Urban Martial Saint

The atmosphere in the room was awkwardly ambiguous. The beauty of the girl in his arms was not much inferior to Huangfu Ziyu and Shen Qingyi, making it hard for anyone to resist.

Ye Qing himself felt extremely awkward, seeing Yelu Ying like this now. Trying to persuade her seemed quite difficult. How could he change her mind? This was indeed a troublesome matter.

Moreover, the most critical thing was that the two Tomb Guarding Elders made it very clear. If Ye Qing didn’t marry Yelu Ying, he couldn’t inherit the Yelu family’s legacy. And if he didn’t inherit the Yelu family’s legacy, then these two Tomb Guarding Elders had to, according to the ancestral teachings, either kill Ye Qing to silence him or attack the Yelu family and completely seal off the ancestral tomb of the Yelu family. This situation also placed Ye Qing in a dilemma.

If those two Tomb Guarding Elders only intended to kill Ye Qing, that would be fine. With Ye Qing’s ability, even if he couldn’t win, he could still run. But in this situation, Ye Qing couldn’t even run away. If he ran, those two Tomb Guarding Elders would definitely kill the people of the Yelu family, and Ye Qing couldn’t let the Yelu family members die in vain for this matter.

This situation put Ye Qing in a bind; he felt extremely frustrated. If he had known earlier, he wouldn’t have accepted the Yelu family’s legacy. Now he found himself trapped, and all of this was caused by that old fellow Old Wang Ba.

Thinking of Old Wang Ba, Ye Qing couldn’t help but grit his teeth in anger. Not only did this old guy set him up, but he still hadn’t told him about Huangfu Ziyu’s matters. He had originally agreed to tell Ye Qing about Huangfu Ziyu after Ye Qing rescued the Yelu family members. Now, after so long, Ye Qing still knew nothing and instead found himself in such a difficult situation. This old guy made him want to drag him over and subject him to the top ten tortures of the Qing Dynasty.

”Miss Yelu, we’ll talk about this later.” After a long silence, Ye Qing softly said, ”The urgent thing now is to get you settled safely so that the people of the Wanyan Family don’t catch up. How about you go back and rest for now, and we’ll discuss this later, okay?”

Yelu Ying sighed softly and slowly released Ye Qing from her embrace, murmuring, ”Big Brother Ye, until this matter is resolved, we will stay with you.”

”How can that be right?” Ye Qing quickly protested, ”You’re all girls; you should find a safe place to stay instead of coming out into danger. The things I have to do recently are very dangerous, and I can’t let you take such risks with me!”

”Big Brother Ye, the Yelu family has come this far, so what danger does it matter anymore?” Yelu Ying said, ”Our lives were saved by you. If it weren’t for you, we would have died long ago and wouldn’t be here now. No matter what happens, no matter what danger there might be, we will face it together with you!”

After finishing, Yelu Ying slowly stepped back, looking sadly at Ye Qing, and whispered, ”Big Brother Ye, I’m staying right next door. If... if you want to find me, just come over…”

Saying this, Yelu Ying’s face turned crimson, not daring to look at Ye Qing any longer, and quickly turned and walked out of the room.

Watching Yelu Ying leave, Ye Qing finally breathed a long sigh of relief. To be honest, being alone in a room with Yelu Ying was indeed very awkward. The atmosphere made his nerves tense, afraid that if he lost control and something unexpected happened, it would be hard to explain.

Ye Qing walked to the bed, lay down fully clothed, exhausted from a long and hectic day. He fell into a deep sleep shortly after lying down.

After sleeping for less than an hour, there suddenly came a faint cry for help from outside. Ye Qing jolted awake, springing up from the bed. He heard clearly that it was the voice of a Yelu family girl.

Why would a cry for help come at this time? What happened to her?

Ye Qing was filled with surprise and dared not act rashly. He listened carefully, paying close attention to the sounds outside.

The cry for help outside only sounded once and didn’t continue. Now there was only the sound of footsteps, many people seemed to be walking in the corridor.

Ye Qing’s heart was in suspense, clearly understanding what such noises outside signified. This was Meng District’s territory; ordinary people wouldn’t cause trouble here. So, in all likelihood, it must be people from the Wanyan Family who had caught up!

Ye Qing no longer had time to think why Prince Wan Yan would be so bold as to cause trouble on Meng District’s turf. Instinct told him that this time Prince Wan Yan must have come in person. In other words, Prince Wan Yan was most likely waiting outside. Under these circumstances, rescuing the Yelu family wasn’t going to be easy!

In the less than a minute Ye Qing was pondering, two footsteps were already approaching his doorway; it seemed the Wanyan Family was preparing to capture him.

Ye Qing quickly stepped back, walked to the window, and pulled open the curtains to look outside. By now, the day had broken, but there weren’t many people on the street. Three cars were parked downstairs, and three people stood by the cars, looking up at him.

These three also noticed Ye Qing; one of them immediately pointed at Ye Qing and shouted loudly, ”My lord, he’s here!”

Ye Qing didn’t have time to retreat, and Prince Wan Yan rushed out directly into the hotel lobby, coincidentally seeing Ye Qing standing on the third floor.

”Ye Qing, long time no see!” Prince Wan Yan’s eyes were filled with a murderous glint, and with a roar, he took a running start and leapt toward Ye Qing.

Ye Qing’s room was on the third floor, about six meters from the ground. With a single leap, Prince Wan Yan jumped more than three meters and grabbed the edge of the second-floor balcony.

Ye Qing had never witnessed such top-level master’s light body skill and was taken aback by the height Prince Wan Yan reached. However, he did not hesitate at all, quickly drew the curtains, and turned to run to the door.

Outside the door, two people were trying to break in. Ye Qing rushed over, pulled the door open, and a man stumbled straight into the room.

”Ye Qing! Ye Qing!” The man saw Ye Qing and immediately reached out to grab him.

Ye Qing did not dodge, rushed in head-on, and as the man was about to grab him, he reversed the move, twisting the man’s wrist and dislocating it.

”Ah!” the man screamed in agony, barely having time to retreat before Ye Qing seized him by the shoulder, lifting him like a ragdoll and hurled him toward the window.

”Oh my god!” The man panicked, fearing he would fall straight out of the building.

However, before he hit the window, the curtains were suddenly pulled back, and Prince Wan Yan appeared right in the window’s position.

Prince Wan Yan had just climbed up from below, and didn’t expect to see someone coming at him. Unable to see who it was, he instinctively struck out with his palm, knocking the man to the ground, who spat out fresh blood, suffering internal injuries.

By this time, Ye Qing had already left the room, and the hallway echoed with screams, a sign that he was already fighting with Prince Wan Yan’s men.

Hearing the commotion outside, Prince Wan Yan couldn’t help but frown tightly. From the last incident when Ye Qing injured Wan Yan Ming, he knew Ye Qing’s strength had grown significantly. The men he brought were no match for Ye Qing!

”Ye Qing, dare you fight me one on one!” Prince Wan Yan roared, rushing out of the room. As soon as he stepped out, another person was thrown at him.

This time, having learned his lesson, Prince Wan Yan did not strike but instead caught the person, intending to lay him down. But just as he grabbed him, he suddenly felt something amiss, a chill spreading over his wrist.

”Get away!” Prince Wan Yan shouted furiously, and at the critical moment, he hurled the person away with all his might.

Despite his quick reaction and swift actions, Prince Wan Yan was still a step too late. As he flung the person away, he felt a sharp pain in his wrist. Looking down, he saw a deep cut on his wrist, with blood gushing out and soon staining his sleeve red.

At this point, Prince Wan Yan finally saw clearly the person from before. It wasn’t one of his men, but Ye Qing, who held a blood-stained dagger, Wu Hong Dagger!

Earlier, Ye Qing had indeed taken down several of Prince Wan Yan’s men in the corridor. But this time, instead of throwing someone at Prince Wan Yan, he had jumped over himself. Inside the room, having suffered a loss, Prince Wan Yan mistakenly thought he was a comrade, trying to catch Ye Qing, while Ye Qing took the opportunity to slash his wrist with the dagger.

In truth, it was largely due to Prince Wan Yan being too strong and reacting too quickly. Ye Qing had intended to stab his heart but only managed to cut his wrist.

Furious at being wounded, Prince Wan Yan glared at Ye Qing, gritting his teeth and shouting, ”Ye, you despicable scoundrel. Do you think you can hurt me with such base tricks? Hmph, I’m telling you, the gap in strength between us is an unbridgeable chasm. You are destined to always be my defeated opponent!”

Ye Qing took a couple steps back, coldly saying, ”Prince Wan Yan, your strength may be formidable, but so what? There are plenty who can kill you in this world. By stepping into General Helian’s territory today, do you think he’ll let you go? And if anything happens to me, Southern Fist King Shen Tianjun will never let you off!”

Prince Wan Yan coldly laughed, ”Hmph, Helian Tiehua is busy preparing for the war with the Twelve Green Halls; he has no time to deal with my affairs. As for Shen Tianjun, he’s preoccupied with matters at Medicine King Mountain. Do you really think he’ll have time to avenge you?”
