

When the short man saw someone had taken out his two brothers with just bricks and stones, he immediately pulled a large machete from his waist. Brandishing it in the air, he yelled, ”If you’ve got the guts, come out and duel me! Stop hiding in the shadows throwing bricks and stones!”

His words were cut short when he felt a heavy blow to the back of his head. A wave of dizziness washed over the short man, and his body went limp.

When their boss, the motorcycle man, saw the skinny, fat, and short men all knocked out by a hidden assailant using the most primitive of weapons, he spun around in terror. Pulling two revolvers from his motorcycle, he began firing wildly. ”Who is it? Who’s causing trouble on the film set we built? Come out! Don’t make me catch you, or our boss will definitely send an assassin to finish you off!”

But before he could finish his threat, he felt a large net thrown over him. In a flash, he was ensnared, bound, and thrown to the ground. The revolvers in his hands clattered onto the dirt nearby.

At that moment, Zhao Rong, his assistant, Miss Lili, Lady Yu Lan, and Lady Xuelian stepped out from the shadows.

When the motorcycle man saw the four of them, he was so terrified he pissed his pants. ”Damn it,” he stammered in disbelief. ”We just finished shooting a horror film here two days ago called ’Dead Souls’… I didn’t think the place would actually get haunted! You ghosts, scram! Or I’ll call a Taoist to exorcise you!”

Hearing the man call them ghosts, Zhao Rong immediately picked up a brick. He charged forward, slammed it into the man’s face twice, and snarled, ”Damn it, I’m obviously alive, and you’re calling me a ghost? Here, feel the warmth of a living person!” With that, Zhao Rong turned to his assistant. ”Piss on this guy. Let him feel your body heat.”

The assistant obliged, urinating on the captured man. Humiliated by Zhao Rong and his group, the motorcycle man finally realized that the four people before him were not dead.

His eyes widened in shock. Staring at them, he exclaimed, ”Weren’t the four of you in the thatched hut? Logically, our firepower should have killed you in there! How did you get out alive? This is completely illogical!”

The assistant stepped forward and kicked the man. ”This film set you built is so shoddy. Did you really think you could deceive my big brother Zhao Rong with this junk? You must be dreaming.”

Hearing this, realization dawned on the motorcycle man. His face went pale with fear. Looking at Zhao Rong, he trembled. ”Boss… you mean you already figured out the trap we set?”

Miss Lili stepped forward, pointed at the man’s nose, and laughed. ”If you’re going to hire people to play Somali pirates, you should have gone to Africa and found some starving refugees. Why go to America to find overweight guys to play the part? It’s not the least bit convincing, is it?”

At a loss for words, the motorcycle man mumbled, ”They… they weren’t from America. We found them nearby in Guangzhou’s Sanyuanli district. They were just extras… But I never imagined you’d see through the disguise.”

Next, Lady Yu Lan stepped up and mocked him. ”And if you’re hiring extras to play primitive cannibals, you should have at least found some dedicated professionals. Why go to Hengdian for such unprofessional actors? Our Brother Zhao saw through them at a single glance.”

Hearing this, the motorcycle man slapped his own face in frustration. ”Nationwide, the extras from Hengdian are the cheapest and easiest to find. To save on travel costs, I just hired some online. I never thought they’d be so unprofessional that you’d spot them right away.”

Finally, Lady Xuelian stepped forward. She threw the used condom Zhao Rong had found in the hut onto the man’s face and cursed, ”If you’re going to deceive us by creating a fake Cretaceous period, the least you could do is clean the set! But you let your workers fool around inside the hut and even leave behind a used condom?”

When the motorcycle man saw the condom, he hung his head in shame. He knelt on the ground and begged Zhao Rong’s group for forgiveness. ”Boss, I was wrong! I completely underestimated your intelligence! Please, just let me go!”

Zhao Rong looked down at him. ”Tell us who the mastermind is, and we’ll let you go right now.”

Fearing for his life, the man immediately blurted out, ”Sirs, ladies, I’ll tell you who’s behind this right now! The person who built this film set is one of Xijing City’s wealthiest tycoons, Hong Ju, along with his son, Zhou Xiaoer. They lured you here to kill you.”

Hearing the names Hong Ju and Zhou Xiaoer, the assistant stepped forward. ”Weren’t Hong Ju and Zhou Xiaoer already taken care of by our Brother Zhao Rong? How can they still be alive?”

The motorcycle man quickly explained, ”Sirs, ladies, there’s something you don’t know. Hong Ju and Zhou Xiaoer have a particular fondness for cloning themselves. The ones you killed were merely their clones. The real Hong Ju and Zhou Xiaoer are on Deadly Island, living in luxury.”

When Zhao Rong heard that the men they had killed were just copies and not the real people, he was stunned, and a cold sweat beaded on his forehead.

He gritted his teeth and stared down at the motorcycle man. ”Take us to Deadly Island to find Zhou Xiaoer and Hong Ju right now. Otherwise, we’ll kill you where you kneel.”
