Urban Martial Saint

The Earl couldn’t understand Northern Martial Zen’s Huaxia language, and similarly, Northern Martial Zen couldn’t understand the Earl’s English. Hearing the Earl shout angrily and rush over, Northern Martial Zen couldn’t help but feel a wave of distress. While dodging, he anxiously said, ”What’s wrong with you? Do you really want to draw out the Seven Steering Committees of Hong Alliance? I’m telling you, Great General Helian Tiehua is currently stationed in Humeng City. If he gets involved, neither of us will leave here alive. I’m fine since I’m a Huaxia countryman, but you, a foreigner, trying to covet our Huaxia’s things, Helian Tiehua will definitely kill you himself!”

Northern Martial Zen was very clear that the experts gathering around Humeng City were definitely coming for the Sun Shooting Bow. For such people, the Seven Steering Committees of Hong Alliance would not be polite to you. If caught, being expelled from Humeng City would be a good outcome; otherwise, you might even lose your life here.

Moreover, this Earl was obviously a foreigner, not a Huaxia person at all. If he were really caught by the Seven Steering Committees of Hong Alliance, he would definitely face severe punishment. In comparison, if a Huaxia martial artist really came to snatch the Sun Shooting Bow, it would still be an internal affair of Huaxia people. But if you, a foreigner, come to seize it, the nature of the act is different, and the Seven Steering Committees of Hong Alliance would surely not be lenient to such foreigners.

Northern Martial Zen was exploiting this point to mention Helian Tiehua from the Seven Steering Committees, hoping to scare off the Earl. However, the Earl himself was extremely arrogant and didn’t regard the Huaxia martial artists at all, so why would he care about these things? Besides, the Earl couldn’t understand Huaxia language at all, so Northern Martial Zen’s threats were useless. The other party didn’t even understand what he was saying, so what was the point of threatening?

Northern Martial Zen was filled with frustration, but he didn’t dare to be careless against this Earl. The two engaged each other in a chaotic fight, neither able to overcome the other, and the scene was once again locked in a stalemate.

Meanwhile, at the place where Northern Martial Zen just killed the two men, a few more people arrived. These were also foreigners, but compared to the previous group, their attire was more normal. They were all dressed in casual clothing, without concealing their faces or anything. Moreover, they looked normal, completely unlike the previous group’s bizarre appearance.

Nevertheless, these people stopped there. The man at the forefront walked directly to the place where the bodies of the two men were lying, looked around, and then turned his head saying, ”Bishop, the signal came from here just now; I can sense those two men’s aura.”

Bishop? Could this group include the bishop mentioned by those people earlier?

Among the group behind, the person standing in the center nodded and said in a deep voice, ”Where is Count Tony?”

Judging by appearances, this person seemed to be the bishop they were referring to. This man looked around fifty or sixty years old, with graying hair, but every hair was combed neatly without a strand out of place. His hair was as tidy as Old Wang Ba’s, except that compared to Old Wang Ba, this bishop had a holy aura. While Old Wang Ba seemed purely like a Sleazy Man!

”They’ve also come here...” The man stood still, slightly closed his eyes, appearing to sense something. After a while, he suddenly turned and pointed in the direction where Northern Martial Zen and the Earl were fighting, saying, ”Count Tony’s group went that way!”

”Chase!” The bishop said decisively, without any hesitation.

The group immediately rushed in the direction the man pointed to, running for about ten minutes, faint sounds of fighting could be heard from ahead.

Hearing the sounds of battle, the group was invigorated. Especially the leading bishop, who frowned tightly as he looked in the direction of the fight.

The two fighting in front were Northern Martial Zen and the Earl. The two had been entangled here for a long time, neither able to get the upper hand. Northern Martial Zen kept trying to escape, but the Earl was relentless, giving him no opportunity to break free, causing Northern Martial Zen to be anxious, fearing more people would surround them, which would be troublesome. Thus, he was vigilantly watching his surroundings.

When the bishop’s group approached, Northern Martial Zen had already noticed them. However, they were too far away, and it was very dark, so he couldn’t see the bishop’s group clearly, nor judge if they were friends or foes. But having others come over at this time was concerning for him. What if they turned out to be enemies? Therefore, Northern Martial Zen began to contemplate how to escape.

Northern Martial Zen didn’t know the identities of these people, but the Earl was different. His eyesight seemed better in the dark, as if he could see things more clearly, and he immediately recognized their identities. A flash of hatred appeared on his face, indicating some enmity towards these people as well.

When the bishop saw the identities of the two fighting, and recognized one of them as the Earl, a gleam of brilliance appeared in his eyes. Without a word, he quickened his pace and rushed in that direction.

The bishop’s speed wasn’t very fast, evidently slower than the Earl’s. However, his steps were steady, indicating that the bishop’s strength should be quite powerful, probably surpassing that of the Earl.

The place where Northern Martial Zen and the Earl were fighting was less than two kilometers from the bishop. This distance was insignificant for martial artists. Before long, the bishop arrived at the scene.

The Bishop first looked around and saw that only two men were standing nearby. He immediately frowned slightly and said in a deep voice, ”Count Tony, what happened? Wasn’t Baron T Colin with you? Why isn’t he here?”

The Bishop spoke in English, which Northern Martial Zen couldn’t understand at all. However, upon hearing English, Northern Martial Zen almost spat out blood. He was just wondering who had arrived, and now it was clear that the newcomers were on the same side as the Count. Furthermore, judging by the Bishop’s speed and power from his earlier approach, his strength was certainly not inferior to that of the Count.

With one Count, Northern Martial Zen could barely fight to a draw. Now, with the addition of an equally strong Bishop, how could Northern Martial Zen cope?

”Open up for me!” Northern Martial Zen shouted loudly, suddenly exerting all his strength, and charged straight at the Count, clearly aiming for a mutually damaging battle.

Upon seeing the Bishop arrive, the Count naturally wouldn’t fight desperately. Seeing Northern Martial Zen charging at him like this, he immediately stepped aside, intending to avoid Northern Martial Zen. However, this time he miscalculated. Northern Martial Zen hadn’t planned to fight desperately but simply wanted to force him back.

Seeing the Count retreat, Northern Martial Zen seized the opportunity and turned to sprint madly in another direction. With two great masters on the opposing side, he had no choice but to run for his life; otherwise, he would leave his life here.

The Count didn’t expect Northern Martial Zen to flee like that, was momentarily stunned, and immediately let out a roar, chasing after him, not even having time to answer the Bishop.

The Bishop was even more shocked. He turned to look at the two men nearby and said grimly, ”What on earth happened?”

One of the men immediately replied respectfully, ”This Huaxia person killed the two people we sent to clear the roadblocks!”

”What!?” The Bishop’s face changed, and he let out a roar, also directly chasing after Northern Martial Zen.

Northern Martial Zen was very fast, but compared to the Count, his speed was somewhat lacking. Having not run far, the Count had already caught up behind him and swung a fist toward his back.

Northern Martial Zen felt the gust of wind behind him, was startled, and quickly sidestepped two steps to avoid the blow. Meanwhile, the Count rushed in front of him, blocking him again, and they resumed their melee.

Being blocked by the Count, Northern Martial Zen was extremely distressed. He intended to escape, but now it seemed there was no chance of escaping.

The Count and Northern Martial Zen fought for a moment before the Bishop also caught up. He leaped up, jumping four or five meters high, and charged at Northern Martial Zen from mid-air. With his hands quickly drawing a cross in the air, he shouted, ”Holy Retribution!”

Northern Martial Zen couldn’t understand what the Bishop was saying, but the intense momentum above his head still shocked him. He quickly wanted to retreat, but the Count stood nearby, tightly blocking him, leaving him no room to back off. Seeing the Bishop about to pounce down, Northern Martial Zen had no escape. With a roar, he forcefully pushed his palms upward, using all his strength to meet the Bishop’s blow, having completely lost focus on the Count beside him.

The two men’s speeds were extremely fast, and the onlookers around only heard a thunderous crash as the two palms clashed. Northern Martial Zen’s feet immediately created two pits under him, while the Bishop was knocked back, landed on the ground, and took three steps back before stabilizing himself, showing the strong power of both. In this exchange, they could be said to be evenly matched, with neither gaining the upper hand.

But in fact, Northern Martial Zen was still at a disadvantage. Although he caught the Bishop’s blow, he couldn’t guard against the Count beside him. The Count managed to tear out two large gashes in his abdomen, causing blood to gush out.

If it weren’t for Northern Martial Zen’s formidable strength and the True Qi surging within him that blocked the Count’s attack, his intestines might have been pulled out. Nonetheless, even so, this blow left Northern Martial Zen seriously injured.

”Huff...” Northern Martial Zen clutched his abdomen, staggered back a step, and gritted his teeth as he looked at the Count and the Bishop, speaking in a deep voice, ”I have no enmity with you, do you have to force me to death like this? Humph, do you really think that with just a few of you, you can kill me, Northern Martial Zen?”
