Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

When the Assistant and Xue Lianmei peered through the crack in the door, they were surprised to discover two kidnapped women inside the secret room. However, these women were neither Ms. Lili nor Yu Lan. As the three of them rushed in, Xue Lianmei immediately pointed to a woman tied to a chair with a towel stuffed in her mouth. ”This woman is neither Ms. Lili nor Yu Lan...”

The Assistant looked at the other woman tied to a chair and said in astonishment, ”Weightlifter Girl, what are you doing here? Why would they kidnap you?”

Meanwhile, Zhao Rong looked at another woman tied to the sofa and exclaimed, ”Huang Xiaojuan, what are you doing here? Who kidnapped you, and why?”

With that, the three of them rushed forward and rescued the Weightlifter Girl and Huang Xiaojuan.

The Assistant gave the Weightlifter Girl a sip of water and asked with concern, ”Weightlifter Girl, are you okay? Are you hurt?”

The Weightlifter Girl looked at the Assistant, her expression overjoyed. ”My dear Assistant, we’ve only been on one date, but it seems we’re so in sync! How did you know I was kidnapped by some bad guys and brought to this underground room?”

Looking at the virtually unharmed Weightlifter Girl, the Assistant said in astonishment, ”Weightlifter Girl, to be honest, we actually came here to rescue the kidnapped Ms. Lili and Yu Lan... We didn’t expect to find you and Huang Xiaojuan here instead.”

When the Weightlifter Girl heard the Assistant hadn’t come specifically for her, she was a bit disheartened, but she still thanked him. ”Assistant, I know you’re an honest person and don’t want to take credit you don’t feel you’ve earned. But even though you came to rescue other people, you still saved me. I’m grateful for that.”

With that, the Weightlifter Girl hugged the Assistant and planted a deep kiss on his face.

Standing beside them, Zhao Rong, after freeing Huang Xiaojuan, immediately asked, ”Huang Xiaojuan, weren’t we just chatting at school a little while ago? How did you suddenly get kidnapped and end up here?”

Huang Xiaojuan replied, clearly confused, ”After you left, I went to a noodle shop near the school entrance to eat. It was so hot, I ordered a plum juice... But I took one sip and then I don’t remember anything. When I woke up, I was here.”

The Weightlifter Girl also recounted her experience. ”There was a vendor selling cold drinks near the school entrance. I went to buy a cheap ice pop, but I fainted after eating half of it. The next thing I knew, I was tied to a chair with a towel stuffed in my mouth... I was in so much pain, I was starting to lose hope, but then you arrived to save us! Thank you, my lifesavers!”

Just then, Xuelian realized the secret room was the end of the cave. She looked around with concern for the missing women. ”Big Brother Zhao Rong,” she asked, ”we came to rescue Ms. Lili and Yu Lan, so where are they?”

Zhao Rong frowned, equally puzzled about where they could have been taken. But just as he felt helpless, he suddenly remembered the DNA Positioning Detector App on his phone.

So, Zhao Rong immediately said to the two women, ”Does either of you have a phone charger? I need one urgently.”

The Weightlifter Girl and Huang Xiaojuan both took out their charging cables. When Zhao Rong saw the Weightlifter Girl’s cable had a Type-C connector, he immediately took it and turned to the Assistant.

”Assistant, quick, give me your power bank. I need to turn on my phone so I can use the app to track down Ms. Lili and Yu Lan. Otherwise, we’ll be like headless flies, just wandering aimlessly around this room without finding them.”

The Assistant immediately took out his power bank and handed it to Zhao Rong.

Once Zhao Rong’s phone was charging, he turned it on and opened the app. He was shocked to see that the red dot on the map was moving away from the Xijing City vegetable market.

Alarmed, Zhao Rong shouted, ”Damn it! The kidnappers must have realized we came to rescue Ms. Lili and Yu Lan, so they’ve started moving them out of the vegetable market!”

With that, Zhao Rong showed the live map from the app to the others.

When Xue Lianmei saw this, she asked, ”Big Brother Zhao Rong, do you think the kidnappers are pulling a classic bait and switch? Using these two as a diversion to move their real targets?”

The Assistant added his own analysis. ”They’re too cunning. They must have taken advantage of our curiosity and sympathy, kidnapping Huang Xiaojuan and the Weightlifter Girl to divert our attention while they moved Yu Lan and Ms. Lili.”

Holding the phone flat in his hand, Zhao Rong was already rushing out. ”We have to chase them now! If they get too far away, we’ll have a hard time finding them.”

With that, Zhao Rong took off. The Assistant, Xue Lianmei, Huang Xiaojuan, and the Weightlifter Girl followed closely behind.

As Zhao Rong left the fish shop, he immediately sprinted toward the market entrance. Upon reaching it, he reopened the app on his phone. When he saw the red dot on the map moving rapidly north, he immediately hailed a taxi.

”Driver, I’ll open Amap for you. Follow this red dot, and I’ll give you 500 yuan.”

Hearing the offer of 500 yuan, the driver’s face lit up. ”No problem, I’m on it!”

Just as the driver was about to slam on the gas, the Assistant and Xue Lianmei jumped into the taxi. The car sped off, chasing the red dot on the map.

Although the taxis in Xijing City were all BYD F3s that ran on natural gas, Zhao Rong realized that when the driver accelerated, the taxi’s power was comparable to his own Maybach. He was especially in awe of the driver’s skill as he sped through the congested downtown traffic.

Before long, the taxi was getting closer and closer to the red dot on the map. Suddenly, the red dot made a U-turn and started heading straight for them.

Seeing the bizarre maneuver, Zhao Rong was stunned. What is this guy doing? Is he trying to turn himself in?

When Xue Lianmei saw the kidnappers’ car turn around and head back the way it came, she exclaimed in surprise, ”Do you think they realized they’re being tracked? Maybe they’re taking a detour to shake us off.”

The Assistant offered his analysis, ”Big Brother Zhao Rong, you’re wrong. Xue Lianmei, you’re wrong too. I think I know what’s happening... The enemy is cunning. They’re circling around to go back to the fish shop. They’re banking on the idea that the most dangerous place is the safest, and the most obvious spot is the hardest to find.”

However, before the Assistant could finish, Zhao Rong saw the red dot on the app’s map hurtling directly toward their BYD F3 taxi for a head-on collision.

Before Zhao Rong could even look up, the driver panicked and yelled, ”Oh no! That Land Rover ahead isn’t just driving the wrong way on the ring road—it’s coming straight for us!”

In that critical moment, the driver, drawing on twenty years of experience, expertly yanked the steering wheel, spun the car around, and started fleeing in the wrong direction himself.

A comical scene ensued. Just moments ago, Zhao Rong, Xue Lianmei, and the Assistant had been frantically chasing the red dot in their taxi—the very same Land Rover. Now, that red dot—the Land Rover—was pursuing their BYD F3.

Zhao Rong couldn’t help but laugh. ”Well, well, how the tables have turned. A minute ago we were chasing this Land Rover, and now it’s chasing our BYD F3.”

The driver, while desperately trying to escape, shouted a warning to Zhao Rong, ”Sir, that Land Rover isn’t just chasing us! It’s trying to wreck our car and kill everyone inside!”

Hearing how ruthless the other driver was, Zhao Rong thought to himself, Damn, they’re that vicious? Fine. I’ll show them some Instant Teleportation.

So, Zhao Rong said to the driver beside him and to Xue Lianmei and the Assistant in the back seat, ”Brace yourselves. I’m about to disappear for a second.”

When the driver heard the passenger next to him say he was about to disappear, he whipped his head around. ”Young man, what are you doing? Are you planning on jumping out? We’re speeding down the ring road! If you jump, you’ll definitely die!”

The Assistant, from the back seat, grabbed Zhao Rong’s arm. ”Big Brother Zhao Rong, instead of jumping to your death, it would be better to be killed by that pursuing Land Rover! At least that would be a more dramatic end! You’d die like a man, with some dignity...”

Xue Lianmei hugged Zhao Rong from behind and said worriedly, ”Big Brother Zhao Rong, are you going to use your own body to stop that Land Rover? To keep them from catching us or crashing into us? Big Brother Zhao Rong, I know you want to be a hero and save us, but sacrificing your life like this is just not worth it...”

But before Xue Lianmei and the Assistant could finish speaking, Zhao Rong vanished from the passenger seat without a trace.

When the driver saw that the man in his passenger seat had disappeared, he screamed in terror, ”A ghost! There’s a ghost!”
