Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

4: Even if he’s pursuing her, this is progressing way too fast! After Si Nan finished getting her tetanus shot and had her finger re-bandaged, Luo Sen was already waiting for her. He was tall and well-built, standing by the window like a beautiful scenic view.

Especially with the sunlight outside the window dappling through the leaves onto him, making him look even more mysterious and captivating.

After ten years, he was radiant, handsome, and wealthy.

A scum like Gao Ming couldn’t even compare to him; there was absolutely no comparison. She must have been truly blind.

Si Nan thought Luo Sen would take her home, but when they arrived at her house, he moved several boxes out of the car. She glanced at them, saw they were medical supplies, and was suddenly overjoyed.

Oh right, his aunt is a renowned pharmaceutical research expert whom many hospitals can’t even manage to hire. If Luo Sen asked any hospital for a few boxes of medicine, they would be thrilled to provide them.

Before she could even thank Luo Sen, he shoved her back into the passenger seat and drove straight back to his own house.

Si Nan: ”---”

What does this mean?

Even if he’s pursuing her, isn’t this moving too fast?

Luo Sen’s cool voice suddenly sounded in her ear, ”I’ll have someone renovate your house for you at an internal price; it will be finished within 15 days. Send me any requests later. In the meantime, you’ll stay here and house-sit for me. I’m leaving on a business trip, but I’ll be back soon.”

Luo Sen didn’t give Si Nan a chance to speak, left the house key, turned, and walked away.

Si Nan ran after him, chasing, ”Why are you going on a business trip now? You need to hurry up and prepare supplies!”

”I’m leaving it to you.” Luo Sen directly handed her a Black Gold Card, leaving Si Nan in a cloud of exhaust fumes as he sped away.

”Luo Sen! Do you even believe me?” Si Nan stomped her foot in frustration.

Luo Sen watched the plump, pouting girl at the doorway through his rearview mirror, his thin lips curving slightly.

Si Nan quickly sent Luo Sen the list of renovations she had compiled and transferred five million in cash. Only when she turned around did she realize how extraordinary Luo Sen’s house was—the main gate seemed indestructible, the towering courtyard walls shimmered with silver light, and the interior walls were a sturdy, advanced, and aesthetically pleasing material she had never seen before.

She immediately left a message for Luo Sen: ”Hahaha, just renovate mine according to your house’s standards.”

Luo Sen’s house was modern and comfortable, so she didn’t stand on ceremony. She opened the fridge, grabbed a drink, chugged it down, and immediately grabbed her small backpack and headed to the nearby supermarket.

Now she had to stockpile not only for herself but also for Luo Sen, meaning she had to buy, buy, buy with all her might.

So, for one entire afternoon, she did nothing but sweep through the nearby supermarkets, finally managing to stockpile half a house worth of goods for Luo Sen.

Just as she sat down to rest, her Old Phone rang again. She saw it was an unfamiliar number and, thinking it was the bank, answered it. Gao Ming’s sinister roar immediately erupted from the speaker: ”Fine, if you want to break up, break up! But don’t you dare regret it and come back crying and begging me to reconcile!”

After roaring, Gao Ming immediately hung up.

”Beg you to reconcile? I wish I could kill you right now.” Si Nan scoffed, blacklisted all numbers related to Gao Ming, and decided that once she was rested, she would go buy a new phone and sweep the nearby stores.

She couldn’t go to the supermarkets nearby today; going again would arouse suspicion. She would go back in a couple of days. Anyway, A City was huge, and she could slowly expand her stockpiling range.

Meanwhile, after Gao Ming hung up, he shrugged it off. ”Just throwing a tantrum. You watch, she’ll be back crying and begging me within three days.”

His friend and colleague Xu Songquan laughed mockingly. ”Looks like you haven’t been sweet-talking her lately. Don’t tell me she actually grew a backbone this time.”

Before, she always worshipped you and obeyed your every command. What sudden stimulus made her actually break up with you?

”Hahaha, the way she served you like an ancestor, terrified she wouldn’t find another man without you—it’s hilarious, man.”

Instead of feeling embarrassed or defending Si Nan when his friend spoke about his girlfriend this way, Gao Ming doubled down and joined in the criticism. ”Exactly. Who do you think I am? I targeted her because she was an orphan craving affection, acting like an idiot, so I pretended to pursue her.”

”But looking at all that fat on her, I genuinely felt sick. I had zero interest in her, which is why I haven’t even held her hand to this day. I just used sweet words to trick her into being my free maid.”

”But this time, I’m too lazy to coax her. Coaxing people is exhausting, okay? I’m going to teach her a lesson so that when she comes back begging, I can control her even better.”

”But without her, we don’t have a ready-made cook and maid anymore,” Xu Songquan said, looking at the empty dining table and frowning. They hadn’t had a hot meal in two sittings.

Gao Ming stood up and grabbed his jacket. ”Forget it. Since she’s gone, we can finally eat something decent.”

”True. Let’s go have a feast.” The two of them, birds of a feather, went downstairs together.

Meanwhile, Si Nan ordered many items on her phone: 300 large water storage barrels, 100 boxes each of various flavors of instant noodles, ramen, buldak noodles, sausages, and self-heating meals, and she also bought a good number of handy weapons. She placed orders nonstop for an hour.

After finishing, she went to the kitchen to cook dinner, but aside from various drinks, the fridge had absolutely no ingredients. ”Well, Luo Sen probably eats at work.”

She had no choice but to take a box of instant noodles from her stockpile, use the water dispenser to make them, and then wash and chop two apples in the kitchen. After searching everywhere for a kitchen knife and failing, she retrieved the fruit knife that had cut her finger from her Space.

But when she took the fruit knife out and looked, the bloodstain was still fresh. ”Hmm? Does the Space have preservation capabilities?”

Delighted, she returned, opened the steaming bowl of instant noodles, and to verify her hypothesis, she tossed the noodles directly into the Space, then went to make another bowl.

After eating, she didn’t even stop to rest. She grabbed her small backpack and went out again.

In her words, she would have plenty of time to rest and enjoy good food a month from now.

Just as she ran out the main gate, she suddenly retreated. A cool pickup truck was parked in the corner of the yard. She guessed it must be Luo Sen’s work vehicle, inherited from his father, because her father used to have one too, though it wasn’t as cool and stylish as this one.

She walked over and opened the rear door. Sure enough, it was full of various tools. She was overjoyed. ”Perfect! Essential for stockpiling.”

She quickly moved all the tools out, emptied the bed, got in, and drove it around the yard for ten minutes to get a feel for it. The result: ”Very good!”

The neon lights outside flashed as she drove all the way to the phone store, clearing out all the bottled water, mineral water, and drinks from every small supermarket and convenience store along the way.

As she parked, her eyes lit up as she looked at a major bakery brand. ”I’ll come back and clear you out after I verify that the Space can preserve freshness.”

After getting out of the car, she headed straight for a branded phone store. Amidst the dazzling array of products, she told the staff directly, ”I want the best satellite phone.”
