Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

26: The apocalypse has begun; kill the old hag first.Wang Meilan wasn’t the only one who wanted Si Nan dead. Look, the gossipy Property Owner from 102 shouted, ”Ah, Si Nan, you’ve gone too far! Let go of Meilan quickly! Security, where’s security? Hurry up, Si Nan is going to kill Meilan!”

Another well-dressed old man stepped forward and commanded Si Nan, ”Si Nan, have you gone berserk? Are you planning to massacre us neighbors too? Let go of Wang Meilan immediately!”

This man was Uncle Liu. He had been hiding in the crowd, enjoying the show. With Wang Meilan acting as the scapegoat, he naturally wouldn’t step out. Now that Wang Meilan was down, he stepped up in a relay effort to finish off Si Nan.

The others didn’t dare say anything. They had already been intimidated by Si Nan’s actions and immediately backed up three meters to watch the drama unfold after Si Nan jumped in.

”Property Owner, please release her immediately. You are all neighbors; there’s no need to be so vicious. Besides, you just hit me.” The security guard, whom Si Nan had kicked away, returned, his already unpleasant face darkening.

Not only had he refused to open the door for Si Nan earlier, but now he was inexplicably lecturing her, and he seemed intent on settling the score.

”Oh? You want to fight me? Fine, I’ll let go of the Old Hag then.” Si Nan glanced at the security guard and actually released her foot.

The security guard instantly felt powerful, believing this arrogant little Property Owner was afraid of him. But in the next second, he was utterly humiliated.

Wang Meilan had just managed to curse out, ”Fine! You little bitch, you dare step on my face? I’ll tear your—Ah!”

Suddenly, the military shovel in Si Nan’s hand moved, and with a ”thud,” Wang Meilan’s head rolled away.

”It’s time that filthy mouth of yours shut up.”

Si Nan picked up the blood-soaked military shovel used to kill Wang Meilan, looked at it with disdain, and calmly wiped the blood on Wang Meilan’s down jacket. Her gaze, cold and chilling, swept across the surroundings: ”The Apocalypse has begun. Why suppress yourself? Kill the Old Hag first.”

”Ah—” The crowd, finally realizing what had happened, immediately started screaming.

However, before the screams could subside, Si Nan grabbed the Gossiping Woman from 102 who was trying to flee. The military shovel swung out, slitting the Gossiping Woman’s throat. ”Wasn’t it satisfying calling me a mad dog just now? Trying to run now? Did I agree to that?”

”You?” The Gossiping Woman collapsed onto Wang Meilan’s corpse, unable to believe until her death that Si Nan dared to kill her in broad daylight.

”Ah, call the police! Quickly, call the police!” someone yelled at Si Nan. Even the security guard was too terrified to move; this was the first time he had ever witnessed such a scene.

”Run! Si Nan is crazy! She’s really gone on a killing spree!” Uncle Liu saw the situation was bad. If she killed Wang Meilan and the woman from 102—who had offended Si Nan—without hesitation, then he was also in grave danger.

Although he was old, he was still a man, and he ran quite fast, sprinting several meters away. But then, ”Thud!”

”On the brink of death, yet still trying to incite panic. I, as their daughter, will settle the debt you owe my parents.”

The large military shovel Si Nan threw struck Uncle Liu directly on the head. Uncle Liu’s tall body crashed heavily to the ground, terrifying the surrounding Property Owners, who immediately shrank behind the security guard and begged for mercy.

”Ah, we never harmed you! Please don’t kill us.”

Si Nan raised the military shovel, pointing it at everyone, her tone icy: ”Who else wants to call the police? You? Or you?”

Her military shovel pointed sequentially at the security guard and the other Property Owners.

”No, no, we were wrong.” The security guard, and everyone else, nodded frantically, their faces pale.

Only at this moment did they truly understand: the world had changed. The Si Nan before them was unconstrained, and whoever had the hardest fist was king.

”Hmph. I’m not afraid of you calling the police, anyway. If you don’t believe me, try calling. See if anyone at the police station answers your call. Will they send someone to arrest me?

Rest assured, I am not the ’berserker’ these three dead people claim I am. I’m actually not interested in killing. As long as you don’t provoke me, I absolutely won’t do anything to you.”

You’re lying! Not interested in killing, yet you killed three people in less than two minutes? But the terrified Property Owners and the security guard wouldn’t dare utter that thought.

Si Nan pointed at the corpses on the ground and said, ”These three people deserved to die, especially Wang Meilan. I haven’t lived in this community since my parents died in a car crash ten years ago.

Yet, Wang Meilan secretly found someone to reactivate my mother’s old phone number and had her daughter, Cui Qingqing, impersonate me to claim the community benefits that Property Management should have provided me over the past ten years.

I discovered this a week ago at the Property Management office. Instead of repenting, the mother and daughter pair insulted me, calling me stingy and petty.

I don’t care about the rice and oil, but her worst offense was using my mother, who has been dead for ten years!

And this dead Old Woman, who always echoed Wang Meilan and constantly spoke ill of me in the Property Owner group chat, should have died a long time ago.

And this Uncle Liu, who always resented my father for not giving his son free guidance on architectural knowledge and experience while he was alive, harbored hatred toward our entire family. Every single one of them deserved death.

Look outside yourselves. There are Zombies everywhere. The world has changed; the Apocalypse has arrived. You should worry about yourselves. How long do you think this iron gate can keep the Zombies out?”

After Si Nan finished speaking, she nudged Wang Meilan’s corpse aside with her toe and strode away, not sparing a glance for the horrified onlookers.

Without the warmth of the down jacket, and having just worked up a sweat killing a wave of Zombies, she was now very cold.

The surrounding Property Owners automatically cleared a path. Not a single person dared to stop her, especially seeing the two military shovels Si Nan was holding. They were terrified that Si Nan might get upset and swing a shovel at them.

Only after Si Nan had walked far away did those people dare to whisper, ”That Old Woman deserved to die. She was truly disgusting, not even sparing the dead.”

”So the rumors in the community were true—that Wang Meilan was a Convict. I didn’t believe it. How unlucky to live in the same community as such a petty and malicious Old Woman.”

”We always saw her and Uncle Liu gossiping in the group chat. If she knew anything about anyone’s family, she wouldn’t let it go. Throw their bodies out.”

The surrounding Property Owners pointed at Wang Meilan on the ground and cursed loudly. Human nature had already curdled right at the start of the Apocalypse. They seemed to be siding with Si Nan, but in reality, it was only for their own benefit.

Hmph, just you wait.

The beaten security guard watched Si Nan walk away, his right hand gripping the Baton on his waist. He fiercely spat out a mouthful of bloody phlegm toward Si Nan’s retreating back.

Si Nan returned home. The moment the Indestructible Gate closed, her tense body instantly relaxed. She had finally made it back.

She wasn’t afraid of the security guard or the Property Owners; she was afraid she wouldn’t be able to escape back in time.

Now, it was time to start the wonderful life of lying flat. Nobody knew how many years that would last.

She didn’t go straight to shower. Instead, she first washed her hands, turned on the tap, and filled the last few dozen large buckets with water while the supply hadn’t been contaminated yet.

This water was reserved for later use. If the well in the courtyard was also contaminated, this supply could be used for bathing and washing clothes.

As for drinking water, the bottled and mineral water in her spatial dimension was enough for several lifetimes.

She guessed that none of the residents in the community had thought of this yet.
