Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Chapter 472: Chapter 433: Braving Deadly Island

Hearing this, Zhao Rong gasped and wiped the sweat from his forehead. ”Could Deadly Island really be that ominous?” he asked the CEO.

Wang Xiaopeng stepped forward to give Zhao Rong a detailed explanation. ”Young man, you don’t understand. Deadly Island is called Deadly Island precisely because it’s incredibly dangerous. Not only is the island haunted, but it also harbors various fierce beasts and even some extraterrestrial monsters. It’s all quite unbelievable...”

When Zhao Rong heard how extraordinary Deadly Island was, his curiosity began to outweigh his concern for his own safety. He was driven by a desire to see the island for himself, so he immediately signed the contract with the CEO.

”Even though Deadly Island is extremely dangerous,” Zhao Rong declared, ”I still want to go see it. This time, I intend to uncover its secrets.” With that, he and his assistant prepared to set off.

However, as Zhao Rong and his assistant walked out of the warehouse, the four beautiful women suddenly rushed after them.

Miss Lili hurried forward eagerly. ”Brother Zhao Rong, I’ve decided to follow you for the rest of my life! Wherever you go, I’m going with you!”

Yu Lan looked at him, her expression even more resolute. ”Brother Zhao Rong, Deadly Island is a very dangerous place. I’m worried that if you go alone, you might not come back. I have to go with you.”

Xuelian then took a can of pepper spray from her pocket and held it high in the air. ”Brother Zhao Rong, my martial arts skills may not be great, but I’m an absolute expert with pepper spray! As long as you let me come with you, I can protect you with this!”

Seeing the three women all stepping forward, eager to join Zhao Rong’s brave venture to Deadly Island, Wang Guihua refused to be left out. She stepped up, took off one of her high heels, and held it out for Zhao Rong to see.

”Brother Zhao Rong, if Xuelian can protect you with a can of pepper spray, then I can protect you with this high heel,” she said. ”Please, just let me go with you to Deadly Island!”

Staring at the high heel in Wang Guihua’s hand, Zhao Rong scratched the back of his head in confusion. ”Wang Guihua, are your high heels some kind of secret weapon?”

With a mysterious smile, Wang Guihua aimed the high heel at a nearby wall and pulled the trigger. ”Brother Zhao Rong, to tell you the truth, this isn’t just a high heel—it’s a rifle.” As she finished speaking, she pulled the trigger again, shattering a solid brick on the wall.

Although Zhao Rong didn’t want the women to join him on such a dangerous adventure, they were determined to go with him, no matter what he said. Left with no other choice, Zhao Rong finally relented.

”Alright,” he said. ”Since you three, Lili, Yu Lan, and Xuelian, can’t bear to let me go alone, you can come with me.”

When Wang Guihua heard Zhao Rong agree to let the other three accompany him, but not her, her eyes filled with sorrow. ”Brother Zhao Rong, don’t you love me? Why would you let them go with you to Deadly Island but leave me behind?”

Seeing that she had misunderstood, Zhao Rong stepped forward and pulled her into an embrace, consoling her. ”Wang Guihua, you don’t know. I’m now the principal and legal representative of the Women’s University. If we both leave, who will manage it? So, I’ve decided that you should stay behind. Don’t take this risk. Just stay safe and secure at the university and manage it for me. How does that sound?”

Hearing the earnest thought behind his words, Wang Guihua, though reluctant, understood his reasoning. ”Brother Zhao Rong, since that’s the case, I’ll stay and run the university for you. Then you, your assistant, Lili, Yu Lan, and Xuelian can go to Deadly Island. But you must all be careful, and you have to come back alive. Because here at the university, there will still be a Wang Guihua waiting for you.”

With that, she and Zhao Rong shared a kiss.

When the three women standing a short distance away saw them kissing, they immediately rushed over and pulled the two apart. ”Could you two please mind your image? Don’t you see the three of us are still here? If you keep kissing, then we’ll have to take turns kissing Zhao Rong too!”

When Wang Guihua heard that the three women were actually planning to follow her example, she immediately broke the kiss. Wiping her lips, she said to the three of them, ”Fine, I’m going back to the Women’s University now. You all go to Deadly Island with Brother Zhao Rong. Remember, you must protect him and make sure nothing happens to him.”

Saying this, Wang Guihua wiped away a tear, called a taxi with her phone, and left for the university.

After Wang Guihua was gone, Zhao Rong took his assistant, Lili, Yu Lan, and Xuelian, and they drove a Ferrari to the pier where their private yacht was docked. When they arrived, they immediately hopped aboard.

Looking out at the vast ocean before him, Zhao Rong felt his spirits lift. The three women sat on the yacht, admiring the seascape. ”Venturing to Deadly Island on a private yacht... this is truly a romantic and poetic affair.”

However, just as everyone was ready to depart, Zhao Rong discovered a critical problem. He stood in the cockpit, completely at a loss. He had no idea how to start the yacht, let alone how to pilot it on a long voyage. Seeing his dazed expression, the three women seemed to realize that he didn’t know how to operate it.

Seizing the opportunity, the assistant stepped forward to mock him. ”Brother Zhao Rong, so you can’t pilot a yacht after all. And here I thought you could do anything!” He then cast a sly glance at the beautiful women nearby.

If Brother Zhao Rong can’t pilot a yacht, won’t he make a fool of himself in front of them? As long as he’s embarrassed, then I, his assistant, can finally hold my head high!

But just as the assistant was getting smug, Zhao Rong suddenly began operating the private yacht as if he were an old sea captain. Relying on its dual GPS and Beidou satellite navigation systems, he expertly steered it toward Deadly Island. When the three women saw that Zhao Rong could actually pilot the yacht, they were utterly astonished.

Just then, Zhao Rong laughed heartily and said to everyone, ”Actually, I don’t know how to pilot a yacht at all. But I just took out my phone, opened the Paradise Shopping Cart app, and bought a miraculous little item. Now, I know exactly what to do!”

When the three women and the assistant heard what Zhao Rong had bought from the Paradise Shopping Cart, they were so astonished they collapsed onto the deck.
