Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 1231: Chapter 1230: Finally Done... Hm?

”Alright, that’s one down.”

Watching the complete annihilation of the QB clan, Fang Zheng breathed a sigh of relief. Eliminating the QB clan was the first step in his plan, for they created this system, and if not completely destroyed, Fang Zheng wasn’t sure if they would come to wreak havoc.

No, he should say they would definitely come to cause trouble.

That’s why Fang Zheng put the destruction of QB at the forefront. Once QB was eradicated, the rest of the matters would be much easier to handle for him.

Next......

Fang Zheng withdrew his gaze and turned his eyes to Akemi Homura.

”Homura.”

”Yes.”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s words, Akemi Homura stepped forward, her expression complex as she looked at the corpse of QB, her mind fraught with unknown thoughts.

”This matter started with you and should end with you.”

Fang Zheng looked at Akemi Homura once more.

In truth, what QB said was not wrong. This infinite spiral loop has three key points: Akemi Homura, Madoka Kaname, and Witch’s Night.

Witch’s Night is the starting point, Madoka Kaname is the endpoint, and Akemi Homura is the straight line connecting the start and end. If she does not exist, then such an inescapable spiral loop would not occur.

And now, this is what Fang Zheng intends to do.

”Mr. Fang Zheng, what are you going to do with Homura?”

Kyoko seemed a bit uneasy as she looked at Akemi Homura and then glanced at Fang Zheng, unsure of what to say. However, Fang Zheng just shook his head at her before looking back at Akemi Homura.

”Become a member of my clan.”

Indeed, this is Fang Zheng’s solution.

Logically speaking, as long as Akemi Homura ceases to exist, the spiral twisted around her as the core would return to normal.

However, to make Akemi Homura disappear, there are three methods.

The first method is to directly kill Akemi Homura, and as long as she is dead, this loop will naturally come to an end.

The second method is to swallow Akemi Homura with the Flame of Existence. Of course, the outcome would be similar to the first method.

The third method is to transform Akemi Homura into a dragon species... an Enchanted Clan member of the Time Dragon.

Simply put, a being similar to the Little Fire Dragon.

Time Dragons transcend time, irrelevant to cause and effect. They exist here, yet do not, only appearing if they will it so. As long as Akemi Homura is transformed into an Enchanted Clan member of the Time Dragon, she can break free from the constraints of time and resolve this issue.

Fang Zheng is filled with confidence about this.

The Little Fire Dragon can become a member of his clan because, while it is a creature from the technological world, it occupies the ”dragon” attribute, theoretically belonging to the same class, order, and species as himself. Despite Akemi Homura being human, she possesses the power to manipulate time, albeit very basic, but similar, nonetheless.

Furthermore, these days, Fang Zheng has been in ”intimate contact” with Akemi Homura daily. In fact, Akemi Homura might not have realized that her physical quality has unconsciously changed in this process. The power of the dragon species is mighty, and as Akemi Homura endured so much of Fang Zheng’s energy, quite a bit permeated and changed her physical makeup.

This was also Fang Zheng’s intentional act; otherwise, relying solely on Akemi Homura’s human physical quality, even as a Magical Girl, would not allow for an easy transformation into a Time Dragon.

”Alright, Master.”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s words, Akemi Homura quietly nodded and then closed her eyes. Fang Zheng, on the other hand, reached out his hand towards Akemi Homura.

Soon, under the watchful gaze of all, Akemi Homura began to float slowly upwards, landing beside Fang Zheng.

Then, Fang Zheng extended his hand and pressed it against Akemi Homura’s forehead.

Soon afterwards, golden magic circles appeared on Akemi Homura’s body, and in front of Fang Zheng, a system prompt swiftly appeared.

[Would you like to transform the target into a clan member?]

”Yes.”

Facing the system’s inquiry, Fang Zheng unhesitatingly gave his answer.

With the echo of Fang Zheng’s words, he immediately felt his blood flow start to speed up, as if attracted by something, rushing towards his palm. Simultaneously, Fang Zheng’s palm became increasingly hot, and Homura’s expression shifted from initial calmness to slight pain.

”Ugh... ugh...”

As a low moan escaped, Akemi Homura’s body started gently trembling, followed by......

”Bang!!”

Her Magical Girl outfit suddenly burst apart, and at the same time, Homura’s Soul Gem underwent a transformation. It gradually levitated in front of Akemi Homura’s chest, slowly turning into a purple light orb, and merged back with her body.

And in that instant, the light surged explosively.

”Boom!!”

A burst of airflow swept over, causing everyone around to take a few steps back, instinctively turning their heads.

However, Fang Zheng saw it all clearly.

At this moment, Akemi Homura’s body is gradually changing. On her forehead, two coiled dragon horns slowly emerge from her hair, and behind her, a pair of pitch-black wings and a tail quickly manifest. Not only that, Fang Zheng also sees Akemi Homura’s hands and feet transforming into a form resembling dragon claws, making her appear like a half-human, half-beast creature.

Fortunately, this was just for a fleeting moment, and only Fang Zheng witnessed it. Moments later, Akemi Homura’s body reverted back to its original human form.

It seems there is indeed a difference.

Watching Akemi Homura before him, Fang Zheng frowned slightly. He truly didn’t expect that turning Akemi Homura into the Enchanted Clan of the Time Dragon would cause such a transformation. However, on closer thought, it makes sense. The Little Fire Dragon usually appears in its true form, rarely taking on human shape. Akemi Homura is human, and since she is ultimately just part of the Enchanted Clan and not a pure member of the Dragon Race, it’s only after becoming part of the Enchanted Clan that she changes into that form...

Luckily, this form is not particularly unsightly, but those uninformed might easily associate it with a Demon... Well, that’s not a good thing.

Furthermore, Fang Zheng can sense that, now that Akemi Homura has been transformed into the Enchanted Clan of the Time Dragon, the causality lines entwining her have vanished. At the same time, other originally twisted spiral world lines are beginning to gradually return to normal. However, there remains one final hurdle.

Suddenly, Fang Zheng extends a hand and pats Akemi Homura, pushing her away from him. Then he raises his head and lifts his right hand. In the next moment, the Pitch Black Greatsword previously embedded in the ground surges upwards and returns to Fang Zheng’s hand. Simultaneously, a massive, snake-like silhouette slowly materializes above Fang Zheng’s head, seemingly spiraling.

”Grand Verse of Fate, activate!”

With Fang Zheng’s roar, the bright and dazzling Flame of Existence rapidly bursts forth, forming a vast and complex Free Method Array that spreads in all directions.

The world begins to tremble.

This is the shudder of old rules shattering and new rules being established.

Once, the old order was completely destroyed and dismantled. Yet, on its ruins, a brand new order will reemerge!

Traversing past, present, and future!

Fang Zheng closes his eyes, and soon, scenes unfold before him.

The appearance of Soul Gems, the emergence of Magical Girls, the advent of Witches... all of these have traversed the history of human civilization. Now, what he must do is correct these.

Without QB, many would not become Magical Girls, but with this absence comes another issue.

That is, without QB, what about the wishes and miracles the QBs realized?

Things like resurrecting oneself or one’s family can be set aside, but what about humanity? What about the history tied to human civilization?

If this were solely about the people of this world, there might still be some concerns.

But Fang Zheng is indifferent.

Because no matter what, life — will find a way.

Erasing all of the QB species, human civilization will restart without their interference.

Soon, entirely different scenes appear again before Fang Zheng.

Without QB, humanity once again begins advancing from a primitive civilization. Witches turn into Nightmares, birthed from people’s malevolent thoughts, running rampant and attacking at will. Humans fear them, labeling them as demons, monsters.

However, there are also those brimming with courage who face these creatures.

They draw strength from humanity’s struggle, dreams of the future, and the resolve to protect their loved ones, becoming Magical Girls who traverse the night, eliminating these evil Nightmares. Many among them have sacrificed their lives to protect others, while some chose to resist, and even some have fallen.

Nevertheless, civilization will develop.

No matter what, civilization will progress. Human history continues forward. What they did might have changed history, or perhaps not, it could have been significantly meaningful, or not at all. Yet they continue to selflessly fight for humanity. Because this is their mission, their duty.

Just like those Paladins, guarding justice, punishing evil.

And the Magical Girls traveling through different eras, no matter what fate they faced in life, after death — will rest in peace.

Meanwhile, Fang Zheng also feels something igniting within him.

It’s somewhat like the Primordial Fire, but different.

Fang Zheng can feel that the flame within him is now more intense, more powerful, filled with a potent force he had never felt before.

If one were to describe it... it’s like feeling that his heart has transformed from flesh and blood into a nuclear-powered mechanical creation.

Powerful, stable.

Fang Zheng slowly opens his eyes, and simultaneously, a system prompt of the Dimensional Codex appears before him.
