Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

When the assistant saw Zhao Rong suddenly vanish from the front passenger seat, he immediately took out his phone, opened the Douyu livestreaming app, and said, ”To all my fans, take a look, everybody! People all over the world are searching for those with Special Abilities, and a good friend of mine, Brother Zhao Rong, has them. Pay attention, everyone. He was sitting right here, and then suddenly he was gone! What kind of power is that? It’s the ability to come and go without a trace…”

Xuelian, surprised, then pulled a DNA tracking detector from her bag. ”Brother Zhao Rong,” she said, ”no matter where you run off to, as long as I have this gadget, I can locate and find you…”

As she spoke, Xuelian turned to the assistant and asked, ”Do you have any of Zhao Rong’s DNA?”

The assistant, however, was engrossed in his livestream and ignored her completely. He spoke into his phone’s camera, ”Fans, hurry up and send some gifts! Wait a bit, and when my friend returns to his seat, I’ll show you all what a person with Special Abilities looks like and just how ridiculously awesome he is!”

Seeing that the assistant was ignoring her, Xuelian rapped him on the head. ”Hey! Zhao Rong is gone and you’re still messing with your livestream? Hurry up and give me some of his DNA. I need to find him!”

Rubbing his throbbing head, the assistant whined, ”A fan was just about to send me a rocket! Because you interrupted, he only sent an airplane…”

Furious, Xuelian punched the assistant in the nose, causing it to bleed profusely. ”I asked if you have any of Zhao Rong’s DNA!” she yelled. ”I need to find him, do you hear me? This is your last warning!”

While wiping the blood from his nose, the assistant took a pack of tissues from his bag and handed it to her. ”Xuelian, take this. It definitely has Zhao Rong’s DNA on it.”

Xuelian took the pack of tissues, looked at it in her hand, and asked, ”Are you sure this has his DNA on it?”

Continuing his livestream, the assistant reassured her, ”I guarantee it. That pack of tissues absolutely has Zhao Rong’s DNA on it.”

Xuelian placed a tissue into the DNA tracking detector and asked curiously, ”How can you be so sure this has his DNA?”

The assistant laughed. ”Zhao Rong has a habit. Every morning when he wakes up, he sneaks into the bathroom. He says he’s taking a dump, but he’s actually… you know. And since we only have this one roll of tissue in our dorm… well, Xuelian, you get the picture.”

Hearing this, Xuelian held the tissue pack with a look of disgust. ”I don’t even know what to say. You men are so crude…”

Suddenly, when Xuelian put the tissue into the DNA tracking detector, it emitted a sharp BEEP and displayed a QR code. After she scanned the code with her phone, a mobile app immediately downloaded. Once the app opened, she saw a red dot on the map moving along with her.

Xuelian was puzzled. Looking from her phone to the inside of the car, she murmured, ”Zhao Rong definitely disappeared, and he’s not in the car with us. So why is the dot moving along with us?”

The assistant was also stunned. He immediately ventured a guess, ”Could Brother Zhao Rong have climbed into the trunk? Otherwise, how could he be moving with us?”

Hearing the assistant speculate that Zhao Rong might be in the trunk, the driver blushed and stammered, ”That young man… why would he go into my trunk of all places? I… I took a chance and bought an inflatable… thing… today. I thought no one would know, but I can’t believe he found it right after I bought it! By the way, you have to tell him to keep this a secret for me. My wife can absolutely not find out, or I’ll really be in for it!”

While they were all guessing Zhao Rong’s whereabouts, a figure suddenly stood up on the roof of the pursuing Mercedes. The person was smiling and waving at the assistant and Xuelian.

When Xuelian saw that the person on the Mercedes was none other than Brother Zhao Rong, she dropped her phone in shock. ”Look! Brother Zhao Rong is on the enemy’s car!”

The assistant’s mouth fell open in disbelief. ”Don’t tell me… when he jumped out of our car, he landed on theirs?”

A look of pure admiration crossed the driver’s face. He glanced at the rearview mirror and said, ”I’ve been a driver for thirty years, and I’ve never seen anyone so badass. I’ve really met a living legend today.”

Zhao Rong shouted back to them, ”Lili and Yu Lan are in this car!”

With that, Zhao Rong pulled a miniature electric saw from his pocket, preparing to cut through the car’s roof and jump into the cabin.

At that moment, the two kidnappers inside the cabin were bantering. The masked one looked at the Bi Guandi F3 ahead and laughed. ”As long as we stay on them, there’s no way our Mercedes can’t run that Bi Guandi F3 taxi off the road.”

The kidnapper with the pistol nodded and laughed heartily. ”These people are complete idiots. They walked right into the boss’s trap.”

The masked kidnapper said, ”The boss is a damn genius. He knew Zhao Rong’s group would grab a taxi to chase us, so he had us pretend to flee. Once they took the bait, we were to turn around and hunt them down until we flattened their car and killed everyone inside.”

The two kidnappers exchanged a look and then burst into uproarious laughter.

Just then, the masked kidnapper heard a grinding sound, like someone cutting through the car’s metal frame. He looked around, frowning. ”Damn it, what’s that noise? It sounds like someone is cutting through the roof of our Mercedes.”

The kidnapper with the pistol shook his head. ”Boss, you must be hearing things. We’re going too fast. No one could get onto the roof of this Mercedes unless they were some kind of god.”

The masked kidnapper laughed heartily. ”You’re right. Not even a god could get on our roof.”

The two kidnappers looked at each other and laughed again, then floored the accelerator, bearing down on the Bi Guandi F3 taxi.

Just as the Mercedes SUV was about to ram the Bi Guandi F3 taxi, a figure dropped from above, landing squarely inside the cabin.

When the two kidnappers saw a man suddenly sitting between them, they could only stare, dumbfounded.

Still driving, the masked kidnapper stared at Zhao Rong. ”Mister, where did you come from? Are you a man or a ghost?”

The other kidnapper, scared witless, dropped his pistol to the floor. Staring at Zhao Rong with his mouth agape, he stammered, ”Where did you come from? How did you get in our car?”

Zhao Rong just smiled at them before knocking out the man with the gun with a single punch. He snatched the pistol and aimed it at the masked driver. ”Slow down. Pull over to the side of the road. Now.”

With the gun pointed at his head, the masked kidnapper was scared out of his wits. ”Mister, who are you? How did you suddenly appear in the cabin of our Mercedes SUV?”

Zhao Rong smashed the butt of the gun against the kidnapper’s head. ”The name’s Zhao Rong.”

Hearing the name, the masked kidnapper was stunned. ”Oh my god, no way,” he said in disbelief. ”Weren’t you in that Bi Guandi F3 taxi ahead of us? How did you suddenly end up in my cabin?”

Zhao Rong slapped the kidnapper across the face and pointed to the roadside. ”Less talk. Park the car. Now.”

The masked kidnapper meekly pulled the car over.

Meanwhile, inside the taxi, Xuelian, the driver, and the assistant saw Zhao Rong subdue the two kidnappers in the Mercedes and erupted in cheers, high-fiving each other.

The taxi driver pulled up alongside them and said, ”I had no idea. That young man who was in my passenger seat is a real superman.”

Xuelian rolled down the window and called out to Zhao Rong, ”Brother Zhao Rong, I knew you were the best! You really worked a miracle today!”

The assistant, filled with genuine admiration, added, ”Brother Zhao Rong, now I get why so many beautiful women fall for you and are willing to give you anything. It’s because you’re a true man, a real hero. I can’t even compare.”

As the taxi stopped, Xuelian and the assistant jumped out and rushed toward the Mercedes.

Inside the Mercedes, once the masked kidnapper had stopped the car, Zhao Rong kicked him out onto the road. The man fell to the ground, and as he tried to get up, Zhao Rong jumped down from the car and kicked him down again.

At that moment, Xuelian and the assistant ran up. They pounced on the masked man, yelling, ”Take off your mask! We want to see who you are!”

But Zhao Rong did it himself, ripping the mask from the kidnapper’s face.

When the three of them saw the kidnapper’s true face, they froze in disbelief. Staring at him, they all exclaimed, ”How could it be you?”

The assistant glared at the man, his teeth clenched. ”I never would have imagined that you were a kidnapper.”

Xuelian’s eyes went wide with shock. ”You hid yourself so well. Thank god Brother Zhao Rong found you out.”
