The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 220: Chapter 118: The Mother Who Favors Sons Over Daughters (Part 5)_3

”Well done, truly worthy of being the female lead, just freaking smart.”

He Tiantian was satisfied in her heart, she quickly grabbed Zhao Xiaoya, and ran to the plump aunt,” Sister, the child needs to pee, where is the outhouse?”

”It’s over there, I’ll take you!” The plump aunt’s eyes flickered, her face smiling, but she did not let go of her guard against He Tiantian for a moment.

”Ah, thank you, Sister, you’re really too kind! I’m so lucky to have met you—” He Tiantian seemed not to notice that the lady was watching her, and instead showed a delighted expression.

Seeing He Tiantian acting this way, a hint of vigilance that had just arisen in the plump aunt’s heart slowly dissipated.

She led He Tiantian and her daughter to the public restroom, and with her usual cautious nature, she would definitely have guarded at the door, fearing the prey in hand might fly away.

But He Tiantian acted so much like someone without worldly experience, truly believing in the plump aunt, a stranger, as a complete naive, and the hygienic conditions in the public restrooms these days were indeed terrible.

Fortunately, there was someone in there who seemed to be suffering from diarrhea, a stench wafting out incessantly.

The plump aunt looked simple, as if she came from the working class.

But having done her ”business” for more than ten years, she had money and began to be particular.

Having her guard a stinking public restroom, ah, it was somewhat difficult for her.

Besides, the plump aunt felt that He Tiantian, a woman with a child, even if she noticed something was wrong and tried to slip away, wouldn’t be able to escape.

Humph, her two big and burly accomplices were not only good at beating people but also fast runners.

The plump aunt had seen He Tiantian’s train ticket and had already noted the carriage position; as long as He Tiantian still wanted to take the train, the plump aunt could find her.

”Sister, take your time with the kid, I’m going back now.”

The plump aunt shouted at the door of the restroom and then left, covering her nose and mouth.

As soon as the plump aunt’s figure disappeared, He Tiantian dragged Zhao Xiaoya out of the restroom.

Without saying another word, she went straight to the police station at the station,” Officer, I, I encountered human traffickers. There are four of them, two men and two women. Including myself, they’ve tricked three women and two children.”

He Tiantian said it all in one breath, leaving the police officers stunned.

But quickly realizing the severity of the situation, the station police did not dare to delay and quickly changed into plain clothes, surrounding the area according to the position pointed out by He Tiantian.

”Mom? You, you’re saying that plump granny is a human trafficker?”

Zhao Xiaoya was frightened, her bright eyes filled with fear and confusion.

Because that fat granny was kindly, always smiling at people, even praised her for being cute, and gave her a big piece of Big White Rabbit candy.

Candy, ah, Zhao Xiaoya saw this kind of good stuff for the first time at the age of seven.

She hadn’t even had the heart to eat it, clutching it tightly in her hand, her sweat almost soaking through the candy wrapper with the little rabbit design.

Zhao Xiaoya could not imagine that such a smiling, plump granny could be the most terrifying existence used by adults to scare children—human traffickers!

”Yes! She and those two men are all traffickers!”

He Tiantian gripped Zhao Xiaoya’s hand, pretendingly proud, said,” Hmph, they thought they could trick me? Psh! They should open their dog eyes and see who He Xiaotian is?”

”Although I’ve never traveled far and haven’t seen the world, I at least understand the basic principles!”

Saying this, He Tiantian bent down, looked into Zhao Xiaoya’s eyes, and said,” Remember, no one will be good to you for no reason! We don’t know that old hag, why would she help me with the way, and give you candy?”

Zhao Xiaoya:... Mom makes so much sense.

Then, as if she thought of something, Zhao Xiaoya quickly extended her small hand, opened her palm, and showed a wrinkled piece of candy,” Mom, I don’t want it, it’s from the human trafficker!”

”Right, you can’t accept anything from strangers, whether it’s food or drink!”

He Tiantian continued to educate Zhao Xiaoya.

Of course, she shouldn’t generalize, and she especially shouldn’t make little Zhao Xiaoya feel like there are no good people in the world.

But children had to be cautious, disappointing good people’s kindness was somewhat improper.

However, it was definitely better than children being hurt because they believe in the inherent goodness of people.

Once the child grew old enough to distinguish right from wrong, she could slowly explore the beauty of the world, and there was still time!

”Um, I don’t want it!” Zhao Xiaoya resisted the saliva welling up in her mouth, determinedly throwing the candy into the trash can.

”That’s right, just like that!” He Tiantian continued to encourage, and promised,” Once we find your sister, if you want candy, Mom, I’ll buy it for you!”

He Tiantian feigned distress and said,” Ah, all of you are debt collectors costing me money!”

If it were in the past, hearing this, Zhao Xiaoya would definitely have felt very aggrieved.

But at this moment, Zhao Xiaoya felt extremely warm and reassured.

”Mom is really good!” Zhao Xiaoya sighed softly.

He Tiantian curved her mouth into a slight smile, holding the child’s hand, first circled back to the spot they had formerly stayed at, and watched from a distance as several plainclothes officers captured the plump aunt and the other three. Only then did she feel at ease to sit down with the child in another spot.

After waiting another half hour, it was finally time for the train to enter the station.

He Tiantian gripped Zhao Xiaoya tight, swept up by the surging crowd, they poured into the carriage together...
