The Valued Lady is Truly Dominant

Chapter 686: Chapter 686: This Delicate Flower of Mine

To see if Ji Suhua can catch Prince Min’s eye, it’s actually quite simple; just test a little.

After lunch, Princess Consort Ji considerately let Prince Min take a nap in her warm pavilion, and then sent Ji Suhua to deliver some tea.

They’re all adults here, no need to play any games about intentions; they both understood instantly.

Therefore, when Prince Min accepted the tea, he smoothly pulled Ji Suhua’s hand into his embrace.

Ji Suhua was so startled that she cried out in fear, trembling as she called out, ”Prince, Prince.”

Is this Prince Min truly such a playful person?

Prince Min sniffed a bit, ”You smell so nice.”

His large hand reached for her belt, and Ji Suhua’s body stiffened. She hastily pressed down on his hand, saying, ”Prince, please release Suhua first.”

”What, is Hua’er unwilling?” Prince Min’s voice carried a bit of a husky tone, but his actions paused.

Unwilling?

How could that be? Ji Suhua wanted it above all else, but shouldn’t things be made clear first? She wasn’t here to be a lowly concubine.

”If you’re unwilling, I’ll send you back to your family immediately.”

Ji Suhua was suddenly anxious, realizing this was a rare opportunity not to be missed. She let go of his hand, lowered her head, and said shyly, ”No, Suhua has long admired the Prince.”

So, come on, don’t pity this delicate flower!

Prince Min chuckled lightly, but the laughter was laced with sarcasm and disdain. He flipped his body and pinned her underneath on the couch.

Outside the door, a Nanny listened to the noises inside, folded hands departing.

Despite being uneasy about sending someone to her son, Princess Consort Ji thought Prince Min would, as usual, drive out the Ji family member. However, this time she was mistaken.

Listening to the Nanny whispering details at her ear, Princess Consort Ji’s expression was unreadable.

”It seems she’s quite fortunate.” Princess Consort Ji took the tea from the Nanny, sipped it, and said, ”Prepare a court residence for her to move in.” Since she’s staying, preparation must be made to enter the palace and secure a status, Ji family daughters cannot be mere concubines.

...

”Pfft.”

Song Ci nearly spat out her tea, hurriedly taking the handkerchief handed by a palace Nanny to cover her mouth, looking in shock at Princess Anping. Did she mishear?

”Isn’t it, this Prince’s Concubine like a cabbage? Just giving it away?”

It was a chance encounter with Princess Anping today, as neither of them had company, advancing down the streets, shopping, then sitting in a teahouse for a chat.

What did she hear?

Princess Consort Ji went to the palace to request a decree, giving Prince Min a niece from her maternal family as a Concubine.

Princess Anping held her hot tea, smiling faintly, ”The Official Wife and another side concubine of Prince Min were both assigned by the Emperor, and there’s still one spot left. Since the Dowager has entered the palace to request permission, it’s only right to grant it.”

After all, she’s his biological mother, and the Emperor’s chosen Official Wife candidate’s actions were somewhat unreasonable.

”Moreover, she’s not just a concubine, but an equal wife.” Princess Anping said meaningfully, ”After all, she’s someone who has already served Prince Min, so the Dowager will never shortchange her own family members, will she?”

Song Ci looked at her and revealed a lecherous smile, is that what she meant?

Princess Anping smiled but said nothing, calmly sipping her tea, encouraging reflection and deeper understanding.

”Princess, I just suddenly remembered, isn’t that Miss Ji a generation younger than Prince Min, wouldn’t this disrupt social order?” Song Ci suddenly said mysteriously.

This is too outrageous!

Princess Anping: ”...”

There was really no need to mention it!
