Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Chapter 302: Chapter 265: Just now it was an utter mess, but now it’s as good as lacquered and glued.

Teacher Li was leading Zhao Rong and the three beautiful women toward the nearby student dormitory building.

Suddenly, Mu Xiping charged over from behind. With a front flip, he landed in front of Zhao Rong and said, ”Kid, do you think this is over just because you hit me?”

Shen Gongbao did a backflip and landed behind Zhao Rong. ”Of all the people to hit, you dared to strike my subordinate. You’re practically asking for death...”

But before Shen Gongbao could finish, Teacher Li stepped forward and slapped him twice across the face. ”Is our Sports Academy a place for fighting? I, Teacher Li, am right here, and you still dare to bully a new student. Have you no respect for anyone?”

Seeing stars from the slaps, Shen Gongbao pointed a finger at Teacher Li’s nose and cursed, ”Who the hell do you think you are? How dare you slap me? You must have a death wish...”

Mu Xiping hurried over, grabbed Shen Gongbao’s hand to stop him, and said, ”How could I have been so careless? I didn’t even see Teacher Li standing next to them... Shen Gongbao, stop! He’s my master, Teacher Li!”

Before Mu Xiping could finish, Teacher Li turned and delivered two resounding slaps across his face as well, scolding, ”You’re doing a great job of embarrassing me! Now, scram!”

After Teacher Li chewed them out, Mu Xiping grabbed Shen Gongbao’s hand, and the two scurried away with their tails between their legs.

The Sports Academy’s student dormitory was enormous, standing twenty-three stories high. Teacher Li brought the group to the eighteenth floor and told them, ”There are six vacant rooms on this floor for now. The four of you can each take a single room temporarily.”

Upon hearing this, Lili immediately disagreed. ”We three sisters always live together. We can’t possibly separate, not even in a school dorm.”

Yu Lan also looked at the nearby rooms and added, ”We three beauties stick together like double-sided tape. No one should even think about separating us.”

Hearing the women, Teacher Li said awkwardly, ”Actually, these are all double rooms. If you don’t want to split up, two of you can share a room, and the third person can take a single room.”

Xuelian stepped forward, stood next to Zhao Rong, and said to Teacher Li, ”Since they’re double rooms, let Lili and Yu Lan live together.”

Hearing this, Lili and Yu Lan looked at Xuelian and asked in unison, ”If we room together, we can’t just abandon you and let you live in a single room alone, can we?”

With a sly smile, Xuelian took Zhao Rong’s arm. She looked at him and said, ”I can live with Zhao Rong...”

When they heard Xuelian propose to room with Zhao Rong, Lili and Yu Lan immediately objected. Lili moved to Zhao Rong’s left side, took his hand, and declared, ”Zhao Rong, if you agree to share a room with Xuelian, then I’m moving in with you too!”

Yu Lan also rushed over. ”Zhao Rong, if you agree to live with Xuelian, then you have to agree to live with me too!”

At that moment, Zhao Rong felt both trapped and extraordinarily happy. He looked at each of the three women, spread his hands with a smile, and said, ”I don’t mind. It’s up to you three.”

Just then, Xuelian suggested, ”Why don’t the three of us play Rock-Paper-Scissors? The winner gets to live with Zhao Rong, and the two who lose can’t have any complaints.”

The three women immediately agreed. So, right in front of Zhao Rong, they began to play.

In the first round, Lili threw scissors, while Xuelian and Yu Lan both threw paper. The victorious Lili dashed over, leaped onto Zhao Rong, and exclaimed, ”Zhao Rong, I can finally share a room with you!”

But just then, Yu Lan said coldly, ”It’s best two out of three. That was only the first round. How can the winner be decided already?”

Xuelian agreed. ”Yu Lan is right. It should be best of three to decide who lives with Zhao Rong.”

Her excitement dashed, Lili hopped down from Zhao Rong and said angrily, ”You two are going back on your word! Didn’t we say whoever wins Rock-Paper-Scissors gets to live with Zhao Rong? What’s this sudden ’best two out of three’ nonsense?”

Ignoring her, Yu Lan and Xuelian pulled her over and said in unison, ”Nope, we have to start over.”

And so, the three women started another round. Though reluctant, Lili had no choice but to accept.

In the second round of Rock-Paper-Scissors, Lili won again.

She immediately leaped back onto Zhao Rong, kissed his forehead, and said excitedly, wiping away tears, ”Zhao Rong, heaven is on my side! I threw scissors again, and both Yu Lan and Xuelian threw paper again! If that isn’t a sign that the stars have aligned for me, I don’t know what is!”

Zhao Rong held Lili tightly, afraid she would fall.

When Xuelian and Yu Lan saw that Lili had won yet again, they grew angry and started blaming each other.

Yu Lan pointed at Xuelian. ”I only chose paper because I was worried Lili would throw rock! Why did you copy me and throw paper too? You practically handed her the victory!”

Xuelian shot back, ”If you’re so capable, why don’t you just force your way into a room with Zhao Rong? You have no skill, yet you’re blaming me for choosing the wrong move.”

”It’s all your fault, all your fault!” Yu Lan accused.

”It’s entirely on you, entirely on you!” Xuelian retorted.

With that, the two women were suddenly grappling, wrestling and scuffling with each other.

Zhao Rong was stunned by the scene. He carefully set Lili down and said, ”Whoa, you three are usually thick as thieves. Why are you suddenly fighting? This is extremely rare.”

When Lili saw her two best friends fighting because of her, she felt a pang of guilt and rushed to intervene. While trying to pull them apart, she pleaded, ”If you two don’t want me to live with Zhao Rong, you could have just said so! Why are you fighting?”

While still shoving Yu Lan, Xuelian said, ”If we don’t fight, can you promise you won’t share a dorm with Zhao Rong?”

Yu Lan, while pulling Xuelian’s hair, added, ”Lili, if you still insist on rooming with Zhao Rong, then we’ll beat each other to death right in front of you, and we’ll never stop!”

When Lili heard her two best friends were so jealous over Zhao Rong that they were making death threats, she immediately caved. She clasped her hands together and promised the brawling pair, ”As long as you two stop fighting and make up, I promise I absolutely will not share a dorm with Zhao Rong!”

Lili had barely finished speaking when Yu Lan and Xuelian instantly stopped fighting. They hugged each other, laughing as if they were best friends again, and said to her, ”We’ve made up now. We’re not fighting anymore. Lili, hurry up and get away from Zhao Rong and keep your promise!”

Seeing this, Lili was dumbfounded. She said angrily, ”You two little demons! You staged a whole pity play right in front of me!”

Yu Lan smiled. ”If we hadn’t staged it, would you ever have promised not to share a dorm with Zhao Rong?”

Xuelian, with her arm around Yu Lan, laughed heartily and said to Lili, ”Alright, our little show is over. Lili, time to honor your promise.”

There was nothing she could do. Although Lili knew she had been tricked, she had already given her word. With a deep sigh, she said, ”You two are ruthless. Fine, I give up.”

When Zhao Rong saw that the three women, who had just been fighting like cats and dogs, were now suddenly friends again, he couldn’t help but sigh. ”Women are sometimes like children. One moment they’re at each other’s throats, the next they’re as close as can be. A woman’s heart is as hard to fathom as a needle in the ocean.”

So, Zhao Rong suggested, ”Look, since you three are so close, why don’t you just add another bed to one of the rooms? Then all three of you can live together. Problem solved.”

Upon hearing his words, the three women hugged each other joyfully and exclaimed in unison, ”That’s a brilliant idea! Let’s do that!”

Seeing the problem was finally resolved, Zhao Rong breathed a sigh of relief and prepared to go to his own room. Suddenly, he remembered his purpose for coming to the Sports Academy. He turned around, took a photograph from his pocket, and walked over to Teacher Li.

When he reached him, he showed him the picture. ”Teacher, do you recognize the person in this photo? His name is Lu Xiaoqiang. I think he should be here at the Sports Academy.”

At the sight of the photograph in Zhao Rong’s hand, the previously calm and composed Teacher Li suddenly grew flustered. He stared at Zhao Rong, completely at a loss, hesitating to speak.
