The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 236: Chapter 124: Mother Who Favors Sons Over Daughters (11)

He Tiantian had no doubt that by the time she and her daughter learned their trade in Shenzhen and returned to Zhaojiawa, that young widow might already be living in He Xiaotian and Zhao Baozhu’s home!

That would be for the best!

It would save He Tiantian the trouble of having to kick out Zhao Baozhu, such a loathsome weasel.

Of course, all these thoughts were her own; she had never expressed them and had never let the children suspect anything.

In fact, more than once in front of Daniu and Xiaoya, He Tiantian said, ”With a little brother, our family finally has something to look forward to!”

”Your dad won’t be laughed at as the old barren family, the useless one anymore!”

”Once we return, when your dad sees Xiao Bao, such a plump and fair son, who knows how happy he will be!”

”Let’s not tell him for now, hehe, it’ll be a big surprise for him!”

He Tiantian’s manipulation had never been doubted by Daniu and Xiaoya.

After all, the former He Xiaotian had truly desired to have a son, becoming somewhat obsessed.

And He Xiaotian’s obsession with having a male heir was also for maintaining the Old Zhao’s Family lineage, for Zhao Baozhu.

On regular days, how the real mother served their father was something both the Daniu sisters had seen with their own eyes.

So, hearing He Tiantian’s words seemed nothing but normal to them.

Under He Tiantian’s guidance, both the naive children secretly dreamed: when they returned to their old home with a younger brother, the family of five would surely live harmoniously.

With a father, a mother, and a little brother, the village wouldn’t laugh at or bully them anymore.

Daniu would have learned a skill, and Xiaoya would be able to go to school...

Ah, such wonderful days, one could almost wake up laughing from a dream.

He Tiantian... I’m sorry, children, only by seeing your father’s shamelessness with your own eyes will you completely sever ties with him.

Only without such a base father dragging them down could Daniu and Xiaoya’s lives truly be happier.

When Daniu wanted to learn clothing design, He Tiantian tried her best to secure an apprenticeship for her at a clothing factory.

Operating sewing machines, learning how to cut, these were all assembly line jobs.

But Daniu was intelligent; she secretly learned along with the encouragement of her real mother, He Tiantian, and her sister, the female lead Xiaoya.

She was young, beautiful, obedient, and incredibly observant.

Not only did the factory’s old masters like her, but even several reputed designers invited from Hong Kong found Daniu charming.

Daniu studied relentlessly.

Perhaps she really had talent, or maybe she was just hardworking, but within just three months, she had already learned how to tailor and make clothes.

For color matching, she also had unique insights and judgments.

That sensitivity and grip on fashion trends also amazed the few designers.

When Daniu mastered her craft and was preparing to leave the factory, a few designers even gave her some fashion magazines.

Of course, they were expired.

But, fashion itself is a reincarnation.

Seeing those outdated fashion styles in the expired magazines, Daniu suddenly got inspired.

On the train back to her old home, she was sketching in her notebook.

She had actually designed several sets of autumn outfits that looked quite appealing.

At that time, it was still midsummer, but those professional big clothing manufacturers had already started preparing for autumn novelties.

He Tiantian, curious, glanced and realized that Daniu’s designs indeed had some merit.

It looked like her elder daughter had really learned the skill.

With just these few design sketches, she could find a job in any clothing factory in the Provincial City.

And it turned out to be so; with the ”encouragement” from He Tiantian and Xiaoya, after the train arrived in the Provincial City, He Tiantian didn’t rush to transfer trains back to the County. Instead, she let Daniu go to a joint venture clothing factory to offer her own talents.

After three or four months of training in Shenzhen, Daniu had transformed.

She had become confident, independent, and strong.

Although still somewhat shy, she already knew how to find her way to the clothing factory, identify the relevant person in charge, and then calmly showcase her expertise.

She could design, draft patterns, cut, and sew... truly a talented individual.

Moreover, the young girl wasn’t demanding, not taking advantage of her talents to ask for an exorbitant price.

The factory assistant manager immediately approved, hiring Daniu on the spot.

Of course, as Daniu was still young and couldn’t officially join the staff, she began under the apprenticeship name, assisting the designers.
