Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

31: This is such a dilemma, which one should I cut first?Inside, Cui Fu looked at the top of the wall and cursed, ”How could this courtyard wall be built so high? It’s taller than both of us combined.”

I bet that little bitch Si Nan knew about the zombie virus outbreak beforehand. Otherwise, how could she have made preparations in advance?”

”Dad, let’s not worry about that for now. You saw it too; her courtyard walls are so high that we can’t climb in without a tall ladder. Should we just go back first?”

”Go back? To what? While the snow is heavy and no one can see us, hurry up and find a gap to enter the courtyard. I don’t believe her yard is a solid iron bucket.”

Cui Fu barked at his son-in-law, and the two of them circled Si Nan’s courtyard wall, searching inch by inch.

Inside the house, Si Nan ignored them and continued eating, enjoying her meal immensely. ”Hmm, so the killing starts now? It’s such a dilemma; whom should I kill first in a bit?”

She pulled the bowl of green vegetables in front of her, poking at the stalks one by one with her chopsticks, playing a counting game like a Child. ”Old thing? Young thing? Old thing? Young thing—Old thing!

Oh, what a coincidence. It’s you, you old thing Cui Fu. You’ve hit the jackpot. I’ll give you your reward as soon as I finish eating.”

Si Nan picked up the vegetable with a smile, put it in her mouth, and chewed hard.

Five minutes later, she put down her chopsticks, elegantly pulled out a tissue to wipe the grease from the corner of her mouth, and slowly went up to the third floor. She took an arrow, notched it, pressed the switch to open the bulletproof glass window, gripped her Compound Bow, aimed at Cui Fu who was wandering near her back gate, and fired with a ’whoosh’.

”What was that sound? Ah!” A shrill scream rang out through the blizzard.

”Hurry, look for it.” The patrolling security guards were immediately alerted and began searching everywhere, fearing that more zombies had climbed in.

The clever Huang Jianli saw that his father-in-law’s shoulder had been pierced by a professional arrow. Instead of going over to support Cui Fu, he instantly pressed his body against the courtyard wall.

After waiting for a while, he finally carried the fallen Cui Fu on his back and ran home.

Si Nan watched Huang Jianli flee with Cui Fu on his back without firing a second arrow. She wanted Cui Qingqing to see both of her parents die by her hands one after another, to see that expression of despair—full of hatred, annoyance, and utter helplessness.

She wanted Cui Qingqing to experience pain, despair, sorrow, and resentment; to have the couple scream and fight until they split, blackened, and killed each other.

This was much better than killing Cui Qingqing with a single arrow. Just thinking about it felt great.

Sure enough, when Huang Jianli brought the unconscious Cui Fu home, Cui Qingqing’s emotions collapsed at first sight. ”Ah, how did this happen? How was my dad injured by an arrow? Where did the arrow come from? Huang Jianli, you useless trash, how were you protecting my dad?”

*Slap!*

”Shut up, you dead woman. Calm down.”

Huang Jianli placed Cui Fu on the living room sofa and immediately slapped Cui Qingqing. This slap forced her to calm down completely. ”Quick, tell me, how exactly was my dad injured?”

Huang Jianli repeatedly grabbed tissues to wipe the blood from his hands, then crouched on the floor, clutching his head and crying. ”She has professional weapons. Dad was hit by her through the courtyard wall. You stupid woman, why did you have to provoke Si Nan for no reason? With such a heavy injury, Dad is beyond saving.”

”No, no, there must be a doctor in the community. As long as we can provide the food they want, we can definitely save Dad.”

”Don’t waste your effort. If you give away all the food, what will we eat? You’re not allowed to call.”

”Give me back my phone! Dad will die!”

”If he dies, he dies. Without food, we’ll die too.”

Huang Jianli snatched the phone from Cui Qingqing’s hand and threw it onto the sofa. This last sentence made Cui Qingqing calm down completely, and she began to blame herself frantically:

”It’s all me, it’s all me. Ten years ago, I shouldn’t have mentioned Si Nan’s benefits to Mom. I shouldn’t have been greedy for that little bit of rice and oil. If I hadn’t been greedy for those things, today’s events wouldn’t have happened, ah—”

”Oh? So you’re the mastermind. I was wondering how a pig-brain like Wang Meilan could think of so much. In that case, killing your old man and old lady isn’t a loss for me.”

Listening to Cui Qingqing’s self-reproachful wailing was like listening to heavenly music to Si Nan; she was extremely happy.

Cui Fu, on the sofa, was suddenly jolted awake by the pain. He didn’t want to die, so he waved his hands and called out to Huang Jianli and Cui Qingqing, ”Quick, send—send me to the hospital, hurry!”

”Dad? Have you gone senile? There are zombies everywhere outside; we can’t get out,” Cui Qingqing said, running over and crying.

”Then you’re just going to ignore me? I—I’m your father, pfft~” Before Cui Fu could finish his sentence, he sprayed a mouthful of fresh blood, splashing it all over the beige sofa. His eyes were wide with rage as he glared at Cui Qingqing in front of him.

”Ah!” Cui Qingqing screamed in terror, scrambling to throw herself into Huang Jianli’s arms.

Cui Fu was already at his last gasp on the sofa. He pointed at Cui Qingqing and Huang Jianli intermittently, ”You... you... ungrateful wolves.”

After cursing them, Cui Fu’s hand went limp. The power of the Compound Bow was immense; it had directly pierced his heart and lungs. It was already a miracle that he had lasted this long.

”Dad?” Cui Qingqing’s sharp, wailing cry let everyone in the community know that something must have happened at her house.

Both her parents had died within two days, and both were killed by Si Nan alone. Heartbroken, Cui Qingqing picked up her phone and posted a bounty in the Property Owner Group:

”Si Nan just shot and killed my father. I will trade a box of instant noodles for Si Nan’s head.”

”Pfft~” Seeing the message, Si Nan spat out a mouthful of yogurt. ”Geez, I’m worth way too little. My head is only worth a box of instant noodles? Cui Qingqing, how about I lend you a thousand boxes? Hurry up and raise the price for me.”

If Cui Qingqing heard this, she would surely be steamed to death.

Si Nan also kept a close eye on her phone screen; she wanted to see if anyone dared to take the job. The messages that followed were all filled with surprise and discussion, mostly calling her cold-blooded and ruthless, while others didn’t believe it.

However, no one took the job.

Suddenly, a pure black profile picture started flashing. There was no name or note indicating which unit or owner it was; the identity was intentionally hidden.

Knowing full well that Si Nan was in the Property Owner Group, this person audaciously tagged Cui Qingqing: ”I’ll take it! But I’m raising the price. I want two boxes of instant noodles and two bags of rice. Pay half first, and the rest after it’s done.”

Cui Qingqing was dying of excitement. ”Fine, it’s a deal. Come up and get the stuff.”

”2 minutes.”

Si Nan clicked on the black profile picture. The Moments were closed, and there were almost no clues to be found.

She asked the Security Sister, who said, ”I’ve never seen this person. Xiao Nan, be careful. I just checked the number of people in the group; there are over a dozen more than usual.

This Property Owner Group was originally meant only for owners in this community, so there were no barriers to entry. Looking at it now, maybe someone was let in on purpose.

But one thing I can guarantee is that this person is no good, and they are right here in the community.”

Si Nan narrowed her eyes. The person was in the community?
