Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

As Zhao Rong and his assistant approached the room’s door, they couldn’t help but exchange smiles, both thinking the same thing: This place is really nice. Truly custom-tailored. Even the door has a unique flair. Once inside, there must be a series of small, private booths.

However, when they walked into the ”custom-tailored” room, they were instantly stunned. Although the door was small, it opened into a vast hall.

Zhao Rong looked around and couldn’t help but wonder, With such a large hall, how are we supposed to receive services in here?

His assistant also broke out in a cold sweat. Isn’t it a bit crowded in this hall? How are we supposed to relax and let loose?

Just as Zhao Rong and his assistant were feeling puzzled, two tall, burly men wrapped in bath towels walked toward them, talking and laughing. The assistant stepped back, looked at Zhao Rong, and whispered, ”Brother Zhao Rong, this is bad! The Chairman and Wang Xiaopeng are heading this way…”

When Zhao Rong heard ”the Chairman,” he quickly looked in the direction his assistant was pointing. Sure enough, the two approaching men were indeed the Chairman and the tycoon Wang Xiaopeng. Zhao Rong was utterly dumbfounded. He looked at his assistant and said, ”What in the world? You can’t be serious. What are the odds of running into the Chairman and Wang Xiaopeng in a private room at the Red Romantic Bath Center?”

The assistant scratched the back of his head, feeling incredibly awkward. ”I imagined we might run into the Chairman and Wang Xiaopeng after completing the mission… maybe at the company, a cafe, a bar, or even a public square. But I never, in my wildest dreams, thought we’d bump into them at a bathhouse…”

Watching the Chairman and Wang Xiaopeng walk toward him, Zhao Rong spoke nervously to his assistant, ”What do we do? Should we get out of here right now?”

The assistant nodded, turning to open the door. ”Brother, let’s get out of this bathhouse, quick! If the Chairman and Wang Xiaopeng find out we came here to mess around after finishing our mission, all the credit we earned could be wiped out by this one mistake…”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong nodded and hurriedly worked with his assistant to open the door, preparing to leave. As they did, they thought to themselves, Thank goodness we’re sharp and reacted quickly. We spotted the Chairman and Wang Xiaopeng right away and made a run for it… Luckily, they didn’t see us. The consequences would have been unimaginable…

But just as they were silently congratulating themselves, the door to the private room was suddenly pushed open by another attendant. The young man, leading two beautiful women, said to Zhao Rong and his assistant, ”Sirs, didn’t you specifically request these two ladies? I’ve brought them to you…”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong and his assistant were mortified.

Just as they were about to refuse the attendant’s offer and flee, the Chairman, standing not far away, saw the two women and his eyes lit up. ”My god,” he exclaimed in amazement. ”I’ve been a patron of this Red Romantic Bath Center for ten years, but I have never seen such devastatingly beautiful women!”

Wang Xiaopeng also rubbed his eyes, his hands reaching out as if grasping for something. ”Good heavens! I never knew this bathhouse was hiding such treasures! Women whose beauty would put even the legendary Yang Guifei to shame…”

Saying this, the Chairman and Wang Xiaopeng rushed over as fast as they could.

When the attendant saw the two magnates approaching, he quickly pointed at Zhao Rong and his assistant and tried to explain, ”My apologies, bosses, but these two ladies have already been requested by these two gentlemen…”

Hearing that someone had beaten him to it, the Chairman turned to Zhao Rong and his assistant with a look of disbelief. ”I refuse to believe that anyone in Xijing City, aside from Wang Xiaopeng here, is wealthier than me!”

Wang Xiaopeng, his eyes glued to the two women, said to Zhao Rong and his assistant, ”You two youngsters dare to compete with us two tycoons for beautiful women? You’re clearly overestimating yourselves.”

When Zhao Rong and his assistant saw the Chairman and Wang Xiaopeng walk right up to them, they were so frightened they bowed their heads, not daring to make eye contact. But as they tried to slip past with their heads down, the Chairman suddenly stepped forward and lifted Zhao Rong’s chin.

”Young man, I’m telling you to give these two ladies to us. Did you hear me?”

But before the Chairman could finish his sentence, his eyes widened in utter shock. ”No way! Zhao Rong? Is that you?”

Seeing that Zhao Rong had been discovered, the assistant, who had been hiding behind him, stepped out as well. He said, shyly and awkwardly, ”Chairman… me too. I’m the assistant…”

At this, the Chairman’s embarrassment and nervousness suddenly surpassed that of Zhao Rong and his assistant. He coughed twice, then deliberately raised his voice and declared, ”As the chairman of Hongda Company, I’ve been a bit tired from work lately, so I came to the bathhouse to relax… I can assure you, I have done nothing improper besides taking a bath!”

Hearing the Chairman’s transparent excuse, Zhao Rong realized he needed an out as well. ”Chairman, please don’t misunderstand. My assistant and I only came to the Red Romantic Bath Center because we happened to find a VIP gold card on the ground near the entrance. Out of curiosity, we came in to take a bath and have a look around. We had no idea this place was so huge! We got lost wandering around and accidentally ended up in this private room, where we coincidentally ran into these two… stunningly beautiful women.”

The Chairman burst out laughing, seizing the opportunity to save face. ”So, it turns out we’re all good people here! It was all just a simple misunderstanding!” With that, he turned to the attendant. ”Who said I was competing with these young men for these women? I merely saw that these two girls were pretty and thought I’d ask them to pour me a cup of coffee. I had no other intentions, I assure you.”

Zhao Rong eagerly played along. ”And you, young man,” he said to the attendant, ”don’t you go spreading rumors. Who said my assistant and I specially requested these two beauties? The truth is, we accidentally bumped into them in the stairwell earlier. We wanted to apologize, but they left too quickly and we couldn’t find them. That’s why we asked you to bring them here, so we could offer our apologies. That’s all! Please don’t get the wrong idea. We aren’t the kind of people who would do anything improper in a bathhouse.”

Listening to Zhao Rong, the Chairman continued, ”Well, since it was all just a big misunderstanding, let’s leave this private room at once. We can go to the proper lounge up front, watch a movie, have some coffee, and chat.”

Zhao Rong feigned delight. ”You’re right, Chairman! Let’s go to the coffee shop up front, have a cup of coffee, and perhaps discuss some work-related matters.”

With that, the four of them—Zhao Rong, his assistant, the Chairman, and Wang Xiaopeng—went to the coffee shop in the main hall of the bathhouse. The cafe was bright with sunshine and had a pleasant atmosphere. Its only drawback was that the clientele was exclusively male; there wasn’t a single beautiful woman in sight.

As he sipped his coffee, the Chairman asked, ”Zhao Rong, I hear you’ve perfectly completed the mission I assigned you?”

Zhao Rong nodded and began his report. ”Chairman, the mission you assigned me was to enroll in the women’s university, win the heart of the beautiful Wang Guihua, and become the university’s president. I can now tell you with one hundred percent certainty that I have successfully won over Wang Guihua and have been appointed president of the women’s university.”

At this, the Chairman gave Zhao Rong a big thumbs-up. ”Zhao Rong, you truly are an outstanding employee of Hongda Company! No matter what the task, if it’s given to you, you always get it done.”

The assistant chimed in, adding to his boss’s prestige. ”Chairman, Brother Zhao Rong didn’t just win over Wang Guihua and become the university president. He also captured the assassin who had been terrorizing the university for over twenty years—the Rainy Night Killer! And on top of that, he rescued over a hundred scions of wealthy and powerful families!”

Hearing that Zhao Rong had not only completed but vastly exceeded his mission with such remarkable achievements, the Chairman turned to the tycoon beside him. ”Wang Xiaopeng, you told me your daughter was in her twenties and still wasn’t dating. You said she had no interest in men and that every suitor you sent to test her was beaten up. Well, I sent our company’s top man, Zhao Rong, to the women’s university. Not only did he succeed in courting your daughter, but he also proved that her orientation is perfectly normal. So, you can finally rest easy.”

Listening to the Chairman, Wang Xiaopeng looked at the man before him and gave two thumbs up in admiration. ”So you are the legendary Zhao Rong, whose name precedes him! I am truly grateful. As a father, you’ve lifted a great weight from my shoulders. To thank you for fulfilling this wish of mine, I have decided to give you a reward.”

With that, Wang Xiaopeng spread a map out on the table in front of Zhao Rong. He took out a red pen, pointed to a spot in the ocean, and drew a small island.

”I, Wang Xiaopeng, as one of the wealthiest tycoons in Xijing City,” he announced, ”have decided to give you this private island I own in the Pacific Ocean as a reward for completing your mission.”
