Urban Martial Saint

The baron rushed past Ye Qing, directly scratching Ye Qing’s arm, and his right hand was stained with quite a bit of Ye Qing’s blood.

Ye Qing’s face changed dramatically after the attack. He had long known that the baron was not simple, but he did not expect this baron to be so terrifying, so fast that he couldn’t react at all. Thankfully, Ye Qing had learned some Carefree Movement, which had significantly increased his speed. Otherwise, his arm might have been torn off.

This made Ye Qing even more vigilant. He stared intently at the baron, with both feet ready, always prepared to use the Tiangang Beidou Step Technique to dodge the baron’s attack. In fact, Ye Qing was well aware that the power of his Tiangang Beidou Step Technique was far from enough to avoid the baron, because the baron’s speed was simply too fast, able to change attack direction at any moment.

However, after the baron’s successful attack, he did not prepare for another attack on Ye Qing. Instead, he slowly raised his arm, bringing the blood-stained fingers to his mouth, and greedily licked the blood clean with his crimson tongue, then smacked his lips, his face twisted with excitement, saying, ”This is the most delicious blood I’ve ever tasted in my life. The blood even has a herbal aroma, it’s truly perfect!”

Ye Qing was stunned on the side. It was one thing for these three men to be bizarre, as Ye Qing had seen many strange sorcerers and had long been used to it. But the current situation was beyond Ye Qing’s imagination. This baron had a preference for drinking blood? What was this, a monster?

The baron ignored Ye Qing’s astonishment, looking at him excitedly, ”I never expected to find such delicious blood in Huaxia. It seems that this trip was definitely worth it. Haha, Huaxia person, you truly excite me!”

Ye Qing nearly retched; he gritted his teeth and said, ”You make me feel sick!”

”Hahaha...” the baron laughed loudly, pointing at Ye Qing, ”Don’t worry, soon you won’t feel sick at all. Once I’ve drained all your blood, you won’t feel anything!”

”Once I kill you, I won’t feel sick either!” Ye Qing countered fiercely.

”Kill me? Hahaha, Huaxia person, you really overestimate yourself!” The baron laughed loudly, suddenly surged again, and lunged towards Ye Qing. This time, his target was more precise, aiming to grab Ye Qing’s neck.

Ye Qing concentrated all his attention to fend off the baron’s move. But when the baron made his move, Ye Qing was nearly devastated. The baron’s speed was simply too fast, completely beyond Ye Qing’s ability to dodge. No matter where Ye Qing tried to dodge, the baron could always catch up, and Ye Qing surely couldn’t escape from his grasp.

Seeing the baron about to reach him, Ye Qing suddenly shouted out, avoiding nothing, and unexpectedly dove straight to the ground.

The baron was always on alert, prepared to chase down Ye Qing in any direction he fled. But he never expected Ye Qing to dive to the ground, which caught him off guard and unable to turn back to attack in time.

At this moment, Ye Qing seized the opportunity, grabbing a box hidden in his clothes. As he reached inside his clothes, he opened the box lid, and then with a flip, jumped up and turned to throw the box at the baron.

By this time, the baron had just rushed over, reaching out to grab Ye Qing’s neck. At the same time, he opened his mouth, revealing long, beast-like fangs, attempting to bite Ye Qing’s neck. Judging by the situation, he clearly intended to drain Ye Qing’s blood.

However, before he could bite Ye Qing, the box in Ye Qing’s hand was already about to smash into his face. The baron’s speed was extremely fast too, raising his other hand just in time, smashing into the box Ye Qing held, breaking it into pieces.

Seeing the box shattered, Ye Qing immediately swung the Wu Hong Dagger in his hand, desperately hacking at the baron’s wrist.

The baron had seen the man earlier get his throat cut by Ye Qing with the Wu Hong Dagger, knowing the dagger was not ordinary, so he dared not take it head-on and had to let go. At this moment, Ye Qing also took the opportunity to retreat without any hesitation.

”Where do you think you’re going?” the baron roared, about to chase Ye Qing. But before he could move, a sudden buzzing sound came from behind him.

The Baron turned his head in surprise, only to see a swarm of poisonous bees rushing towards him at an extremely high speed. The Baron was momentarily stunned, not yet understanding what was happening, when a poisonous bee lunged at his hand and viciously stung the back of his hand.

These poisonous bees were specifically collected by Ye Qing the last time he dealt with Master Naikun. These bees were poisonous insects personally trained by Master Naikun, with extremely strong venom, and had always been kept by Ye Qing as a secret weapon. They were used once when rescuing the Yelu family, but only a few were used that time. This time, faced with this Baron, Ye Qing was truly no match and had no choice but to use these poisonous bees.

The poisonous bees were usually kept in a box. Earlier, Ye Qing had taken out the box, and it was smashed by the Baron, releasing the poisonous bees. These bees had very strong attack power, and since their dwelling was destroyed, they naturally began attacking the Baron immediately upon release.

Stung by the bees, the Baron instantly cried out in pain, jumping around wildly as if he had gone mad. The power of these bees was truly terrifying. Sorcerers in Nanyang, though they often refined poisons and had resistance to them, would still succumb quickly when stung by these bees. Even though the Baron was formidable, he could not withstand being stung by them.

The most crucial part was, the initial bee wasn’t the only one. After the Baron was stung by one, the remaining bees also swarmed in, with three or five stinging him, almost costing him his life. He was jumping around at first, but in the end, he rolled on the ground, trying to shake off the bees, clearly showing how intense the pain was.

Ye Qing watched from a distance, holding his Wu Hong Dagger, and seeing the Baron screaming and rolling on the ground, he knew his opportunity had arrived. Seizing the chance, he lunged forward, raising the dagger and stabbing it towards the Baron’s heart.

Though the Baron was rolling on the ground, he still retained a shred of awareness. Seeing Ye Qing approaching, he quickly reached out to grab Ye Qing’s arm, hurriedly trying to prevent him. However, stopping Ye Qing meant he couldn’t fend off the bees, and a swarm of them came over, stinging his face multiple times, causing the Baron to shriek miserably, his voice eerily like a ghost’s wail.

The other man watched all of this from the side, but didn’t dare come over to help. He saw the poisonous bees and understood the Baron turned out this way because of them. Knowing how strong the Baron was, and seeing him in such agony, he didn’t need to think twice. Helping might not save the Baron, and he feared he would fall victim too. The Baron could handle so many bees, but even one might be enough to topple him.

No one came to help the Baron, and the bees kept swarming. Before long, the Baron was stung by over twenty bees, and his cries gradually turned to groans. The hand clutching Ye Qing’s arm lost strength, eventually drooping down, leaving him half dead.

Entangled with the Baron, the bees didn’t attack Ye Qing. Ye Qing carried Mu Ling, and perhaps it was due to this that the venomous creatures didn’t attack him. The Baron, however, swelled all over from the stings, his skin turning a dark azure, transforming into a venomous figure, showing the potency of the bees’ venom.

Yet, this Baron was truly resilient. Even stung to such a state, he wasn’t dead yet, just lying there gasping and moaning, the pain robbing him of his senses.

Ye Qing, showing no mercy, seized the opportunity and plunged the Wu Hong Dagger directly into the Baron’s chest. The Baron’s strength was terrifying, and his behavior strange, even having a habit of sucking blood, making it impossible for Ye Qing to let him live.

Having dealt with the Baron, Ye Qing immediately stood up and turned around to see that the other man had long since vanished. The man wasn’t foolish—seeing the Baron unable to resist, he knew the Baron was doomed. Without a second thought, he turned and fled, aware that staying would only mean meeting the same fate as his brother and the Baron, losing his life.

”Phew!” Ye Qing exhaled deeply but didn’t plan to chase the man. He stood up, wiped the blood off himself, and used another wooden box to collect the remaining bees. These bees were rare and very useful, so Ye Qing intended to keep them.

After tidying up, Ye Qing turned to look at the two bodies on the ground. He had already stripped off the outer garments, noticing that the other man not only had a mane on his head but also had considerable body hair, resembling a beast.

In contrast, the Baron appeared more normal, though his face was extremely pale and colorless. Fang-like teeth protruded from his mouth, making him look exceedingly fearsome and eerie.

Having heard the Baron speak, Ye Qing knew that he did not regard the Southeast Asian Sorcerers highly. This meant they weren’t allied with the sorcerers from Nanyang. This left Ye Qing puzzled—if these people weren’t from the sorcerers in Nanyang, then what was their true identity? Furthermore, how did they learn the method to transform human bodies into beastly forms?

Ye Qing was filled with doubts, but he knew that relying on himself alone would not uncover the answers. To find out these people’s true identity, he suspected he would have to consult the high-ranking officials of the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance.
