Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

36: Hmph, Si Nan’s fate will be torn apart by five horses. He was wrapped up tightly, and he had even changed his down jacket, so Si Nan didn’t recognize him at first.

Having just obtained a box of instant noodles and a ten-kilogram bag of rice, there was no way he could have finished them so quickly. This meant the man was a repeat offender; he was hoarding food.

He must have started looting from the very first day of the Apocalypse yesterday. This man’s reactions were too quick; he knew he wouldn’t survive without supplies. So, while everyone still had food, hadn’t fully realized the truth of the Apocalypse, and were still dreaming that the relevant departments would come to save them, he hurried to plunder food.

Si Nan had already aimed at the man. ”Very well. Since you’ve formed a gang and set your sights on me, then don’t even think about leaving.”

Swoosh!

Thud!

Ah!

An arrow hit the man’s skull dead center. The man fell at the sound, followed by the second, third, and fourth person.

”Ah, run! She has a lethal weapon!” The remaining two were very clever; they hugged the courtyard wall and took the opportunity to escape. Only when they reached a corner and were hidden by other houses did they dare to look back at the four corpses of their companions lying on the ground.

”No, Si Nan is not someone we can deal with,” one of them said.

”You mean...?” The other immediately understood.

The two looked at each other and said in unison, ”Go find Lü Tao. He’s always wanted to get his hands on Si Nan. Besides, as the richest man in this community with connections in both the legal and illegal worlds, he definitely has a gun.”

”That’s something a girl like Si Nan can’t get. You can tell from the fact that she was just firing arrows that she’s also afraid.”

”Think about it. Our Seaside Luxury Villa community has a total of 26 units. Units A, B, C, and D, the first ten units, are detached small villas, while the latter twenty units, K, L, M, and N, are all high-rises with over thirty floors. There are more than 7,000 households, and the total population adds up to tens of thousands. Even if you cut out half for women, the elderly, and Children, there are still at least ten thousand adult men.”

”Exactly. Even if Si Nan is incredibly capable and prepared a lot of small arrows, she can’t kill that many people. Moreover, the more she kills, the more enemies she makes. If everyone in our community joins forces against her alone, humph, Si Nan’s end will be being drawn and quartered.”

”What’s being drawn and quartered? If you throw a living person outside now, they’ll be torn to pieces by a swarm of Zombies in an instant. Being eaten alive is even more terrifying than being drawn and quartered.”

”Hahaha, isn’t that the truth? I’ve seen several with my own eyes. Let’s go.”

The two added Lü Tao as a friend while walking back and then waited quietly. However, they had been sitting at home for an hour, and Lü Tao still hadn’t accepted their friend request. Out of necessity, they had no choice but to @ Lü Tao in the group.

But Lü Tao still didn’t give them the time of day. At this moment, Lü Tao was working hard, and had no time to pay attention to two insignificant commoners.

It wasn’t until Lü Tao was finished that he picked up his phone and glanced at it. Seeing that someone had added him, he opened it to take a look, and a single sentence made him accept the friend request.

The verification messages from both of them were exactly the same: ’I have the latest news about Si Nan.’

”It worked.” The two were ecstatic, nearly collapsing the sofa as they jumped. They went straight to being bootlickers.

”Young Master Lü, it’s the honor of three lifetimes to be on your wechat friend list.”

”Spit it out. I’m still waiting to go back to sleep with my Beauty.”

”Yes, yes, Young Master Lü. Just two hours ago, the six of us went to study Si Nan’s courtyard wall together. Our intention was to verify if the rumors in the group about her building an indestructible wall were true.”

”Who would have thought? We just reached her courtyard gate and tried it with a Kitchen knife. It’s real. With one strike, her wall was fine, but the Kitchen knife snapped in two.”

”All six of us were shocked. Before we could react, a sudden sharp arrow pierced someone’s head.”

”In less than 30 seconds, four of us were shot dead by her. The two of us barely managed to escape.”

”Young Master Lü, you must never provoke Si Nan. That little girl is too terrifying. She’s a dangerous person with a Bow and arrow, and she’s incredibly ruthless, killing without blinking an eye.”

However, Lü Tao’s eyes lit up upon hearing this, and he burst out laughing. ”Hahaha! As expected of the woman I’ve set my sights on. She’s ruthless enough, spicy enough, and has enough character. Fine, since you two know which way the wind blows and brought this Young Master good news, I won’t kill you in the future.”

”Yes, yes, thank you, Young Master Lü! My name is Yao Peng, I live in Unit D 101 next door to you. Shan Liqiang is my best friend; he happened to be over when the virus broke out.”

Shan Liqiang hurriedly greeted Lü Tao, ”Thank you, Master Lü. Does this mean Young Master Lü is willing to take us in as underlings?”

The two were overjoyed; they had successfully sought refuge with the strongest backer.

Lü Tao immediately created a small group for the three of them and replied unhurriedly, ”Don’t be in such a hurry to thank me. If you want to run with me, you have to show some sincerity that I can appreciate.”

Yao Peng and Shan Liqiang were momentarily stunned. As expected, Lü Tao wasn’t someone easily fooled. ”Uh, then we don’t know what kind of sincerity Young Master Lü likes? Is it beauties or...?”

Lü Tao snorted coldly. ”I’m not picky. Beauties and food are both fine—the more, the better. It depends on your ability.”

”Fine! Since Young Master Lü thinks highly of us brothers, we won’t disappoint you. Just you wait and see.” Yao Peng made up his mind, knowing what he should do next.

They had known since Si Nan boldly hunted down Wang Meilan and the other two that the peaceful order had been broken. This community would soon lose its surface-level tranquility.

Suddenly, he thought of something and immediately added, ”By the way, Young Master Lü, Si Nan seems to have known in advance that the virus would break out.”

Lü Tao, who was about to put down his phone, saw this sentence, and the smile on his face vanished instantly. He sat up abruptly in shock. ”What did you say? Si Nan knew this terrifying virus would break out? How could she know? Are you sure?”

Lü Tao’s expression shifted from shock to annoyance, then immediately to bloodthirsty killing intent. It changed several times in just one second, terrifying the Beauty beside him, who quickly shrunk into the covers.

That Beauty wasn’t a fool either. Lü Tao was notoriously fickle but very generous. She only wanted to take a shortcut, make a fortune, and leave. She had looked into Lü Tao beforehand; he would play with a woman twice at most before getting bored and dismissing her with some money.

But she was too unlucky. Just after she had gone through so much trouble to hook up with Lü Tao, the damn virus broke out. She couldn’t go anywhere now. If she didn’t please Lü Tao, she would surely die.

Just now, hearing that Lü Tao wanted to go after Si Nan, her heart went cold. Once he succeeded, she really wouldn’t be able to survive.

Now that Lü Tao was filled with killing intent, she was even more afraid.

Then she heard Yao Peng send a voice message: ”Young Master Lü, I’m sure! Cui Qingqing mentioned it before too. But the strange thing is, Cui Qingqing hasn’t come out to curse Si Nan again. I suspect Cui Qingqing has already been killed by Si Nan.”

”As for exactly how Si Nan killed Cui Qingqing, I’ll only know after I go to Cui Qingqing’s house to ask. It’s still too early; I’ll head over there in a bit.”
