Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Chapter 348: Chapter 310: Don’t Blame Me, Zhao Rong, for Not Holding Back

Faced with the dilemma of whether to save the assistant or Li Xiaogang first, Lili immediately considered the bigger picture.

”Brother Zhao Rong, we should save Li Xiaogang first,” she said. ”After all, he’s facing a mortal threat.”

Yu Lan nodded in agreement. ”Those guys with the machetes look like serious trouble. They might actually kill Li Xiaogang. We should go save him first.”

However, Xuelian disagreed. ”Even if something bad happens to Li Xiaogang, he brought it on himself by seducing another man’s wife. I think we should save the assistant first.”

Three beauties, two different answers. As Zhao Rong hesitated, a scream suddenly echoed from Li Xiaogang’s dormitory.

”Oh my God! Help! Murder!”

Without another moment’s delay, Zhao Rong made a decision. ”Forget it, let’s go save Li Xiaogang. He’s in a life-or-death situation, whereas the assistant isn’t facing an immediate threat of death.”

With that, Zhao Rong rushed toward Li Xiaogang’s dormitory with the three beauties in tow.

Upon entering, Zhao Rong was greeted by a scene that was both infuriating and ridiculous. Li Xiaogang was kneeling on the floor while the woman who had just been in bed with him was standing. She was slapping Li Xiaogang’s face while speaking to her husband, who was holding a machete.

”Honey, this guy seduced me! I wasn’t willing at all, but he tricked me into coming to his dorm and even gave me some sort of hallucinogenic drug...”

Hearing this, the bald man with the chunky gold chain pressed the machete against Li Xiaogang’s neck. ”You’ve got some nerve, hitting on my woman. Do you have any idea who I, Baldy Liu, am?”

One of Baldy Liu’s machete-wielding cronies stepped forward and pointed at Li Xiaogang. ”Our boss, Baldy Liu, is a renowned assassin around here! You must have a death wish to mess with his woman.”

Another crony stepped up and kicked Li Xiaogang to the ground. ”You can’t even look at Boss Liu’s woman, let alone touch her. But you actually lured her to your dorm and shared a bed with her! You’re going to die a death uglier than a pig’s today.”

With that, the men with the machetes prepared to butcher Li Xiaogang.

Seeing this, Li Xiaogang immediately knelt and begged for his life. ”Brothers, please, hold on! Just listen to my explanation! I didn’t know her before today. This afternoon, I went to an adult novelty shop to buy a... a doll or a fleshlight. But then I saw your woman next to me, buying a dildo. Out of curiosity, I said, ’Hey beautiful, instead of buying that, you might as well just use me instead.’ And she nodded and said, ’And instead of you buying a doll or a fleshlight, you might as well just use me.’ Just like that, we exchanged a look and decided to have a little fun. That’s how we ended up here. Us being in bed together was completely consensual. There was no coercion at all!”

Before Li Xiaogang could finish, the woman strode forward, spat in his face, and cried, ”Husband, don’t listen to his nonsense! How could a conservative woman like me ever go to an adult toy store? Let alone say something so shameless! And come to a stranger’s dorm room? That’s completely absurd, an impossible fantasy!”

Baldy Liu completely believed his wife. He stepped forward and slapped Li Xiaogang hard across the face. ”You dare spout such lies? Do I not know my own wife? She’s extremely virtuous, shy, and conservative! How could she possibly do something like this behind my back?”

One of Baldy Liu’s cronies came up and punched Li Xiaogang in the nose. ”You must have been the one to seduce our boss’s woman! Otherwise, she would never have followed you to your dorm!”

Another goon stepped forward, elbowing Li Xiaogang in the forehead. ”Just look at that lecherous face of yours! You didn’t just seduce our boss’s wife—you must have drugged her, too! That’s the only way you could have forced her to come here!”

As they spoke, the three men pressed their machetes against Li Xiaogang’s neck.

Li Xiaogang looked at them, tears streaming down his face. ”I don’t know what to say. No matter what I say, you’ll just believe she’s some conservative angel and it’s all my fault. There’s no clearing my name now...”

Just as Li Xiaogang sank into despair, Zhao Rong burst in. ”Hey, guys, don’t do anything rash!” he said, speaking up for Li Xiaogang. ”I can be his witness. This woman wasn’t forced. They got into bed together willingly.”

Hearing this, Baldy Liu spun around and pointed his machete at Zhao Rong. ”Who the hell are you? Where did you pop out from? How do you know my woman was willing to sleep with this man?”

Zhao Rong recalled the earlier scene. ”To be honest, I was the first person to burst into this room, even before you.”

Baldy Liu paused, surprised. ”What do you mean? Are you and Li Xiaogang a thing? Did you come here to catch him in the act?”

Wiping cold sweat from his forehead, Zhao Rong replied awkwardly, ”Sir, please don’t misunderstand. My preferences are perfectly normal. And besides, my tastes aren’t that extreme.”

One of Baldy Liu’s lackeys asked, ”Then why did you break into Li Xiaogang’s dorm?”

Zhao Rong explained, ”I came here looking for someone. A member of our team, our assistant, has disappeared.”

At this moment, Lili also stepped forward to defend Li Xiaogang. ”Sir, you and your men can’t believe a word this woman says. It’s all lies! I can testify that when we came in, this woman was clinging to Li Xiaogang. They were stuck together like glue and looked like they were deeply in love.”

Yu Lan glared at the woman and snapped, ”You shameless hussy! If you’re going to cheat, at least have the guts to admit it instead of putting all the blame on Li Xiaogang. You have no shame!”

Although hearing the two beautiful women speak gave Baldy Liu a flicker of doubt, his resolve hardened when he saw his wife’s aggrieved expression. He still chose to believe she was the innocent, coerced victim and Li Xiaogang was a despicable predator.

He flew into a rage. ”Talk is cheap! You’re all in it together with this Li Xiaogang! You’re spouting absolute bullshit, and I don’t believe a word of it! I trust my wife. To me, she will always be the most virtuous, gentle, and lovely woman in the world!”

After his declaration, Baldy Liu pulled the woman into his arms, gave her a hard kiss, and let out a triumphant howl.

Seeing Baldy Liu’s arrogance, Xuelian stepped forward. Pulling her phone from her pocket, she said, ”Don’t celebrate too soon, mister. You wanted evidence? I have it right here, and I’m about to show you.”

When the woman heard that this newcomer had evidence, her face went pale. ”Miss, we’re complete strangers, we’ve never met! Where could you possibly have gotten evidence on me? Even if you have something, it must be fake!”

Xuelian snorted, unlocked her phone, and opened her photo gallery. She found a ten-second video and said, ”I filmed this when I rushed in here with Brother Zhao Rong. I was originally thinking of shooting a quick clip to upload to TikTok for some views. I never thought you people would force my hand and make me use it as evidence.”

With that, Xuelian showed the video to everyone. As they watched, seeing clear proof that the woman was not being forced by Li Xiaogang as she claimed, the onlookers were all left dumbfounded.

Baldy Liu was so furious his nostrils flared. He kicked the woman to the ground and roared, ”I treat you so well! Why would you cheat on me? Am I, Baldy Liu, not man enough for you? Can’t I satisfy you?”

His tirade over, Baldy Liu’s fury suddenly redirected to Li Xiaogang. His eyes bloodshot, he snarled, ”Li Xiaogang, even if my wife was willing, you still took advantage of her! So today, I have to kill you! It’s the only way to quench the hatred in my heart!”

With that, Baldy Liu swung his machete at Li Xiaogang.

”Zhao Rong, save me!” Li Xiaogang shrieked, scurrying away while covering his head.

Seeing Li Xiaogang’s pathetic state, Zhao Rong lunged forward and grabbed Baldy Liu’s arm. ”Sir, they were both in the wrong, but that’s no reason to kill someone!”

Lili stepped up to lecture the bald man. ”We live in a society with laws! You can’t just attack someone with a knife in broad daylight. We’ll call the police on you!”

Xuelian went a step further, raising her phone to film the assault. ”Baldy Liu, I’m recording all your vicious acts! I’m going to post them to show the world what kind of scum, what kind of societal parasite, you truly are!”

However, the pleas of the three beauties didn’t convince the thugs to drop their weapons. On the contrary, they became even more brazen.

One of the goons charged the three women with his machete. ”If we’re going to be done for one murder, we might as well be done for four! Let’s just kill all three of you beauties along with this guy!”

When Zhao Rong saw how truly depraved these thugs were, he roared, ”This is the last straw! Don’t blame me, Zhao Rong, for getting rough!”
