Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 1233: Chapter 1232: Open Sesame!

When Fang Zheng arrived once again at the underground gate located in the Western continent, he was utterly despairing.

Though Fang Zheng indeed acquired a divine position, however......

God of Magical Girls!!

Why of all things does it have to be God of Magical Girls!

Wouldn’t it be great to just remove the word ”girl”?

God of Magic, now that sounds much grander, right!

But in the end, it’s God of Magical Girls!!

Come to think of it, there are so many worlds of magic, why did you have to send me to the world of Magical Girls?

System, you are scheming against me!!

MMP! Did you hear that! MMP!!

Even though he’s raging internally, what else can Fang Zheng do?

He can’t exactly pull the system out and give it a beating!

The only fortunate aspect is although he’s the God of Magical Girls, at least Fang Zheng is a behind-the-scenes deity, unlike the Goddess of Order who gets a statue built or something, and the Magical Girls just need to stay true to themselves to provide him with the Power of Faith, without needing too much interaction.

Otherwise, just imagine a group of youthful girls fervently kneeling before his statue shouting ”Please God of Magical Girls, grant me strength...”

Fang Zheng would want to kill himself.

He originally thought about whether he should also set up a religious group or temple once he became a deity, and then construct some statues. After all, many religions do this. In the Main World, even the Evil Gods and Devils have their own statues, so why shouldn’t he have one?

But now......no statues, not even if he’s beaten to death!!

Fang Zheng wishes he could hide behind the scenes forever, preferably never having to come out to meet anyone!

Unlike others who become deities with much fanfare, Fang Zheng’s ascension to godhood was quite low-key, with no one knowing apart from himself. Perhaps Black Katie might have sensed something, but she wasn’t particularly concerned. After all, Black Katie originally served the Ritual Snake of the God of Creation, and was quite used to this.

As for others......forget it, it’s better if they don’t know.

”Ah......”

Looking at the distorted and eye-burning gate in front of him, Fang Zheng sighed helplessly, then he reached out once more, placing his hand on the gate.

The next moment, Fang Zheng’s eyes widened in shock.

”Holy crap!”

As Fang Zheng reached out to press the gate, he suddenly sensed a formidable force flashing past from the gate, so fast like a bullet train, lasting only for a few seconds. Yet, the powerful divine force contained within startled Fang Zheng!

Bear in mind he had touched this gate several times before but never sensed this kind of force!

It felt like putting his hand on a heated iron plate!

Fang Zheng quickly withdrew his hand, yet he could still feel that his divine power had been ”forcibly” peeled off a layer because of it. Of course, the consumption wasn’t too significant, in a way, it’s like peeling a layer of skin off his hand......and that’s painful enough, right!

”Alliance Hierarch?”

”Master?”

Seeing Fang Zheng’s reaction, Black Katie and Nymph also hurriedly looked over at Fang Zheng, who breathed in deeply then shook his hand.

”It’s nothing, don’t worry about it......”

Fortunately, after a thorough check, Fang Zheng found out this force hadn’t caused too much damage to him, strictly speaking it’s just like having blood drawn for a test......

At this moment, a system notification suddenly appeared in front of Fang Zheng.

”Boom boom boom boom boom......”

Almost simultaneously as the system hint appeared before Fang Zheng, accompanied by a deep rumbling, the heavy gate slowly opened. Fang Zheng tidied up his clothes, gestured to Black Katie and Nymph, then stepped into the dark space ahead.

”Click.”

As Fang Zheng and the other two entered the space, dazzling radiance flashed up, illuminating the underground cavity completely. Fang Zheng opened his eyes and looked ahead, and couldn’t help but pause.

In front of him lay a metal, ring-shaped device. Other than this apparatus, only a few bulb-like lighting devices hung on the cave walls, appearing rather simple———how to say, it kind of looked like a mining site.

This totally didn’t match with Fang Zheng’s expectation; he initially thought there would be some kind of glorious city or sacred palace, but......what’s up with this thing that looks incomplete?

A mission better not pop out suddenly, asking me to complete some mysterious machinery.

Carefully approaching, Fang Zheng nervously watched the system, afraid another task would pop out. But to his relief, even as he arrived before the metal device, no task appeared, filling him with relief.

So next, what’s to be done?

Looking at the metal ring before him, Fang Zheng frowned. Conventional wisdom suggests this should be a teleportation device, like standing inside would transport you elsewhere, and Fang Zheng indeed sensed divine power within this metal circle.

However......this metal ring is only as big as a fist, how does one stand inside?

Not a chance it’s a one-leg balancing act, right?

”—————!”

While contemplating how to activate this device with his hand on his chin, suddenly, radiant glory flared from atop the ring, forming a golden sphere. Simultaneously, surging divine power began to swell, prompting Fang Zheng to step back cautiously, glaring at the sphere.

Very soon, under Fang Zheng’s gaze, the sphere began to elongate, transforming into a female believer. She possessed golden hair, a beautiful face, donned a platinum robe, with a scepter in hand, almost an exact replica of the Goddess of Order statue in the temple......

Then again, not quite.

A closer look revealed that while the woman resembled the statue, there was something subtly different, akin to two sisters resembling each other, yet outsiders can discern the difference. Not only that, for some reason, Fang Zheng felt this goddess was somehow familiar, as if he had seen her somewhere before......

”Welcome to our world......”

The woman slowly opened her eyes, looking at Fang Zheng, her gaze calm and pure.

”I......damn!”

But unexpectedly, just halfway through her sentence, her expression drastically changed, blurting out a curse. Fang Zheng then watched as the goddess seemed to blur and appeared beside him, circling around him.

”Who are you? Where the hell did you come from? You aren’t of this world, are you? Holy crap, what’s up with you anyway? Why do I sense an Order Mark on you, come clean about where you stole......ugh!!”

However, before she finished her barrage of words, Fang Zheng saw her expression change as though someone covered her mouth, meanwhile, from within her body came the sound of ”crackling” noises.

Um......if Fang Zheng didn’t hear wrong, it sounded like multiple people pinning someone down and pummeling them.

Simultaneously, the goddess’s body also began to distort, with light flickering intermittently. After several minutes, Fang Zheng watched the goddess again open her eyes, a apologetic smile directed at him.

”I apologize for letting you see such a joke.”

If the initial goddess gave Fang Zheng a divine impression, now she exuded a quiet elegance......though somehow it felt...a bit off.

”Nice to meet you, greetings, foreigner.”

The goddess softly smiled, calmly and gently gazing at Fang Zheng, and spoke.

”We are the Goddess of Order Edith, welcome to our world.”

”We?”

Hearing this, Fang Zheng was taken aback, while the goddess nodded.

”Yes, what you see now before you, standing here, is the collective spirit and embodiment of the Order Goddesses throughout history, we......to hell with incarnations, I’m the Goddess of Order, you shameless folks let go of me, I’ve endured hundreds of years and finally found a chance to show off, you can’t do this, you damned...”

”Crackling......”

Watching the smiling Goddess of Order before him, hearing the sounds of thrashing and screams from her body, Fang Zheng’s eye twitched involuntarily.

He felt......he might have made a wrong decision.
