Urban Martial Saint

”Just now I told you about the situation inside the ancestral tomb, now I need to discuss the three matters I mentioned earlier.” The elder looked at Ye Qing and said, ”To inherit the Yelu family’s legacy, the first thing you must do, and the most crucial, is to become a close relative of the Yelu family.”

”What do you mean?” Ye Qing widened his eyes, suddenly feeling an ominous premonition.

The elder said, ”This is a family rule. I think it means you should marry a girl from the Yelu family and become their son-in-law!”

”What kind of joke is this!” Ye Qing almost spat blood. How could this be? He had already pledged his life to Huangfu Ziyu, how could he marry someone else? Moreover, if it weren’t for being with Huangfu Ziyu, he would want to marry Shen Qingyi. As for a girl from the Yelu family, he had never thought about it!

”This is a lineage rule, no joke.” The elder said, ”I believe when Yelu Tianji’s ancestor left this rule, he wanted to safeguard the Yelu family’s descendants. Becoming a close relative of the Yelu family allows you to regard the Yelu family as your own, making it possible to protect them and everything belonging to them!”

”Young Ye, you always say I’m screwing you over, do you see now how good of a person Eighth Master is?” Old Wang Ba laughed slyly from the side, ”A fine pair of riches and beauty, you’re getting a huge win. Not only do you inherit the family’s ancestral tomb, but you also marry the family’s girl. Even I feel like taking up such a good thing myself.”

If there weren’t so many people in the car, Ye Qing would have liked to kick Old Wang Ba out directly. Old Wang Ba knows his situation best, yet he still speaks sarcastically here. Isn’t this deliberately messing with him? Now, Huangfu Ziyu couldn’t be found, Ye Qing felt full of guilt towards Shen Qingyi, and now this issue came up. Could anyone bear it?

”This... this may not be possible.” Ye Qing shook his head and said, ”I already have a beloved, I won’t marry anyone else. So, I’m afraid I can’t inherit the Yelu family’s legacy. Why don’t you find someone more suitable?”

”Mr. Ye, you’ve already heard many secrets of the Yelu family. If you don’t inherit the Yelu family legacy, we only have two choices!” The elder coldly glanced at Ye Qing and said, ”Either we kill you to reclaim this secret.”

Ye Qing felt a chill in his heart, his eyebrows slightly furrowing, had this matter escalated to such a height?

”Hell, with what you said, why do I feel a chill down my neck?” Old Wang Ba said anxiously, ”Young Ye, don’t refuse this. I just heard them talking, truly if they want to kill you, I might have to accompany you to the grave, better consent than resist.”

”Aren’t there two choices?” Ye Qing asked the two elders, ”What’s the second option?”

The elder looked at Ye Qing and said, ”The second choice is for us to kill all remaining women of the Yelu family and completely seal the Yelu Family Ancestral Tomb, ensuring no one can open it even if the secret leaks!”

Ye Qing fell silent, this second option was even more unreliable than the first. The Yelu family only had these women left, Ye Qing certainly wouldn’t let them be killed. But, the situation was distressing, either he dies, or the Yelu family’s women die, there’s no other choice.

”Mr. Ye, I’ve heard from Eighth Master about your affair with Miss Huangfu.” Wu Changming sighed lightly, softly saying, ”Actually, perhaps we don’t need many titles. If possible, let the eldest miss be your concubine...”

If other men heard this, they’d surely be excited. But in Ye Qing’s ears, it nearly drove him to collapse, what is all this?

”Mr. Wu, what era is this, still talking about concubines?” Ye Qing said helplessly.

”But there’s no choice now!” Wu Changming said, ”Mr. Ye, if you truly don’t want to, we won’t force you. Alas, perhaps this truly is the end of the Yelu family. Ancestor, the servant is powerless, unable to preserve the Yelu family, I... will come down to apologize to you!”

With that, Wu Changming suddenly turned and hit the car window, creating a wound on his head, and blood poured out.

”Mr. Wu, what are you doing!” Ye Qing hurriedly jumped out of the car, ran over to stop Wu Changming, and urgently said, ”Don’t be impulsive!”

”Mr. Ye, don’t stop me!” Wu Changming continued struggling and shouting, ”The family has reached this point, it’s truly the end. Let the remaining women self-destruct. I... might as well die, I have no face left to live!”

Wu Changming struggled to hit the wall, while the two elders showed no intention of stopping him, only Ye Qing was there blocking.

Old Wang Ba had a gleeful look on his face, watching the drama unfold, he kept saying from the sidelines, ”Oh dear, I think you better let him go. With his state, better to let him die swiftly. Young Ye, they shared such a big secret with you, yet you want to regret, could that be right? No consent from you, where else could they go, except facing death?”

Ye Qing felt his head spinning, had he known things would be so complicated, he would have outright refused. Now matters reached this point, he was completely in hot water. Either marry a girl from the Yelu family or watch their demise, there was no accurate choice.

After mulling over for a while, Ye Qing eventually tapped Wu Changming’s pressure point, controlling him and stabilizing the situation for now. He glanced at the two elders ahead and sighed, ”Can I take some time to consider this?”

”Consideration is allowed, but...” one elder said, ”The secret of the ancestral tomb must not spread, otherwise we would have to kill all Yelu family members to lock it down.”

Ye Qing was speechless, these two elders didn’t resemble Yelu family members at all, they looked like Yelu family’s antagonists, threatening to silence at every turn.

”Mr. Wu, I’ll consider this matter first. The immediate concern is rescuing the Yelu family members.” Ye Qing checked his watch, ”It’s already twelve o’clock, I need to quickly find a way to save them. Miss Yelu and others are being held at Wan Yan Manor, the longer they are detained, the more dangerous it gets, we cannot delay!”

”Alright then!” Wu Changming slumped in the back, a look of despair in his eyes, he appeared not to have emerged from the previous sorrow.

Ye Qing too felt helpless, he genuinely found this matter difficult. He said to consider, but where was there room for consideration in this matter? He couldn’t possibly betray Huangfu Ziyu, but then what about the Yelu family members?

With his mind a mess, it took Ye Qing some time to regain calmness, and by then he had reached the outskirts of Jin Village, outside Wan Yan Manor.

Previously Ye Qing had entered Wan Yan Manor, so he was familiar with the inside situation, knowing where to go in. Coming this time, he didn’t need to reconnoiter the area, making actions much smoother.

First, he parked the vehicle in a secluded area outside the village, a place hardly visited by people, so nobody would notice the car parked here. This way, after rescuing them, Ye Qing could directly get the car and leave.

Settling the vehicle, Ye Qing then changed into a black outfit, silently moving to the outside of Wan Yan Manor. He still chose to climb the wall like last time to enter Wan Yan Manor, only through there was it convenient to infiltrate.

However, upon reaching there, Ye Qing suddenly realized more guards were added. The place where he climbed last time now had two people guarding it, indicating Wan Yan Manor also knew it was vulnerable and paid extra attention here.

With Ye Qing’s current strength, dealing with the two guards wasn’t difficult. But this was Wan Yan Manor, filled with Wan Yan family members. Ye Qing dared not alarm them, if disturbances arose, forget about rescuing others, even his escape would be uncertain.

Thus, Ye Qing didn’t take risks entering there, instead, he chose another place. Although the grass fields inside Wan Yan Manor were dangerous, now Ye Qing was equipped with new skills making a few meters’ leap manageable.

Jumping into Wan Yan Manor, Ye Qing immediately ran into the flower bed ahead to hide. Luckily, Wan Yan Manor was massive, Wan Yan family couldn’t cover all security. Hence in the flower bed, Ye Qing wasn’t discovered. He moved along the flower bed and rockeries, utilizing darkness for cover, reaching near the Sky Prison of Wan Yan family in under ten minutes.

Previously, Ye Qing entered the Sky Prison to save Handsome Fatty Wang, and also unexpectedly rescued Wolf Monk and Bai Li Xi. Ye Qing was familiar with the Sky Prison layout, unchanged except for a few more guards at the entrance, otherwise, nothing else differed.

Standing guard at the entrance now were two guards, whereas the last time Ye Qing came, there were none. As for how many guards were inside the Sky Prison, that’s uncertain, but it undoubtedly wouldn’t be fewer than before.

Ye Qing had expected increased guards here, considering Yelu family members were imprisoned now, Wan Yan family would certainly safeguard the area. With preparations made, Ye Qing hid behind a building opposite the Sky Prison, stealthily pulling a wooden box from his person, slowly opening it, and letting out a few Poisonous Bees.
