Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 1230: Chapter 1229: Spiral of Contradiction

”Click.”

In Fang Zheng’s sight, the clock’s hands slowly approached twelve.

”In fact, I’ve been waiting for you.”

Staring at the QB before him, Fang Zheng showed a conspiratorial smile.

”Waiting for me?”

Perhaps seeing something in Fang Zheng’s expression, QB’s blood-red eyes fixed on him.

”That’s right.”

”Click.”

The hands turned again, and then in Fang Zheng’s view, the hour and minute hands overlapped at twelve.

At the same time, Fang Zheng reached out and activated the Soulstone embedded in the Dimensional Codex.

”Rite of Ji Ceremony.”

”————————!”

At this moment, the Zero Hour Resurgence suddenly appeared in front of Fang Zheng, then began spinning rapidly!!

”Sealing!”

Accompanied by Fang Zheng’s furious cry, the pitch black sealing erupted instantly, enveloping the whole Earth———no, the entire universe!

”This is———!”

At this moment, QB’s tone revealed a hint of unimaginable disturbance.

Under the pitch black night sky, the dense black clouds were completely dispersed, and the rotating nebulae encircled the sun, covering the entire sky. From afar, it looked just like the Star Map in the Observatory.

”To wield the power of distortion, it’s not just you incubators.”

Looking at QB before him, Fang Zheng grinned with a triumphant smile.

Indeed, what Fang Zheng was doing now was essentially borrowing the same steps as when he created the Void Domain using the Ritual Snake’s abilities in the World of Shana.

The ”God of Creation” Ritual Snake required others’ wishes to create a deity. In Shana’s world, it was due to the calls of countless Followers of the Crimson Realm that it brought the Three Pillars into the real world, fulfilling their desires.

However, in the Fire Mist Warriors’ sneak attack, the Ritual Snake failed.

Hence, it began a new journey, using the power of the Zero Hour Resurgence to fill energy itself. This way, it wouldn’t need any preparation of rituals like before; the God of Creation could create a new world at will!

And in this world it is the same.

In the Fire Mist World, Zero Hour Resurgence uses the twisted power accumulated by Followers of the Crimson Realm devouring humans.

However, in this world, Zero Hour Resurgence uses the power twisted and accumulated by numerous Magical Girls when transforming into Witches.

Not only this......

”Did you think I didn’t notice this spiral of contradictions? Incubator, wrong, on the contrary, I am waiting for this moment to arrive......”

With the speech, Fang Zheng in red ponytail form slowly floated into the air; the originally burning red flames on her body had turned pitch black, and at the same time, the surroundings became entirely dark.

”Due to Homura’s countless resets, the parallel lines that should’ve never intersected are disrupted, twisted, frozen together, with this Witch’s Night as the origin and conclusion. All incubator civilization will be wiped out!”

”.........!”

Hearing this, QB fell silent for a moment, then suddenly it sprung forward, seemingly trying to do something. But seeing this, Fang Zheng merely sneered coldly,

”A futile struggle......Illya.”

”Understood, MASTER!”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s summon, Illya quickly dismissed her transformation, then raised her Magic Wand high.

”Kaleidoscope system unfolding, multiple dimensional coordinates fixed!”

”Whoosh———!!”

Accompanied by Illya’s call, suddenly a giant, circular stained glass-like existence appeared in the sky, covering a vast expanse of sky in front, resembling a church’s colorful stained glass ceiling, exuding a dazzling radiance.

At the same time, QB’s actions suddenly halted.

”Just as I imagined.”

Seeing this, Fang Zheng’s heart finally settled completely.

”You discovered this spiral of contradictions long ago, found through Homura, then you sought to use this spiral......well, interesting......not just you, but now perhaps even ’you’ from other worlds are here too.”

The Spiral of Contradictions can generate more energy.

Fang Zheng could understand this, as the Zero Hour Resurgence harnesses power from distortion, and from the QB’s situation, it was evident they had mastered similar technology. Except, they drew power during the process of transforming Magical Girls into Witches.

From this, it was clear that if there existed such an endlessly cycling loop, and if the QB race was proficient in dimensional control, they would certainly attempt to control this unending cycle and use it as a kind of ”perpetual motion machine” to extract power.

But they obviously didn’t expect that Fang Zheng had an ace up his sleeve.

From the Fire Mist World came the Zero Hour Resurgence and Ritual Snake, and from the Type Moon World came the Third Magic and Second Magic—the Magic Wand Illya held was a piece of formal wear that limited the Second Magic. Although it couldn’t fully utilize the Second Magic, opening, controlling, and fixing multiple spaces was still possible.

Just now, the QB clearly sensed something was wrong and wanted to leave. And other parallel world’s QBs seemed to have noticed something too, wanting to disconnect from this world.

But Fang Zheng was one step ahead.

”None of you are getting away.”

Now Fang Zheng looked at the QB with eyes like a big bad wolf eyeing Little Red Riding Hood inside the house. Then, he raised his right hand, and with a dazzling flame, a pitch-black greatsword appeared in Fang Zheng’s hand.

”I’ve declared a Level One extinction directive on you and your civilization, which means not only you in this world but also you in other worlds... all the Incubators, all of the Incubator civilization, must be destroyed!”

Upon hearing this, the QB leaped suddenly, jumping into the air. But just then, Fang Zheng turned his wrist, and in the next moment, the pitch-black greatsword pierced through the QB’s body, nailing it to the ground firmly.

”Boom!!”

Immediately, crimson fire began to burn.

”Squeak—Squeak!!”

For the first time, the QB began to struggle, emitting a squeal similar to that of a mouse, its voice now evidently filled with pain.

Fang Zheng paid no mind to this; it was only natural. This was Primordial Fire, the flame that began the world, consumed chaos, and heralded the age of fire. It could burn anything, devour everything. Even an alien civilization like the Incubators could not resist the power of Primordial Fire!

The crimson flames rapidly burned, quickly turning QB’s pure white body into black charcoal. Its soft fur was scorched, curled, and turned black. Flames shot out from the crevices near its eyes, and then QB’s round, crimson eyes began to gradually shrivel. Flames also protruded from its mouth, scorching its tongue. Its entire body convulsed, but that was not struggle; it was an instinctive reaction under intense pain.

Gradually, QB was burned into a small piece of charcoal, its entire body curled up, no longer struggling or resisting.

Then...

”Crack.”

In Fang Zheng’s eyes, he saw the charred corpse of the QB suddenly break apart. At the same time, something peculiar that seemed like a ghost flew out, heading into the void.

However, that was meaningless.

”Swish——!!”

Behind it, the Primordial Fire, which was about to extinguish, suddenly ignited like a firecracker fuse lit, transforming into a spark, tightly chasing the ”ghost.” Fang Zheng watched as the spark of fire leaped out, finally hitting the ”ghost.”

”Bang——!!”

The next moment was like a real fireworks display. The sky was filled with radiant, spreading halos, quickly expanding into lines, then bursting again into fire rings... repeatedly, until the entire sky turned bright red in the blink of an eye.

”Wow......”

Witnessing this scene, the Magical Girls widened their eyes in astonishment, marveling silently at the beautiful fireworks in the sky, rendered speechless for a moment.

However, as the bearer of the Primordial Fire, Fang Zheng saw more.

The QB was never a life form from this world.

Just as Fang Zheng thought, they came from higher-dimensional space, and this body was merely a device they created to interact with lower-dimensional civilizations. Otherwise, if they weren’t even in the same space, how could they communicate, let alone deceive anyone?

But now, this became the source of their destruction.

The Primordial Fire had targeted them.

Fang Zheng could see a giant torrent of flames howling past the universe. In its path, the Incubator race was desperately running. But it was pointless; Primordial Fire could burn everything, destroy everything. Even if you ran to the eleven-dimensional space, it wouldn’t make a difference.

Thus, Fang Zheng saw the Primordial Fire ultimately trace the Incubators and their civilization back to their ”nest,” then engulf it in flames, reducing it to ashes.

The entire universe suddenly contracted.

Then, a world-shattering explosion erupted as brilliant flames swept across hundreds of star systems at the heart of the dark universe, devouring them all, reducing them to ashes. Countless Incubators screamed as they perished in the flames, their civilization destroyed, their structures and occupied planets also annihilated.

White-furred creatures were sparked into flame, screaming and rolling, trying every method to disperse the fire on their bodies. Yet the flames mercilessly scorched their skin and flesh, charring the fur of these Incubators, igniting their muscles, burning into their bodies along their blood vessels, scorching their brains and hearts into pieces of charcoal. Meanwhile, their original bodies shriveled like jellyfish left on a beach.

And all of this kept repeating in countless parallel worlds.

In the ”fireworks” that the girls saw covering the entire sky, every exploded point of light was a star system.

”There are two ways to maintain social resources.”

Fang Zheng squinted his eyes, coldly glaring at the charred corpse of the QB, a slight smirk on his face.

”One is to increase productivity, the other is to reduce the population.”
