Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

Slaughter, wailing, war, smoke.

When Wen Yu came to Earth through the teleportation gate, he first brought disaster...

The soul puppet legion belonging to Yanjing and Wen Yu dispersed and eliminated all the demigod’s strongholds.

The demigod’s loyal forces must be completely uprooted. Since the demigod and Earth’s will have been sealed, from now on, whether on the tiered battleground or Earth, there must only be one voice!

Once the demigod and Earth’s will were fully sealed, the so-called ”base” of the demigod became worthless.

Incorporate, occupy, conquer, clean up...

Your, becomes mine, mine, is still mine—it’s all about the big fish eating the small fish.

Wen Yu did not participate in these matters; he simply flew to the Pacific Ocean, then deep into the Mariana Trench, arriving at the Earth’s nucleus origin.

At this moment, a steady stream of mutant creatures and soul puppets were still assaulting the defense line guarded by Fang Yuqiong—the top experts of the Insect Tribe and Sea King Tribe were mostly on Earth’s body, and as for soul puppets, after the demigod’s possession of the Soul Abiogenetic Creation Skill was exposed, the demigod didn’t bother to hide anymore.

During this period, the demigod stored up quite a few soul puppets.

However, when Wen Yu arrived, this matter was quickly settled.

Those powerful mutant creatures smelled Wen Yu’s presence and fled in all directions in panic, only to be wiped out instantly by Wen Yu’s wave of hand. Wen Yu then released Creation Energy, and it invaded the soul puppets of the demigod, quickly subduing them.

After completing this, Wen Yu waved his hand again, and these newly subjugated soul puppets immediately dissipated into the magma—they formed the third line of defense guarding this place.

Upon seeing Wen Yu’s appearance, Fang Yuqiong breathed a sigh of relief. He packed up the surrounding Sentinel Type III units and came to stand before Wen Yu.

”Sir, I am fortunate to fulfill my mission!”

Fang Yuqiong said, then handed the bag to Wen Yu, who just nodded, not paying heed to the bag offered.

”It’s yours, consider it a reward for this time.”

After forming the first line of defense, there were still about a few million Sentinel Type III left. However, Wen Yu didn’t care much about them; with the control core in Wen Yu’s hands, Fang Yuqiong only had the right to use them. Besides, Sentinels can be re-created continuously, so giving these away was trivial to Wen Yu.

After speaking, Wen Yu no longer concerned himself with Fang Yuqiong. He moved closer to the second line of defense set up by Faceless, examining it carefully and patching up some of the unnoticeable defense loopholes.

He had no intention of meeting Earth’s will again—Faceless informed Wen Yu of all that had just occurred, and in such a situation, Wen Yu felt there was no need for a face-to-face exchange.

After finishing all these, Wen Yu flew upwards with Fang Yuqiong, but before they could leave the underground, a loud explosion unexpectedly resonated in their ears.

Instantly, even deep beneath the earth, Wen Yu and Fang Yuqiong felt a constant trembling beneath their feet.

Fang Yuqiong looked bewildered, while Wen Yu just sighed, pulled out a communicator, and dialed a certain contact.

”What happened?”

Fran’s voice emerged from the communicator.

”It’s K, that clone of the demigod’s... he detonated America’s nuclear arsenal at the Washington Assembly Site...”

This is called mutual destruction, harmful yet unprofitable—but for Earth’s will and the demigod’s group, Wen Yu never expected them to have high awareness.

The appearance of a Moka could only be considered a pleasant surprise. K was indeed loyal, but loyalty only resulted in a enormous disaster, though he didn’t care.

Just now, K was directly turned to ashes by the explosion...

Those with the mindset of ”I don’t care if floods arise after my death” have unusual handiwork.

”Just tell me the damage!”

”All residents of the Washington Assembly Site died, we...”

”That’s not what I want to know.”

”3.38%. It only exploded in the surface area, didn’t cause too much damage...”

3.38%, still less than the damage caused by a few punches from Tang Haofei—while nuclear weapons do have considerable power, and before the apocalypse could indeed wipe out humans, but to say they could blow up the Earth is really an overstatement...

Detonating deep in the Earth’s nucleus might cause a chain reaction that could make nuclear weapons achieve such a feat, but if detonated only on the surface, Wen Yu considered it inconsequential...

”Acceptable...”

”The key is, America isn’t the only country with nuclear weapons in this world. All of the world’s nuclear arsenals are now under the control of the demigod’s followers. Wait...someone wants to speak with me...”

Fran finished talking and then hung up the communicator. Not until Wen Yu and Fang Yuqiong flew above the sea level did Wen Yu’s communicator ring again.

”It’s Li Quan’an, he says he knows you.”

”Yes, I do know him, but that was a long time ago. I don’t have much connection with him.”

Wen Yu said this matter was purely official, playing the emotional card? Li Quan’an was indeed barking up the wrong tree...

”He’s not trying to build connections with you; he brings the surrender of all the nuclear arsenals controlled by the demigod’s forces to us, and additionally, he wants a position in Yanjing.”

After hearing this, Wen Yu did lament Li Quan’an’s obsession with power, even in such circumstances, trying to trade the demigod’s ”legacy” for his own glory and wealth...

Wen Yu almost said ”cut off the root,” but then abruptly shifted the topic, tossing the question to Fran.

”What do you think should be done?”

”Agree, minimize losses. Without the demigod, with Earth’s will sealed, Li Quan’an isn’t a concern. I think retaining him, first safeguarding the Level Lock is the best policy.”

”Plus, Li Quan’an is very savvy, capable, but not someone who does big things. As long as we supervise strictly, there won’t be any major problems...”

Fran chatted away with Wen Yu, leaving Wen Yu puzzled. After a while, Fran finally finished, and Wen Yu didn’t organize Fran’s words, he just replied indifferently.

”Alright, then I’ll leave this matter to you.”

Li Quan’an, that’s a matter for Fran’s level. No matter how much he jumps around, it’s tough for him to step out of the limitations of strength, intelligence, status, etc. Wen Yu naturally doesn’t worry about these things.

In fact, the demigod’s level isn’t much higher than Fran—if not supported by Earth’s will, the demigod could never have stirred up such a storm!

Wen Yu only cares about Tang Haofei, Earth’s will, and Demon Spirit.

Moreover, Fran’s capabilities are strong, with Lin Haifeng as the brains helping out with ideas, Wen Yu believes that matters of their level can be handled properly by Fran.
