Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Just as Zhao Rong and the two hoodlums were about to come to blows, a loud voice suddenly rang out from not far away.

”Brother Zhao Rong, I’ve finally found you!”

Zhao Rong had been ready to deal with the two hoodlums in front of him, but when he heard the familiar voice, he couldn’t help but lower his hands and look into the distance.

A man dressed in sportswear, soccer cleats, and a baseball cap was charging toward them like the wind.

Zhao Rong looked at his Helper’s surprise arrival and said in astonishment, ”Didn’t I tell you to stay at the Ghost Hunting Academy and run the place as its acting dean for me? Why did you suddenly come running over to the Sports Academy?”

Lili looked at the Helper as he ran over and said disdainfully, ”Why did you follow us here again? This guy doesn’t just mess things up; he loves to stir the pot.”

Yu Lan, looking even more disgusted, said with contempt, ”The moment I see the Helper’s lecherous expression, I know he must have come for the pretty girls at the Sports Academy.”

In contrast to Yu Lan and Lili, Xue Lianmei welcomed the Helper warmly. ”Helper, you’re finally here! It looks like our team is finally complete.”

After arriving, the Helper stood between Zhao Rong and the two hoodlums, saying with a mischievous grin, ”Brother Zhao Rong, you really made me look all over for you.”

When the two hoodlums saw the Helper’s sudden appearance, they were both startled. Could this guy be this man’s accomplice? they wondered.

Just as the two were feeling suspicious, the Helper took a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and offered them to the hoodlums. ”Brothers, have a smoke.”

As the hoodlums took the cigarettes, they grew even more confused. Is he not this man’s accomplice? Otherwise, why would he offer us cigarettes?

Zhao Rong looked at the Helper and asked, ”Why are you here? Didn’t I tell you to run the Ghost Hunting Academy for me?”

After passing out cigarettes, the Helper pulled a handful of fruit candies from his pocket and handed them out as he spoke. ”Do you all remember Beauty Xueli? That pale, beautiful woman we met on our first day at the Ghost Hunting Academy? I left the Ghost Hunting Academy in her temporary charge. Besides, she’s exceptionally capable. I’m sure she’ll do a great job managing the place.”

He finished speaking and then, overcome with emotion, continued, ”Brother Zhao Rong, Lili, Yu Lan, Xue Lianmei, I’ve realized that I, Helper, can’t be without you all. We aren’t just a team; we’re a big family. In our group, every single person is indispensable. Being with you all… it just feels so good.”

However, before the Helper could finish, the two hoodlums shoved him to the ground and cursed, ”Damn it! We thought you came to help this guy fight us, but it turns out you’re just a long-winded monk! Get lost and don’t ruin our fun!”

Pushed to the ground, the Helper sprang back to his feet. Looking at the two towering figures before him, he demanded, ”What are you doing? Are you trying to pick a fight with my Brother Zhao Rong?”

The boxer shoved the Helper and said fiercely, ”We’re not just going to beat up your brother; we’re going to abduct these three beauties he’s with!”

The Taekwondo practitioner, looking at the three women with an even lewder expression, added with a smirk, ”Honestly, the only reason we want to fight is for these three beauties.”

Hearing the two hoodlums acting so disrespectfully, completely blind to the powerhouse before them, the Helper immediately tried to warn them. ”You two punks must not know who my Brother Zhao Rong is. Let me tell you, my Brother Zhao Rong isn’t just the Sect Leader of the True Martial Sect; he’s also the principal of Xijing University and the dean of the Ghost Hunting Academy! You’d better wise up and stop showing off in front of a master.”

When the two hoodlums heard that the short, unimposing, and somewhat scrawny Zhao Rong was supposedly the Sect Leader of the True Martial Sect, the principal of Xijing University, and the dean of the Ghost Hunting Academy, they roared with laughter.

The boxer mocked, ”If he’s the Sect Leader of the True Martial Sect, then I’m the abbot of the Shaolin Temple!”

The Taekwondo practitioner added with disdain, ”With that pathetic look of his? If he can be the principal of Xijing University, then I can be the president of Harvard!”

With that, the two hoodlums howled with laughter.

When the Helper saw that the two were beyond reason, he walked over to Zhao Rong, bared his stomach, and declared, ”Brother Zhao Rong, I know we just got to the Sports Academy and wanted to keep a low profile, not cause any trouble. But these two are forcing our hand! A man can be killed but not humiliated. Brother Zhao Rong, use your Over-the-Mountain Fist! Hit me right in the belly!”

As he spoke, the Helper lifted his shirt, revealing his pale, plump stomach.

When the two hoodlums saw the Helper run up to Zhao Rong and ask to be punched, they were utterly dumbfounded.

The Taekwondo practitioner scratched the back of his head, completely perplexed. ”This Helper guy is a real piece of work. Not only is he full of nonsense, but he’s also a masochist. Asking his own guy to hit him? He must be a born idiot.”

The boxer said with even more arrogance, ”The way I see it, this newbie Zhao Rong is an idiot, and his Helper is an idiot. You put two idiots together, and I guess that makes them… one giant dumbass!”

But before the two hoodlums could finish their taunts, Zhao Rong let out a great shout, ”Over-the-Mountain Fist!” His left fist struck the Helper’s stomach, while his right fist simultaneously struck a passerby with glasses.

In that instant, with a powerful gust of wind, the immense force of the blows slammed into the boxer and the Taekwondo practitioner. Suddenly, both men were sent flying up into the air before landing somewhere outside the Sports Academy’s walls. The two hoodlums, caught completely off guard, found themselves soaring through the sky.

As they flew, they actually had a conversation.

The boxer, confused, asked the Taekwondo practitioner, ”Weren’t we about to beat that guy up? How did we end up flying before we even threw a punch?”

The Taekwondo practitioner was just as baffled. ”This makes no sense! How can we defy gravity and just fly on our own?”

Before they could finish speaking, they plummeted down outside the wall, landing right in a pile of dung.

After sending the two flying, Zhao Rong let out a long sigh and rubbed his knuckles. ”I just got to the Sports Academy. I really didn’t want to start hitting people so soon, but they forced my hand.”

The Helper rubbed his own stomach, looked at where the two hoodlums had disappeared, and said with a grin, ”It’s been a while since I’ve felt Brother Zhao Rong’s Over-the-Mountain Fist. Man, getting hit in the stomach like that feels amazing!”

Meanwhile, the man with glasses who had been passing by looked at Zhao Rong, his nose in the air. ”What do you think you’re doing? Why did you hit me?”

Embarrassed, Zhao Rong apologized. ”My apologies, classmate. I was just using my mysterious-rank advanced Martial Technique, the Over-the-Mountain Fist. I only needed to borrow your body for a moment.”

The man with glasses replied unkindly, ”Who do you think you are? You think you can just borrow my body whenever you want? Watch out, or I’ll sue you for psychological damages and personal injury!”

Zhao Rong continued to apologize. ”I’m sorry, I truly am. If those two thugs hadn’t been so arrogant, I wouldn’t have needed to use a two-pronged attack with my Over-the-Mountain Fist.”

The man stuck his hands in his pockets and eyed Zhao Rong sideways. ”Sorry? How much is a ’sorry’ worth? You think a simple apology is enough?”

Left with no other choice, Zhao Rong asked, ”Fine. How much do you want? I’ll pay you right now.”

The man with glasses demanded an exorbitant price. ”One hundred thousand at most, ten thousand at least. You decide what to give me.”

Hearing the sky-high demand, the Helper standing nearby grabbed the man’s collar. ”Damn it! My Brother Zhao Rong barely touched you! What’s with the theatrics? You’re trying to extort my brother for that much money?”

Seeing the Helper grab his collar, the man’s eyes rolled back in his head. He collapsed to the ground, foaming at the mouth, and cried out, ”I’m dying! I’m dying! You hit me again! You have to compensate me for permanent disability!”

When Zhao Rong saw that the man was a professional scammer, he lost all sympathy.

Looking at the man feigning death on the ground, Zhao Rong warned him, ”Four-Eyes, I was actually prepared to give you a few tens of thousands to compensate for my rudeness. But now that I see you’re nothing but a professional scammer who extorts people, I’ve decided you won’t get a single penny from me.”

Hearing that he wasn’t getting paid, the man stood up, fell down, stood up, and fell down again before starting to convulse, faking an epileptic fit. ”Quick! Call an ambulance! Get me to the hospital! Then call the police and arrest this new student!”

After his outburst, he whispered to Zhao Rong, ”Look, kid. If you don’t want me to go to the hospital, and you don’t want to go to jail, pay me 200,000 in compensation right now, and we’ll call it even. I’ll get up and go back to my dorm. Otherwise, I’ll ruin your reputation, and your losses will be far greater.”

Hearing the threats from this posturing fool, Zhao Rong took a step forward, completely unafraid. ”Buddy, you should learn some restraint. Don’t force me to deliver justice and punish the wicked.”

Hearing this, the man scoffed. ”Me, Four-Eyes? I’ve been in this game for years. The people who fall into my hands pay me thousands at the minimum, millions at the most. No one has ever escaped my clutches. Forget paying me, you dare threaten me with talk of punishing the wicked? Let’s just see who makes who suffer.”

Before the man could finish speaking, Zhao Rong shouted at his companion, ”Helper! Lie on top of this guy! I’m going to use my mysterious-rank advanced Martial Technique, the Over-the-Mountain Fist!”

The Helper froze for a second, then looked at Zhao Rong. ”Brother Zhao Rong, you usually use your Over-the-Mountain Fist on people who are standing. With both of us lying on the ground, will it even work? You don’t think it will rebound, do you?”

At the mention of a rebound, Zhao Rong was also unsure. ”Who cares! Let’s just try it and teach this scammer a lesson.”

When the man on the ground heard Zhao Rong was going to hit him, he said gleefully, ”Go on, hit me! Hit me! You bumped me earlier, and I asked for ten thousand. Now, if you punch me, I’ll demand a million. Let’s see if you pay up then!”

Before the man with glasses could finish his sentence, Zhao Rong slammed his fist into the Helper’s stomach and roared, ”Mysterious-rank advanced Martial Technique, Over-the-Mountain Fist!”
