Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

At this moment, the atmosphere was tense, a battle imminent.

Huang Xiaojuan kept drawing circles on the ground with her right foot as she charged forward.

Meanwhile, the assistant retreated, striking a pose of White Crane Spreads Its Wings.

As he backed away, the assistant suddenly had a thought. Why should he, a man, be afraid of a woman? Moreover, he was a level-ten cultivator.

Thus, the assistant stopped and took two steps forward. He puffed out his chest, lifted his head, and said to Huang Xiaojuan, ”Huang Xiaojuan, what are you trying to do? Are you actually going to hit me?”

Huang Xiaojuan continued drawing circles on the ground, pressing closer step by step. ”The victor is crowned king, and the vanquished is branded a villain,” she said. ”One must be willing to accept the consequences of their wager. Since you tried to sow discord between Brother Zhao Rong and me, you must pay a heavy price…”

Hearing this, the assistant burst out laughing. ”A woman like you wants to teach me a lesson? That’s hilarious!”

Huang Xiaojuan chuckled. ”If you don’t believe how strong I am, feel free to try me.”

The assistant clenched his fists, refusing to back down. ”Try me then! Who’s afraid of who?”

Even though I didn’t get to expose Zhao Rong today, teaching his girl, Huang Xiaojuan, a lesson will be a good way to vent my frustration, he thought.

So, the assistant warned her, ”Huang Xiaojuan, don’t push me. I may be very strong and highly skilled in Martial Arts, but I never hit women…”

Huang Xiaojuan sneered, ”Then just don’t think of me as a woman.”

The assistant gasped. ”Fine! Then I’ll beat you as if you were a man!”

Just as Huang Xiaojuan and the assistant were about to clash, Zhao Rong, who couldn’t wait any longer at the foot bath parlor, used Instant Teleportation and arrived on the scene.

When Zhao Rong saw Huang Xiaojuan fighting with the assistant, his jaw dropped in astonishment.

How can that beast, the assistant, hit a woman?

Just as Zhao Rong was about to step in and help Huang Xiaojuan, he was stunned to realize that the strong, lecherous, level-ten cultivator assistant seemed to be no match for the slender Huang Xiaojuan.

With every move, Huang Xiaojuan forced the assistant to retreat continuously. While backing away, he clearly no longer had the strength to fight back.

Sure enough, in the blink of an eye, Huang Xiaojuan drew one last circle on the ground with her right foot, leaped into the air, and kicked the assistant square in the face, sending him flying a full five zhang away.

Knocked to the ground, the assistant wiped the dirt from his bleeding face and said wretchedly, ”Huang Xiaojuan, aren’t you just a woman who does rhythmic gymnastics? How can you be so strong?”

After felling him, Huang Xiaojuan grabbed him by the collar and lifted him up. ”Assistant,” she said with a laugh, ”you should never underestimate us women, especially those of us who practice rhythmic gymnastics. We all have divine skills protecting us and are masters of martial arts…”

As she spoke, she delivered two resounding slaps across the assistant’s face, then followed with a spinning flying kick that sent him flying once more.

The assistant slammed heavily onto the ground, struggling to catch his breath.

”Huang Xiaojuan, Granny Huang, I was truly wrong,” he said through the pain. ”When you were drawing circles on the ground, I thought you might have cerebral thrombosis, so I didn’t take you seriously. I never expected you to be so incredible, to beat me, a level-ten cultivator, until I was searching for my teeth on the ground… Huang Xiaojuan, I was wrong. I was a fool who failed to recognize greatness. I apologize…”

Seeing that the assistant was apologizing, Huang Xiaojuan relented.

Even so, she continued to warn him. ”Assistant, I’ll tell you the truth: I’ve really taken a liking to your Brother Zhao Rong. So, from now on, don’t you ever think about interfering with my romance with him. And don’t even think about being a spy for Miss Lili and the beauties Yu Lan and Xuelian. Otherwise, I’ll beat you until you’re crying for your parents, in a state where you can neither live nor die.”

Wiping his nosebleed and patting the dust from his clothes, the assistant nodded frantically. ”Granny Huang, you’re truly formidable. Whatever you say, goes…”

Only when she saw the assistant had completely submitted did Huang Xiaojuan turn and leave.

Hiding in the shadows, Zhao Rong was utterly dumbfounded by what he had just witnessed. He had never imagined that Huang Xiaojuan, the beautiful woman he had casually met at the martial arts club today, could be so powerful. She was so strong she seemed less like a woman and more like a man.

「That evening」

After his date with Huang Xiaojuan, Zhao Rong returned to the dormitory to find the assistant lying on his bed, covered in blood. His face was swollen and bruised, his arms were injured, and his toes were broken.

Considering how the assistant had tattled to the three women and worked against him today, Zhao Rong had originally planned on teaching him another lesson. However, seeing his pitiful state, he was struck by a wave of compassion.

Zhao Rong decided to go over to comfort him and apply some medicine to his wounds.

But before he could even get close, the terrified assistant scrambled off the bed and immediately began to kowtow and beg for mercy.

”Brother Zhao Rong, please spare me! The truth is, I was just too jealous of you today. That’s why I went to Miss Lili, the beauty Yu Lan, and the beauty Xuelian to report on you. I wanted them to hurt you a little and stop your date with that beauty, Huang Xiaojuan…”

Before the assistant could even finish his apology, Zhao Rong, being the bigger man, magnanimously forgave him. ”Forget it. Seeing how miserable you look, I’ll let it slide this time… But don’t let there be a next time.”

With that, Zhao Rong took out some iodine and alcohol and began cleaning the assistant’s wounds, after which he applied some Yunnan Baiyao.

When the assistant saw that despite his betrayal and scheming, Zhao Rong still treated him like a brother, he was immediately moved to tears.

Sobbing, he hugged Zhao Rong and repented, ”Brother Zhao Rong, you’re truly a man of great magnanimity. I was so awful to you, yet you’re still so good to me…”

Seeing his sincere tears, Zhao Rong comforted him, ”It’s alright, it’s alright. We’re all part of the same team. Even if you betray me or prank me, I’ll always consider you my brother.”

Hearing Zhao Rong forgive his past transgressions, the assistant wept even harder.

He gave his word to Zhao Rong, ”Brother Zhao Rong, I promise, from this day forward, I will never be jealous of you again. I finally understand something. I know why Miss Lili, the beauty Yu Lan, and the beauty Xuelian all like you so much but look down on me. It’s because you, Brother Zhao Rong, have a noble character, excellent morals, and an impeccable reputation. I, on the other hand, am not as good as you; I even have some darkness in my heart. Heaven is fair. When Heaven sees a man of noble character like you, it arranges for many beautiful women to fall for you. Even women who’ve never met you will like you once they do. But when Heaven sees a despicable man like me, it arranges for women to hate me. Even the women I meet around here all despise me…”

Seeing how emotional the assistant was, Zhao Rong finished applying the medicine and said, ”Assistant, you have to believe that the heavens are always watching what people do. Good will be rewarded with good, and evil with evil. It’s not that retribution doesn’t come; it’s just a matter of time. Therefore, in this life, you must strive to be an honest, kind, and compassionate person. You must try to help others. Only then can you achieve true virtue and receive Heaven’s aid.”

Listening to Zhao Rong, the assistant nodded in understanding. ”Brother Zhao Rong, you’re right. I, your assistant, swear that from now on, I will use you as my role model and strive to be an honest, good man.”

After a moment, the assistant looked at Zhao Rong curiously. ”Brother Zhao Rong, didn’t you just tell me to be a good man? Then why are you going on a date with Huang Xiaojuan from the rhythmic gymnastics department behind the backs of Miss Lili, the beauty Yu Lan, and the beauty Xuelian—three super-beauties who adore you?”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong stepped closer and lowered his voice. ”Assistant, do you know the real reason I approached Huang Xiaojuan?”

An image of Huang Xiaojuan’s D-cups flashed through the assistant’s mind. ”Why else?” he said. ”Obviously, it’s because Huang Xiaojuan is so… well-endowed.”

Zhao Rong shook his head with a frown. ”Assistant, have you not noticed that Huang Xiaojuan is actually a man?”

The assistant’s eyes widened, and his mouth fell open in disbelief. ”Brother Zhao Rong, what are you saying? Huang Xiaojuan is such a beautiful woman! She’s a gymnast with such a great figure! How could she possibly be a man?”

Zhao Rong pulled the latest piece of technology from his pocket, a gender detector, and showed it to the assistant. ”Not only is Huang Xiaojuan a man, but according to reliable sources, he is also the right-hand man of Lu Xiaoqiang, the corporate spy we’re looking for.”

The assistant’s eyes darted back and forth. ”Brother Zhao Rong, are you saying that when Lu Xiaoqiang came to the Sports College, he didn’t come alone? He brought his trusted aide, Huang Xiaojuan, with him?”

Zhao Rong held the gender detector up for the assistant to see. ”You’re right. The corporate spy Lu Xiaoqiang came to the Sports College with his right-hand man, Huang Xiaojuan, and both of them have had plastic surgery.”

The assistant guessed, ”Brother Zhao Rong, you mean Lu Xiaoqiang had surgery to make himself taller, handsomer, and fairer… while Huang Xiaojuan had surgery to turn himself from a man into a woman?”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong gave him a thumbs-up and nodded. ”Assistant, you guessed it. That’s exactly what happened.”

With that, Zhao Rong showed him the latest technology in his hand, a gender detector, and pointed to the text on its liquid crystal screen.

”Look, I used this to discreetly test Huang Xiaojuan’s gender,” he said. ”The results confirmed it: Huang Xiaojuan is indeed a man.”

When the assistant saw the screen display the gender as ”Male,” he became intensely interested in the device.

”Brother Zhao Rong, where did you buy this gender detector?” he asked curiously. He then took the device and aimed it at his own body to check his gender.
