Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

38: Killing you would be as easy as turning your hand; come and fight if you don’t believe me.At that moment, a young couple next door curiously opened their door and peeked out. Yao Peng and Shan Liqiang immediately rushed over.

The young couple reacted quickly, quickly pulling back and closing their security door.

”Listen up, people inside! Hand over all your food, or I’ll chop down these two doors, kill you, and then loot everything.” Yao Peng thought that shouting this would surely scare the people inside into obediently handing over all their food.

Unexpectedly, the inner door suddenly opened, and a long, pointed iron rod shot out from the peephole, nearly piercing Yao Peng’s eye.

The man from the couple said in a sinister tone, ”You dare say that again? I’ve practiced Martial Arts for so many years and haven’t met a tough opponent yet. Believe me, I’ll skewer you two like kebabs! Get lost!”

”You just wait,” Yao Peng spat out a threat before turning and running. He had relied on the axe in his hand to muster the courage to kill, but he was just an ordinary person—how could he deal with a Trained Fighter?

After Yao Peng and the other left, the man inside snorted coldly. ”Trying to target us? They knocked on the wrong door.”

His wife said, ”But since they dared to come to our door with weapons and threaten us, they probably have someone backing them. What if it’s that Lü Tao who has connections in both the black and white worlds?”

The man wasn’t afraid at all. ”Then let him come. If it comes to that, being afraid won’t help. Don’t worry, wife. As long as I’m alive, I’ll protect you and the baby in your belly to the end.”

”Tsk, tsk, tsk! Don’t say things like that. All three of us must live well.” The woman quickly spat superstitiously a few times, hugging her husband’s arm with a worried expression.

The man was courageous, but without enough food, he was also worried. ”It’s just hard on you. With this Zombie siege happening, things are bound to be chaotic, and it’s frightening.”

”We don’t have much food either. For you and the baby, I want to take a risk.”

This frightened the woman. ”No, I know what you’re thinking. Yesterday, I saw you staring at the express delivery container on the road. But look around it—it’s surrounded by Zombies.”

”Even if your Martial Arts are top-notch, with so many Zombies, you’d be exhausted to death, let alone having to fight while carrying food. I beg you, don’t go.”

”Luckily, before the outbreak, because I was greedy, I secretly bought a lot of snacks and hid them in the cabinet. There’s still plenty of milk. I’ll drink only half a cup a day—slow and steady, so the baby won’t lack nutrition.”

”But...” The man looked at the container not far away, unwilling to give up. He knew very well that their food wouldn’t last long, especially since his wife needed nutritious food.

And after the baby is born, there would be many things to prepare: formula, diapers, baby clothes, and more. He thought the baby was only five months along and didn’t need preparation so early, but who would have thought—sigh~

The man glanced at the container again, sighed, and closed the door.

Little did he know, Si Nan had seen everything. Her beautiful eyes curved. ”You’re clever. Many people haven’t thought of the food inside express delivery containers yet.”

She thought about their room number, found the couple’s wechat in the Property Owner Group, took a screenshot and saved it, but didn’t actively add them—there was no need.

If fate brought them together, cooperation could be considered.

The fleeing Yao Peng and Shan Liqiang only dared to report the situation at Cui Qingqing’s house truthfully to Lü Tao, attaching photos of the bodies. But they didn’t dare mention that not only had they failed to loot the supplies across the way, but they had also encountered a tough opponent and been threatened in return.

After reporting to Lü Tao, they quickly planned their next target to loot—his immediate neighbors.

An hour later, Yao Peng and Shan Liqiang first knocked on the door of the neighbor on the right, looting that family’s food. That family was just cowardly, which spared them from being wiped out by the two.

The neighbor on the left, hearing the commotion, locked their door tightly and even moved tables and cabinets to block it. But since they didn’t have a security door, Yao Peng and Shan Liqiang forced their way in.

The entire family was wiped out, and all the food and valuables in the house were looted.

After Yao Peng and Shan Liqiang left, the cowardly family across the way felt angry and desperate. Without food, they couldn’t survive.

They took photos of the tragic scene at the neighbor’s house and posted them in the group, tagging Property Management to take action, while also urging other Property Owners to be cautious and take precautions in advance.

Immediately, the Property Owner Group exploded.

”Beasts! Such open-door killing and looting must be dealt with by Property Management. Where are the Property Management people? Where are the Security Department people? Come out!”

”Our situation is already extremely difficult. Why are our own people more beastly and terrifying than the Zombies outside?”

”Quickly, Security Department, speak up!”

”It’s all because of that Si Nan setting a bad example. If she hadn’t killed people from the start, how could this have happened? Si Nan, you deserve a terrible death.”

”Right, it’s her. If we all get looted, then we’ll go loot Si Nan’s stuff.”

”I support looting Si Nan’s stuff. I heard she stockpiled a lot of food beforehand, filling that Three-Story Villa—enough to eat for ten years and still not finish.”

”Now, let’s start a chain. Those who want to loot Si Nan’s supplies, join the chain quickly. Slow ones won’t be included.”

Well, instead of condemning Yao Peng and Shan Liqiang for killing and looting, everyone turned their guns entirely on Si Nan. In an instant, Si Nan became the public enemy of the entire community.

Si Nan had just made herself a lavish breakfast. She couldn’t bear to eat the ready-made food in her space, so she cooked while there was still electricity, water, and natural gas for convenience.

Before this, she had just finished exercising and was very hungry, so she cooked a few extra dishes. Unexpectedly, as she sat down to eat and opened her phone, she saw she had become the public enemy of the entire community, with over 100 people already joining the chain.

”Are you all crazy? The ones killing and looting are those two above. Did I ruthlessly go to anyone’s door with a Kitchen knife to kill someone? Did I go to any of your houses to loot your stuff? Instead of figuring out how to deal with those two beasts, you come to condemn me, an innocent person.”

”I killed Wang Meilan and the others because they wanted to kill me. If you’re not dead, you should know that for the past ten years, I haven’t lived here at all, but they never stopped criticizing, mocking, and insulting my family all those years. Were you all dead then?”

”Which of you spoke a single word of fairness for me and my deceased parents? You didn’t! Not a single one!”

”Now, uniting to deal with me is just about looting my supplies and occupying my house. Don’t hide your ugly faces behind slogans of justice to punish evil. You disgust me, Si Nan. If you have the guts, come at me!”

”Don’t blame me for not warning you: killing you is as easy as turning over my hand. Don’t believe me? Come and fight!”
