The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 210: Chapter 115: The Mother Who Favors Sons Over Daughters (Part 2)_2

After raising such doubts, Student Xiao D actually felt less afraid and less anxious.

Haha, that’s more like it, He Tiantian is not someone willing to take a loss.

This time she was forced by the system to play a villain, and she must have been uncomfortable with it.

But she had already signed a contract with the system and had to complete the mission, otherwise, she would have points deducted.

He Tiantian is not someone who gives up easily, she would definitely find ways to complete the mission.

And this mission was just disgusting; He Tiantian must have been uncomfortable, so offering a high amount of points as a reward was in line with her character.

”Tiantian, don’t worry, this mission is rated at two stars. Completing the mission you can get 4 Basic Points, and if you get an excellent rating, the points will double!”

Xiao D rushed to say, hoping that He Tiantian would keep an eye on the high reward and not mess around but complete the mission diligently.

”A difficulty factor of two stars? Isn’t this mission actually not that hard? Why is it as high as two stars?”

He Tiantian asked, feigning curiosity.

Because things like maintaining a consistent character isn’t too hard, you just need to follow the script.

There’s no need for the writer to figure it out on their own.

Of course, the later part of the plot, due to the author abandoning the story, requires the writer to continue writing based on the protagonist’s personality.

But the character’s setting is very well-rounded, and the general outcome is there; it just lacks the details of the protagonist wreaking havoc.

The writer just needs to fill in the details within the framework, and the mission would be considered complete.

”...” Student Xiao D cast a mournful glance at He Tiantian.

It believed that someone as smart and shrewd as He Tiantian couldn’t possibly be unaware of the reason.

She was asking knowingly.

However, faced with Xiao D’s sorrowful little gaze, He Tiantian did not respond at all.

She still looked curious and continued to wait for Student Xiao D’s answer.

In desperation, Xiao D had no choice but to muster courage and said quietly, ”This mission itself is not difficult, what’s difficult is that it’s hard for a writer with normal values to get past the psychological challenge!”

Before He Tiantian, there had been a writer who took on this mission.

The system’s requirements for that writer weren’t as ”meticulous” as now, merely ”not to break the character.”

Initially, that writer was able to play the part of an Extreme Mother who favored sons over daughters.

But gradually ”she” would begin to disapprove of her own actions and unconsciously want to compensate the flesh and blood ”she” had harmed.

The character’s consistency quickly collapsed.

That writer also ended in failure.

To prevent from having to restart this mission, that writer bore the pain, spent all their points, and bought a ”select script” cheat to avoid this script altogether.

From this, it’s evident how much damage this seemingly simple top-grade script can inflict on normal people!

The two-star difficulty factor is derived from this.

Student Xiao D felt like an idiot, oh no, a smart assistant should be able to think of this; He Tiantian, who complained all day that Xiao D was an idiot, couldn’t possibly not understand.

But she still asked.

Alas... Student Xiao D’s fur drooped down. It said listlessly, ”Playing top-grade villains is tough, especially King Level ones; they really challenge a normal person’s baseline!”

He Tiantian curled her lips, showing an ”I knew it” expression.

Student Xiao D: ...I knew you did it on purpose.

He Tiantian teased Student Xiao D, seeing it trying to get angry but not daring to, which made her feel much better.

Indeed, building one’s happiness on someone else’s pain... too refreshing!

She had edged a tiny bit closer to being a villain!

”Let’s start the mission!”

He Tiantian stopped with the chit-chat and went straight to the point.

”...Welcome to the novel world!” Seeing that He Tiantian was finally acting normal, Student Xiao D pushed down its surging emotions and eagerly sent He Tiantian into the novel world.

He Tiantian opened her eyes to find herself walking on a road.

Around were primitive scenes: a rocky mountain path, bare earth on the hills, farmland nearby, and sporadically scattered houses on the other side.

The houses were bungalows with red walls and black tiles, some even covered in colorful ceramic tiles—a look characteristic of the northern Chinese countryside from the nineties.

Of course, only those households with a surplus could afford to put ceramic tiles on their houses.

Some poorer families in the village were still living in earth houses built in the fifties and sixties.
