Urban Martial Saint

These two people, who seemed like beasts, kept Northern Martial Zen tightly entangled, and Northern Martial Zen couldn’t deal with them. These two had sharp claws and fought desperately, making Northern Martial Zen cautious. If caught by these claws, the outcome would be intestines spewed and guts rotted in moments!

After a long tussle, Northern Martial Zen still couldn’t knock these two down, but Ye Qing had already disappeared. On this vast grassland, once someone runs away, chasing them down becomes a difficult task.

”******, you two actually dare to ruin my plans!” Northern Martial Zen roared furiously, ”I’ll kill you both first!”

Since Ye Qing had disappeared, Northern Martial Zen no longer cared about him. He concentrated all his power, suddenly throwing one man seven or eight meters away, and then charged directly at the other.

This man extended his claws to grab Northern Martial Zen’s neck, but Northern Martial Zen pressed down on his claws, twisting downwards, intending to break the man’s wrist. However, the man’s body was incredibly resilient, and Northern Martial Zen failed to break his wrist immediately, causing the man to howl in pain instead.

The man who was thrown away heard the commotion and immediately turned around, sprinting wildly to attack Northern Martial Zen from behind.

”Ha!” Northern Martial Zen roared fiercely, grabbing the front man’s claws and lifting him up like a weapon, swinging him straight at the man behind.

That man did not expect Northern Martial Zen to be so formidable, hurriedly trying to retreat, but it was too late, and he was heavily knocked away by his comrade’s body, finally stopping when he struck a large rock far away.

Having knocked down the second man, Northern Martial Zen immediately grabbed the man’s throat in front of him, delivering a heavy punch to his left shoulder.

This punch was with all Northern Martial Zen’s strength. Although the man was resilient, he couldn’t withstand such absolute power, and his arm was dislocated by one punch, dropping limply.

Northern Martial Zen didn’t hesitate, punching again, dislocating the man’s other arm. Then, he threw the man to the ground, stepping on his throat and delivering a heavy punch to his chest.

With these blows, Northern Martial Zen used full force. Even though the man was tough, several ribs broke, blood sprayed from his mouth, causing severe injury.

Meanwhile, the man thrown by Northern Martial Zen was evidently startled by the situation. He hesitated briefly, suddenly turned and ran; he wasn’t foolish, knowing he was no match for Northern Martial Zen, and would definitely die if he continued fighting, so he prioritized survival.

”Die for me!” Northern Martial Zen roared, stomping heavily on the man’s chest beside him, causing it to cave in. The man widened his eyes, ceasing to breathe entirely, his ribs piercing into his heart, losing his life here.

Having killed this man, Northern Martial Zen turned abruptly to look at the other man. Seeing him turn and sprint, Northern Martial Zen’s lips curled into a cold smile.

”Trying to run!?” Northern Martial Zen coldly snapped, immediately turning with large strides to chase the man down. Since he couldn’t catch up with Ye Qing at this point, he decided to kill these two to vent his anger, not letting this man escape.

Though fast, compared to Northern Martial Zen, this man’s speed was inadequate. After a short run, the distance between them shortened rapidly.

Seeing this, the man anxiously yelled, continually turning back to shout at Northern Martial Zen. However, unfortunately, Northern Martial Zen didn’t understand English, and couldn’t grasp what he was saying, let alone respond.

Running for a while, noticing he couldn’t escape, the man suddenly stopped, reaching into his pocket and pulling out something unknown, furiously throwing it into the sky.

Northern Martial Zen slowed down slightly, fearing the man was throwing some concealed weapon. But the thing wasn’t thrown at him; once airborne, it suddenly exploded, emitting a dazzling light. Only then did Northern Martial Zen realize the man had thrown a firework!

The firework exploded in the sky, its light dazzling, shining over the vast grassland. Undoubtedly, even people twenty kilometers away could see this light.

Northern Martial Zen, an old hand in the Jianghu, immediately recognized that this was no ordinary firework, but a signal device. It seemed that the man, realizing he was doomed, was signaling for assistance.

”Hmph, even if your people come, so what!” Northern Martial Zen snorted coldly, darting to the man’s side in a few steps.

The man immediately extended his claws to counterattack, but Northern Martial Zen was already experienced. As soon as he stretched out his claws, Northern Martial Zen directly grabbed both his claws, simultaneously hitting his shoulders with two punches, dislocating both of his arms. Then, in the same way as before, breaking his ribs and killing this man on the spot.

After killing the man, Northern Martial Zen did not linger and immediately turned around to run in another direction. He was unsure which direction Ye Qing had gone, so he just randomly picked a direction to pursue. Moreover, he wouldn’t stay here because those two men had sent out a signal. Surely, reinforcements would arrive, and he didn’t want to stay and create enmities. Observing these two men’s strength, he felt that this group was rather strange. It would be very unwise to become enemies with them.

Northern Martial Zen hadn’t been gone long before several men came rushing over from a distance at tremendous speed. The leading two were walking upright, their movements graceful, as if running effortlessly on grass. The following few, however, moved on all fours, charging forward like wild wolves.

Clearly, these men were in league with the two strange ones from earlier. Because, back then, those two men also ran on all fours.

When these men reached the spot and saw the bodies of the two men on the ground, they were visibly shaken. The leading two exchanged glances, and one of them said solemnly, ”Earl, it seems the Martial Artists from Huaxia have started taking action!”

”Hmph, the Huaxia Martial Artists are so brazen!” the man referred to as the Earl said coldly, ”They dare kill our people, do they really think we can’t deal with them? Gather our forces immediately, I want to make them pay in blood!”

The men behind were about to act when another stepped forward urgently, ”Earl, the Bishop has said that the Huaxia Martial Artists are very strong. If it’s not necessary, try to avoid direct conflict with them. If the war extends to us, it could have a huge impact on our plans.”

”So what? The Martial Artists of Huaxia are nothing but trash, incomparable to our noble race!” the Earl said coldly, ”If not for the Bishop holding me back, I would have wiped out the Martial Artists of Huaxia long ago. How dare they act arrogantly? The Bishop fears them, but I do not. These two were my subordinates; since they died here, I have to seek justice for them!”

”Seeking justice is one thing, but it’s not necessary to escalate the war.” the man beside him said in a low voice, ”Earl, don’t forget that the Bishop has support from above. If this affects our plans, I’m afraid the Elders will vent their anger on us!”

Hearing this, the Earl hesitated slightly. He wasn’t afraid of that Bishop, but it didn’t mean he wasn’t afraid of the Elders. This matter could be big or small, and if it ruined the plans from above, he’d be in serious trouble.

”Then what should we do?” the Earl said sternly, ”Our people were killed; are we just supposed to let it go? Just let them get away with murder?”

”That’s not what I’m saying. Whoever did it should pay with their life, but there’s no need to widen the war!” the man said softly, ”We just need to find the culprit. There’s no need to blow things out of proportion.”

The Earl pondered for a while, then slowly nodded, saying in a deep voice, ”Alright, find the culprits for revenge. You all, go investigate and find out who the culprits are!”

The men behind received the order and immediately rushed to the two bodies, sniffing around like dogs, seemingly searching for something. Their behavior was extremely strange, not resembling human behavior at all. Could it be as Ye Qing suspected, that they practiced Nanyang sorcery, turning themselves into something neither human nor ghost?

After quite some time, the men finally stood up, exchanged a few words, and one turned to the Earl, saying, ”Earl, there are two people, but we don’t know which one is the culprit!”

”Two people? Then kill them both!” the Earl said in a grave tone, ”Find out where they went!”

The man replied, ”The two of them went in different directions.”

The Earl immediately frowned, paused for a moment, and said to the man beside him, ”Baron, you and your men chase this way. The rest, follow me to pursue the other. Once found, make sure to kill them, understood?”

”Yes!” everyone responded in unison, and as the Earl was about to turn and leave, the Baron quickly said, ”Earl, we can’t leave yet.”

”What’s wrong?” the Earl asked in a deep voice.

”The bodies need to be dealt with first,” the Baron said in a low voice, ”We can’t let the Huaxia Martial Artists know we were here. Otherwise, they will definitely target us, making it harder to seize the Sun Shooting Bow.”

”True!” the Earl nodded, extending his right hand, grabbing one of the bodies with an invisible force, pulling it into his grip.

The Earl said sternly, ”I’ll take this one to handle; you take care of the other. Make sure not to let the Huaxia Martial Artists find out!”
