Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Chapter 476: Chapter 437: Flounder Deep Water Bomb

Xuelian took a fishing rod from her backpack, hung a flatfish on the hook, and prepared to cast it into the sea. ”Brother Zhao Rong,” she said, ”I think these fish you bought are fine for fishing, but using them against Somali pirates? That’s like throwing an egg against a stone. It’s completely unrealistic.”

However, just as the assistant and the three women were expressing their disbelief, Zhao Rong tossed all five flatfish into the sea. ”Ladies, Assistant, watch closely,” he said. ”These flatfish are about to star in a thrilling Hollywood blockbuster.”

As soon as the five flatfish hit the water, they immediately split up, each swimming toward one of the five speedboats.

Meanwhile, aboard the speedboats, the Somali pirates had seen their first boarding party get swept off the yacht by Zhao Rong’s group wielding brooms. Standing on their decks, they brandished their AK-47 assault rifles and rocket launchers, shouting arrogantly, ”You Chinese, you better surrender! You may have defeated our first wave, but we still have a second and a third! If you don’t surrender now, our AK-47s and rocket launchers will sink your private yacht! Don’t get arrogant just because you have some electric brooms! We Somali pirates are no pushovers. Now, we’ll show you what we’re really made of!”

With that, the pirates raised their weapons, preparing to fire on Zhao Rong’s yacht.

But just as they pulled their triggers, it was already too late. The five flatfish depth charges Zhao Rong had thrown into the sea had already reached the speedboats. Since the flatfish also possessed artificial intelligence, Zhao Rong controlled them with a simple voice command.

”Alright, flatfish depth charges,” he said, ”you can detonate now.”

Before the words were even fully out of his mouth, the five flatfish depth charges exploded. In that instant, the five pirate speedboats were blasted into smithereens. The pirates standing on them were obliterated, vanishing without a trace.

When the three women and the assistant saw the immense power of the five tiny flatfish Zhao Rong had bought from the Paradise Shopping Cart, they stared at him with newfound respect.

Lili looked at the splashes on the ocean’s surface and gave Zhao Rong a thumbs-up. ”Brother Zhao Rong, you’re absolutely incredible! You wiped out those strong, arrogant, and terrifying Somali pirates with just a few live fish!”

Yu Lan also looked at him with admiration. ”Brother Zhao Rong, you’re always so unpredictable and invincible in a fight. It leaves me speechless. First, you used a broom to sweep the pirates into the sea to feed the fish. Now, you’ve blown up their speedboats with a few small fish. You just staged a Hollywood sci-fi movie!”

Xuelian felt her horizons had been broadened. ”Brother Zhao Rong, as long as you’re with us, we’ll never have to worry about pirates when we’re at sea.”

After the women finished speaking, the assistant walked over. However, compared to their excitement, he looked rather dejected. ”Brother Zhao Rong, those flatfish just blew up like bombs. What are we going to do for our fish soup at noon?”

Before he could finish his sentence, the surface of the sea began to fill with all kinds of floating fish, shellfish, and other seafood.

When the three women saw the bounty of delicious seafood, they stared at Zhao Rong in amazement. ”Brother Zhao Rong, did you buy another Divine Artifact from the Paradise Shopping Cart? Is that how we got all this seafood?”

Zhao Rong shook his head and explained, ”No, I didn’t buy any new gadget for making food. All this seafood floated up from the seabed because the explosions from the depth charges blasted these deep-sea delicacies to the surface.”

Hearing this, the three women understood immediately.

Seeing all the delicious seafood floating on the water, the assistant immediately grabbed a large net and cast it into the sea. He scooped up all the seafood, licking his lips with excitement. ”Holy crap! It looks like we’ll be feasting on delicious seafood for every meal for the next few weeks!”

With that, the group began to prepare a banquet. The assistant picked out a few king crabs to make a dish of fried king crab. Lili found several highly nutritious flatfish, scooped out the roe, and made caviar to eat with bread. Yu Lan cooked a large pot of lobsters for a grand lobster feast. Xuelian, who loved octopus the most, took some of the top-grade octopus from the sea and made octopus sushi, relishing every bite.

While the assistant and the women enjoyed their seafood banquet, Zhao Rong sorted through the shells. He opened them one by one, retrieving a variety of brilliant, priceless pearls from within. After taking out the pearls, he immediately opened WeChat on his phone to scan and appraise their value.

The scan revealed that the pearl from the first shell was worth 10,000 RMB.

The pearl from the second was worth one million RMB.

The pearl from the third was worth ten million RMB.

And the pearl from the fourth shell was valued at an astonishing one hundred million RMB.

Zhao Rong couldn’t help but wipe the cold sweat from his forehead as he stored the pearls in his Magic Ring. Holy crap, I didn’t plan on making any money on this sea voyage. But to just accidentally stumble upon so many priceless pearls and make so much... making money is just too easy.

Just as the women and the assistant were feasting on their delicious meal and Zhao Rong was appraising his pearls, they all spotted a small island in the distance with smoke rising from it.

The assistant and the three women immediately put down their food, stood up, and stared intently at the smoking island. At the same time, Zhao Rong took out his phone, activated the GPRS and Beidou dual positioning systems, and began to triangulate the location of the mysterious and somewhat eerie island.

However, after the position was fixed, beads of terrified, cold sweat broke out on his forehead.
