Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

2: Wow, I’m actually that rich! After the apocalypse arrived, money became waste paper; even being a multi-millionaire was useless. She had to spend every penny, and she had to spend it wisely.

She had personally witnessed the aftermath of the apocalypse. After people held out for a month and food ran out, the zombies outside only increased in number. Many fought until they were bloodied for a single pack of instant noodles, and some even killed their own wives and children with their own hands.

When the apocalypse arrives, all morality and civilization cease to exist!

As long as one could live, as long as one could seize food to fill their belly, killing had become the most effective means of survival. And she, a month after the zombie outbreak, became the primary target of that scum and his accomplices.

In this life, they shouldn’t even think about it. She would sit on a house full of supplies and laugh as she watched the zombies tear those people apart one by one!

But the prerequisite was that she had to get money as soon as possible to renovate this small villa so that she would have the confidence to put up a fight.

As for hoarding massive amounts of goods, she wasn’t worried about that. In her previous life, Gao Ming lied to her, saying that as soon as their combined money was enough to buy a small school-district house in this bustling city, he would marry her immediately.

She was foolish enough to believe him. To buy a house sooner and marry Gao Ming, she worked a part-time job as a warehouse stocker at the Century Department Store, the city’s largest shopping center, behind his back.

Although it was physical labor and very exhausting, the pay for being on-call was high, and she could buy high-quality goods she usually couldn’t afford or wouldn’t spend money on.

Though most were clearance items, Century Department Store was a high-end shopping plaza; everything from luxury goods to embroidery needles were strictly selected, top-tier Grade-A products.

This was also what Gao Ming liked most about her. He thought she was being considerate of his hard work and loved him to death, which was why she didn’t mind spending money to buy so many good things to supplement his meals.

“In this life, I’m changing my fate against the heavens. Thank you for your deception.”

Si Nan howled at the sky, planning that when she went to stock goods again, she had to take a good look around that super invincible large warehouse. She knew that place well!

In the past, she always complained that the warehouse was too big; even though she was only responsible for the tip of the iceberg, she was exhausted to death.

She was incredibly happy now. As long as she emptied one food section, it would be enough for her to eat for ten years. But the problem was she couldn’t act now; once she did, she would be caught, and prison wouldn’t stop the siege of zombies.

It seemed she could only act later. Anyway, when the zombies break out and the whole world falls, who would have the time to care about missing items? She’d just strike the night before. That was a super invincible large warehouse covering hundreds of acres, with everything one could possibly need inside.

“Yes, that’s what I’ll do. Also, the underground warehouse of the small villa needs to be cleared out as soon as possible to stack supplies.”

Si Nan was concentrating on her planning. She reached for a pen but missed, grabbing a fruit knife instead. It cut three of her fingers at once, and fresh blood flowed down her palm toward her wrist. “No way, a bloody disaster on the first day of rebirth? Don’t let it go to waste.”

She picked up her phone and took a terrifying close-up of her bloody fingers, sending it directly to her manager to request a month’s leave. Afterward, she went to look for a first-aid kit, but it hadn’t been lived in for ten years, and the things inside were long since unusable. Just as she was looking for tissues, the bracelet her mother left her on her wrist suddenly emitted a blinding light.

The next second, a vast world appeared in her mind. It was a white expanse, like a boundless super warehouse, or like a quiet, vast ocean.

“What is this? Am I having hallucinations? Glaucoma?” Si Nan didn’t understand and rubbed her eyes hard; the vast world before her suddenly disappeared.

She thought back to the scene just now, and the vast world appeared before her eyes again. She screamed in surprise, “This—could this be the legendary Storage Space? A prize that comes with rebirth? Hahaha, quick, quick, let’s test it.”

Si Nan didn’t care if her fingers were bleeding or not. She waved at the fruit knife that had cut her finger, and the next second, the fruit knife was gone.

She hurriedly looked into the space. Sure enough, the fruit knife was there, appearing as small as a black dot at the tip of a needle.

She thought about taking the fruit knife out, and the next second, the fruit knife appeared in her hand.

“Hahaha, great! With this treasure, I can quietly stockpile a large amount of supplies. I will definitely be able to survive the apocalypse!”

Si Nan spun around in place with joy and hurried into the bathroom to wash her bleeding hand. When she looked in the mirror, the bracelet was clearly on her wrist, but it was invisible.

“My god, it even has a built-in cloaking function. This is beyond amazing, it perfectly fits the principle of not flaunting one’s wealth.” Si Nan was overjoyed. Usually, this bracelet didn’t look like much, with an exterior like copper, and for that, her colleagues had mocked her plenty.

But she liked it because wearing it felt like her mother was still around.

This time, she could empty that underground warehouse of Century Department Store, which stored tens of billions worth of supplies, with her eyes closed. Hahaha—no, it’s still far from enough. In her previous life, she died early and didn’t know how long the zombie period lasted. She had to store as many supplies as possible.

But the most urgent thing right now: “Money, money, money! How can I get money immediately? Wait a minute, I still have two sums of money!”

Si Nan suddenly remembered and hurried to rummage through the cabinets. Her parents had bought a Growth Fund for her when she was born, and it had been available for withdrawal for a long time.

The other sum was the huge compensation from her parents’ death that she hated the most; it was still sitting in a low-risk wealth management account at the bank.

In the safe in her parents’ room, Si Nan not only found her Growth Fund contract but also found another Personal Accident Insurance policy for her parents. She quickly grabbed all her identification documents and rushed out the door.

After getting off the vehicle, Si Nan first went to a small pharmacy next to the bank to bandage her hand. While she was at it, she bought all the anti-inflammatories, fever reducers, cold medicines, antibiotics, and any other medicine—whether oral or topical—that the pharmacy had.

Because of this, the pharmacy staff thought she was crazy; even if one was afraid of death, there was no need for this.

Si Nan didn’t care what others thought of her. Carrying many bags of medicine, she found a deserted corner to put them into her space and then went to the bank. “I want to redeem these three sums of money. It’s an emergency!”

“Alright, please wait a moment.” The bank employee didn’t think much of her at first glance because Si Nan was dressed very simply and was carrying a canvas bag.

Once she scanned Si Nan’s ID card, she was so startled that she hurriedly called the manager.

“Ma-Manager, come quickly! There’s a Miss Si who wants to redeem three huge sums of money, totaling over twenty million—”

After some negotiation and processing with the bank manager, Si Nan successfully got those three sums of money back. After walking out of the bank, Si Nan herself was stunned. “Holy crap, I’m actually this rich. I’m totally a hidden little rich woman!”

Thinking that she now had the money to upgrade the small villa, she hurried back. The manager who had just served her was still there. “Excuse me, do you know any decoration companies that build top-tier safe houses?”

“The very powerful kind, the kind that can build a solid fortress that won’t fall apart even in a magnitude ten earthquake and where no one will die. Hehehe, I’m a single beautiful girl and want to renovate a strong house.”

The manager: “...”

As expected, rich young ladies all have some... special hobbies!
