Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

When Zhao Rong took off his shirt, his assistant followed suit. Upon seeing Zhao Rong and his assistant expose their bare skin, the three stunningly beautiful women holding the nerve agent were at a loss.

The woman in the leopard print looked at the woman in the leather jacket and asked, ”Boss, what do we do now?”

After thinking for a moment, the leather-clad woman replied, ”Give me the nerve agent. I’ll do it.”

With the small vial of nerve agent in hand, she approached Zhao Rong, who had taken off his short-sleeved shirt. He seemed completely unguarded as she drew near. Once she was close enough, she tipped the vial and let a single drop of the nerve agent fall onto his back.

With her mission accomplished, the leather-clad woman turned and excitedly walked over to her partners. As she approached, she flashed an ”OK” gesture to the leopard-print and bikini-clad beauties. ”Mission accomplished,” she said. ”I perfectly dripped the nerve agent onto Zhao Rong’s skin.”

Hearing this, the leopard-print beauty clenched her fists in excitement. ”As long as the nerve agent touches his skin, it doesn’t matter how strong his Inner Strength is or how fit he is. He’ll suffer respiratory failure within a minute and die from cardiac arrest.”

The bikini-clad beauty even took out her phone, ready to livestream his demise. ”I’m going to record Zhao Rong’s fall in a ten-second video and upload it to TikTok.”

However, after ten minutes, Zhao Rong was still full of life, fanning himself and sweating profusely in front of them. When the three women saw that he was showing no reaction at all to the nerve agent, their eyes widened in disbelief.

The woman in the leather jacket walked over to him and asked with feigned concern, ”Zhao Rong, are you feeling alright? Your breathing is smooth and your heart is beating strongly?”

Feeling completely bewildered, Zhao Rong replied, ”I’ve been in great shape lately, with a healthy appetite. Why would I have breathing difficulties or heart trouble?”

Hearing this, the leather-clad woman walked back to the other two. In a voice filled with disbelief, she said, ”Could the nerve agent the Deputy Master of the Wild Wolf Sect gave us be defective or expired? Why else would there be no reaction when we put it on his exposed skin?”

Just as the three women were marveling at how Zhao Rong could be unaffected by the world’s deadliest poison, he peeled off a skin-tight garment that had been flush against his skin.

”Sorry to disappoint you three gorgeous ladies,” he said. ”My skin has been a little sensitive the last couple of days, so I bought this garment online that’s meant to help with skin allergies. I never expected this lucky break would allow me to foil your little nerve agent trick without even trying.”

When the three women heard that Zhao Rong had been wearing a garment that was flush against his skin, they were left utterly dumbfounded.

The leopard-print beauty immediately questioned him, ”Zhao Rong, did you already know we were going to harm you? Were you prepared for this?”

Zhao Rong shook his head. ”When you invited me, I just felt something was off. To be honest, I wasn’t prepared at all. I only came to find out why you wanted to meet me.”

Unconvinced, the woman in the leather jacket retorted, ”If you weren’t prepared, then why did you bring your assistant? And why are you carrying a weapon like the Triangular Military Spike? Not to mention that layer of clothing you were wearing, invisible to the naked eye. Everything you’ve done has disrupted our plan and interfered with our attempt to poison you.”

Listening to their unwitting confession, Zhao Rong had a sudden realization. ”So, the reason you three beauties invited me to this hotel was to poison me? I knew it. There’s no such thing as a free lunch in this world.”

With that, he warned them, ”Since you three are the bad guys, you’d better surrender now and tell me who’s pulling the strings. Otherwise, don’t blame me for what happens next.”

Hearing his warning, the three women dropped their pretense. They retrieved long knives from a closet and declared, ”Let’s be honest with you, Zhao Rong. We’re not students. We’re female assassins.”

Standing beside Zhao Rong, the assistant couldn’t help but regret his decision upon hearing that he had followed his boss into a hotel room with three assassins. ”Brother Zhao Rong, you snuck out in the middle of the night just to meet female assassins?” he lamented. ”If I’d known you weren’t going out to pick up girls, I never would have tracked you, let alone followed you into a tiger’s den!”

Seeing the fear of death written all over his assistant’s face, Zhao Rong said, ”If you’re afraid of these three, you can leave now.”

The assistant retreated to the doorway and asked, ”Brother Zhao, if I leave, how are you going to deal with them?”

Zhao Rong pulled his smartphone from his pocket. ”I’ve been pretty tired lately, and I don’t feel like fighting these three. As for how I’ll catch them, you’ll see in a moment.” He then opened the Paradise Shopping Cart app and typed ”Heavenly Net” into the search bar.

Watching him, the assistant asked in confusion, ”Brother Zhao Rong, to deal with these three assassins, why are you buying a Heavenly Net from the Paradise Shopping Cart instead of a Thompson submachine gun to mow them down? Are you really planning to catch them with a net?”

Zhao Rong chuckled. ”Assistant, you don’t understand. For these three beautiful assassins, this Heavenly Net is the perfect tool—convenient, efficient, and incredibly effective.”

Across the room, the three assassins saw Zhao Rong shopping online at such a critical moment, looking for a ”Heavenly Net” to catch them, and they burst into laughter.

”Idiot! You’re about to be sent to the Western Heaven by us, and you’re still obsessed with online shopping? You’re more obsessed than any woman!”

”Even if you did buy some amazing weapon, the delivery guy, no matter how fast he is, couldn’t possibly get it to you right now!”

”I think this guy must have water on the brain. Thinking he can buy a weapon online to eliminate us? What a pipe dream!”

But just as the three women were scoffing at him, Zhao Rong clicked ”Purchase.” The instant he bought the Heavenly Net, the package was dispatched via the delivery cannon. However, because the packaging wasn’t sturdy enough, it came unglued as it was fired. As the package flew through the air, it sailed through the open hotel window and burst open.

As luck would have it, the unfurling Heavenly Net landed perfectly, ensnaring all three female assassins.

Seeing his online purchase capture the three so quickly, Zhao Rong boasted to his assistant, ”See? I told you the Heavenly Net was more useful than a Thompson submachine gun, but you didn’t believe me.”

Trapped under the large net, the three women started laughing. The beauty in leopard print mocked him for using such a primitive weapon. ”Zhao Rong, are you a relic from a past era? Thinking you can catch three master assassins with a shabby net? Don’t you know we carry daggers? We can easily cut this thing to shreds.”

As she spoke, the woman in the leather jacket pulled a dagger from her waist and began sawing at the white mesh. But no matter how much force she used or how sharp her blade was, she couldn’t cut through the net Zhao Rong had bought.

While she struggled, the leopard-print beauty continued to jeer. ”You think this pathetic net can hold me? Even if we don’t cut it, we can just lift it up and walk right out.”

But when the same woman reached out to lift the net, she was shocked. The net was just like a spider’s web, coated in a sticky substance that glued her hands and body in place, immobilizing her.

At this point, the woman in the bikini stepped forward. A wild idea struck her, and she said to Zhao Rong, ”Even if this net you bought online is some kind of high-tech product, you still can’t hold us. We have a size-reduction device!”

Saying that, she took out the device and quickly operated it, shrinking her body until she was smaller than the holes in the net. But as she tried to slip through one of the gaps, she was stunned to find that the net was shrinking along with her, its mesh becoming denser. No matter how tiny she became, she couldn’t pass through the openings.

Seeing how miraculous the net was, the assistant couldn’t help but give Zhao Rong a thumbs-up. ”Brother Zhao Rong, I finally understand what you meant earlier. That net you bought from the Paradise Shopping Cart really is more effective than a Thompson submachine gun!”
