Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Zhao Rong placed the flower-picking Divine Artifact on the ground and opened the storage pouch attached to it. The moment he did, an unforgettable fragrance wafted out. It was different from the scent of the Snow Lotus—an indescribable and utterly magnificent aroma.

When Xue Lianmei saw that Zhao Rong had picked every last one of the owner’s Heavenly Mountain Magnolias, she wiped the sweat from her brow. ”Brother Zhao Rong, that was a bit much, wasn’t it?” she said. ”The owner asked you to pick some flowers, but you’ve completely cleared him out...”

Zhao Rong replied sheepishly, ”I had no idea! These divine artifacts they sell online are just too powerful. If I’d known this thing was so ridiculously effective, I wouldn’t have bought it. I would’ve just gone down and picked a dozen by hand.”

With that, Zhao Rong helped the fallen owner to his feet and presented all the flowers to him. ”Sir, I only need twenty. Please, take the rest of these Heavenly Mountain Magnolias back.”

Though the owner was shocked, he was, after all, a man of the world. He just smiled at Zhao Rong and said, ”I admit, I never expected you two to be so capable as to harvest every single Heavenly Mountain Magnolia I planted. But I did say you could take as many as you could pick. I’m a man of my word, and a promise is a promise. So, these precious Heavenly Mountain Magnolias are all yours. Take them.”

The owner’s generosity made Zhao Rong feel awkward. ”Sir, if I take all the Heavenly Mountain Magnolias you’ve worked so hard to grow, won’t that leave you with nothing?”

The owner laughed. ”It’s quite all right. The Heavenly Mountain Magnolia is precious, but in ten years, this field will be full of them once more. Please, take them all. Don’t be polite.”

Faced with the owner’s enthusiastic insistence, Zhao Rong and Xue Lianmei couldn’t refuse. Zhao Rong accepted his kindness, storing all the Heavenly Mountain Magnolias in his Magic Ring. ”In that case, it would be rude to refuse,” he said gratefully.

Xue Lianmei also thanked him. ”Thank you, sir. With these Heavenly Mountain Magnolias, Brother Zhao Rong will have far more ingredients for his alchemy.”

The owner gave Zhao Rong a thumbs-up. ”A great doctor like you, who heals the sick and eases people’s suffering, deserves to have these Heavenly Mountain Magnolias to aid in your alchemy.”

After bidding the owner farewell, Zhao Rong and Xue Lianmei used Instant Teleportation to return to the girls’ dormitory.

The moment they arrived, Xue Lianmei threw her arms around Zhao Rong. Caught in her sudden embrace and inhaling her sweet fragrance, Zhao Rong said with feeling, ”It really wasn’t easy getting the Snow Lotus and the Heavenly Mountain Magnolia...”

Xue Lianmei gently rested her forehead against his chest and sighed deeply. ”No, it wasn’t, Brother Zhao Rong. But I know that as long as you’re here, nothing is impossible. Brother Zhao Rong, I feel more and more that you’re not just the hero of my heart... you’re my future husband.”

Hearing the word ”husband,” Zhao Rong’s eyes darted around. ”Husband? What do you mean?”

Xue Lianmei suddenly grew shy. ”It means... I’m willing to be your beast of burden for the rest of my life.”

Zhao Rong was deeply moved. ”Xue Lianmei, you’re such a good woman. In this day and age, there aren’t many women willing to be a man’s beast of burden for life. Especially a woman as beautiful as you... you’re a rare and priceless treasure.”

Xue Lianmei suddenly lifted her head and gently kissed his cheek. ”I, Xue Lianmei, will only be a beast of burden for my Brother Zhao Rong,” she said shyly. ”No other man in this world could ever hope to earn my affection.”

Her words touched Zhao Rong to his very soul. He cupped her face in his hands, gazing deeply into her eyes. Tears welled in Xue Lianmei’s own eyes as she looked back at him. As their gazes locked, they both knew what was coming next.

Looking at each other, they started moving toward the bed. As they did, Zhao Rong casually grabbed a roll of toilet paper from the table and tossed it onto the mattress, while Xue Lianmei opened a drawer and retrieved eight condoms.

By the time the toilet paper roll landed on the bed and Xue Lianmei had the condoms in her hand, they had reached the bedside. Xue Lianmei sat down first. Looking at Zhao Rong, she asked, ”Brother Zhao Rong, do you want to be on the... or...?”

Zhao Rong stared, his eyes wide. Xue Lianmei seems so delicate and innocent, giving off the impression she doesn’t know about these things. I can’t believe she knows so many moves when it comes to this!

He sat down too, patting the mattress to test its springiness. ”Alright,” he said. ”I’ll be on the bottom, you can be on top.”

At his words, Xue Lianmei immediately knelt on the bed. ”Brother Zhao Rong, you’re so naughty,” she said, looking at him.

Zhao Rong grinned mischievously. ”If a man isn’t naughty, a woman won’t love him.”

”The man I want is a gentleman by day,” Xue Lianmei said, unwrapping a condom, ”and a little naughty by night.”

Zhao Rong grabbed some toilet paper, also grinning. ”Xue Lianmei, it looks like it’s still daytime... but that’s okay. I can be very naughty during the day, too. Especially in bed. I can be even naughtier.”

With that, he did a front flip to the window and pulled the curtains shut, then did a backflip onto the bed.

A moment of intimacy is priceless. Once the curtains were drawn, the room was plunged into darkness, and their eyes burned with desire.

Just as their private story was about to begin, Lili suddenly crawled out of the Magic Ring, using every ounce of her strength. Lying on the floor, she looked at Zhao Rong and Xue Lianmei and commanded, ”You two, stop!”

Hearing a voice, Zhao Rong asked in surprise, ”What was that? Who’s speaking?”

Suddenly, Xue Lianmei spotted Lili on the floor and shrieked, ”Sister Lili! When did you get out of the Magic Ring?”

Mustering all her strength, Lili managed to sit up. Leaning against the bed, she said weakly, ”Good thing I was keeping an eye on you two every single moment. Otherwise, Brother Zhao Rong’s... would have been lost today.”

When Xue Lianmei realized Lili had discovered what they were about to do, she stammered, ”Sister Lili, you’re mistaken! Brother Zhao Rong and I weren’t...”

Lili reached into the Magic Ring and pulled Yu Lan out as well. ”If you two weren’t about to... then why are you on the bed?”

Zhao Rong quickly backed up the lie. ”You have to understand, first we went to the Heavenly Mountain to find the Snow Lotus, and then we went to the Heavenly Lake to find the Heavenly Mountain Magnolia. The whole process was incredibly dangerous and difficult. We were exhausted and just wanted to lie down for a bit to rest before starting the alchemy to heal you two.”

Hearing this, Yu Lan pointed at the opened packet in Xue Lianmei’s hand. ”Resting is one thing, but why are you holding an opened condom?”

Hearing her sister’s question, an embarrassed Xue Lianmei quickly threw the packet under the bed. She then pulled a balloon from her pocket and started blowing it up. ”Sister Yu Lan, you’re mistaken! That wasn’t a condom, it was a balloon. If you don’t believe me, I’ll blow it up for you right now.”

As she spoke, she blew up a large balloon.

Seeing this, Zhao Rong quickly chimed in with a laugh, ”Yu Lan, Lili, you’ve really misunderstood us. We were just about to lie on the bed and do some yoga. See? Xue Lianmei has already blown up this big balloon. It can totally be used as a yoga ball for exercise.”

He took the balloon from Xue Lianmei, placed it beneath himself, and, using his Qinggong, began to do yoga poses on it.

As Zhao Rong was busy with his ”yoga,” Lili looked at the roll of toilet paper he’d put on the headboard. ”Brother Zhao Rong,” she asked, ”if you and Xue Lianmei were just going to do yoga, why did you put such a large roll of toilet paper on the bed?”

Zhao Rong flushed. ”Ah, that! Well, Lili, you know I sweat a lot, especially when doing yoga. The toilet paper is to wipe away the sweat.”

Lili was unconvinced. ”There’s a towel hanging right on your headboard. You’re telling me you’d use toilet paper instead of a towel to wipe off sweat?”

Yu Lan was equally skeptical. ”I don’t think that toilet paper is for wiping sweat. It’s for wiping... something else, isn’t it?”

Hearing Lili and her sister, Xue Lianmei’s face turned beet red as she explained, ”Sisters, you’re both mistaken. That’s not a roll of toilet paper. It’s a white chocolate roll!”

Saying this, she grabbed the roll and began to eat it right there on the spot.

When Zhao Rong saw her eating toilet paper, he cried out in shock, ”Xue Lianmei, what are you doing? You can’t eat that!”

Lili and Yu Lan also tried to stop her. ”Sister Xuelian, put that down! Be careful, you’ll make yourself sick!”

Ignoring their protests, Xue Lianmei smiled to herself, then tore off a piece of the ”toilet paper” and tossed it to them. ”See for yourselves,” she said. ”Is this toilet paper or a chocolate roll?”

When Zhao Rong and the other two women saw that what Xue Lianmei had tossed them was not toilet paper but a genuine white chocolate roll, they all fell to the floor in shock. Zhao Rong stared at Xue Lianmei, his eyes wide with astonishment. ”Xue Lianmei, how did you do that? How did you turn a roll of toilet paper into a white chocolate roll?!”
