Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

”Uh, how should I explain this? Just treat him as a Konoha shinobi...”

Seiryū scratched his head.

He was a transmigrator. The theory of parallel space-time was something very common to him.

Besides, he had already transmigrated into this world. The existence of parallel space-time in this world was not strange at all.

But for people in this world, it was undoubtedly something unbelievable.

The main reason was that Seiryū was too lazy to explain it.

It was too troublesome.

”Just treat him as? Do you think this is a children’s game?”

Tsunade glanced sideways at Seiryū, snorted coldly, and displayed the authority of a Sensei. ”Explain everything to me clearly right now!!”

So mysterious.

What tricks was this brat playing again?

With how smart he was, it should be impossible for him to be deceived.

There must be some reason behind this, and as the leading Jōnin, she needed to know every uncertain factor.

”Alright, come over here first. This matter is really difficult to explain...”

Looking at Tsunade’s expression, Seiryū knew her personality. She would definitely get to the bottom of it.

He felt somewhat helpless.

Although Naruto was from a parallel space-time, and his own appearance had already changed the original storyline.

It should not affect the future too much.

However...

Right now he was ”Sage Seiryū.” That identity was created by himself, so he had to keep playing the role.

He absolutely could not be exposed.

Tsunade looked at Seiryū strangely, but she did not object.

She followed him to another side.

Leaving Naruto and Sara looking at each other.

Tsunade crossed her arms, which made her chest appear even more impressive. She glanced at Seiryū and said, ”Go on. What exactly is going on now?”

”I happened to run into him at a certain place earlier. Because he was wearing a Konoha forehead protector, so... blah blah...”

Seiryū briefly described the general situation of meeting Naruto.

After that, he considered his wording and continued, ”According to my deduction, he is indeed a Konoha shinobi. But he should not be a Konoha shinobi that we are familiar with.”

”He said he came from Konoha Year 66, which is twenty years in the future from now. And he should be...”

Before Seiryū finished speaking, Tsunade impatiently interrupted him. ”Wait a moment!”

”Are you having another episode? You actually believe something like that? You are usually quite smart, so why are you suddenly acting confused?”

Tsunade felt that Seiryū must be having an episode.

A shinobi from twenty years in the future?

No matter how she listened, it sounded unreliable.

Yet Seiryū believed it?

This brat should not be that stupid, right?

”You are the one having an episode. When have I ever been sick?”

Seiryū glared at Tsunade, somewhat unhappy.

He had never been sick.

”Do not interrupt me. I have already gained his trust using the identity of ’Sage Seiryū,’ and I also obtained quite a lot of information from him. The credibility is very high.”

”Just the fact that he has mastered Rasengan and is wearing a Konoha forehead protector shows that he has an inseparable connection with Konoha.”

Tsunade caught the key point and tilted her head. ”Sage Seiryū? Rasengan?”

”Do not worry about the Sage Seiryū part...”

Looking at Tsunade tilting her head, Seiryū continued, ”At present, the people who have learned Rasengan are only me, Jiraiya-sensei, and senpai. Others have no channel to learn it!”

Tsunade frowned and guessed, ”Jiraiya travels outside all year. Perhaps he accepted another disciple again?”

”Very unlikely!”

Seiryū began to make things up. ”Because I asked him. His Rasengan was indeed taught by Jiraiya-sensei, but there is something that caught my attention.”

”In his words, the one who developed and perfected Rasengan is the Fourth Hokage. And the Fourth Hokage... is Minato-senpai.”

”This is very unusual. Everyone knows that Rasengan was developed and perfected by me, Jiraiya-sensei, and Minato-senpai together. But he does not know me at all!”

”The most important point is that he has already developed and perfected a Rasengan that incorporates nature transformation. This is a technique that neither senpai nor I have mastered yet.”

”So there is only one explanation. He is a Konoha shinobi from the future!”

”There is another point. He called you Tsunade grandma. Obviously he knows you, and his name is Uzumaki Naruto...”

Naruto had naturally not said these things.

But Seiryū needed an excuse for how he knew Naruto’s situation. He could not just make up some nonsense about ’calculating with my fingers’ to Tsunade.

Do not joke.

That could fool Naruto, but it would not fool Tsunade.

If Tsunade really investigated thoroughly, he could not exactly say that he was a transmigrator.

He would end up having his brain examined.

He needed to guide Tsunade to think in the direction of parallel space-time.

Tsunade fell silent.

Then her brows furrowed even more deeply. She muttered, ”I will marry and have children in the future? My husband’s surname is even Uzumaki?”

After listening to Seiryū’s words, Tsunade believed this unbelievable matter a little.

Well, only a little.

However...

What made her frown was that she would actually marry and have children in the future?

And her husband would even be from the Uzumaki clan?

The Uzumaki clan...

Was not the brat in front of her also one?

No, that could not be possible, right?

For some reason, a strange feeling rose in Tsunade’s heart.

Would the age difference not be too large?

”What are you thinking about? Who said you would marry and have children? Based on the information he revealed, he should be similar to Kushina and me. Someone from the Uzumaki clan who was taken in by Konoha.”

Seiryū was speechless.

Marry and have children?

Why do you not just fly into the sky?

Hearing this, Tsunade smiled. ”That is what I thought. How could that be possible? How could I be with you...”

Her words suddenly stopped.

She shook her head.

Then she thought of something else, and her tone became somewhat serious. ”You said this possible future Konoha shinobi said that Rasengan was developed and perfected by the Fourth Hokage, which means Minato. And he does not know about your existence...”

”That means you...”

Assuming that Uzumaki Naruto really was a Konoha shinobi from the future.

Why would he not know Seiryū?

Could it be that at some point in the future...

Thinking of this, Tsunade suddenly clenched her hands tightly.

Something like that...

”No, I did not die. Well, maybe I did die? Hmm, how should I put it?”

Seiryū knew what Tsunade was thinking.

So he explained, ”I suspect he comes from a space-time where the historical process is somewhat different from ours.”

”In that space-time, ’I’ may have died. So the one who developed and perfected Rasengan became Minato-senpai.”

”As for Minato-senpai becoming Hokage, I am not surprised at all.”

”I was about to say this earlier, but you interrupted me.”

It was time to explain the theory of parallel space-time to Tsunade.

Seriously.

Being a plagiarist even for this kind of theory was really something.

Tsunade looked confused, her brows tightly knitted as she asked, ”A space-time with a different historical process? What does that mean?”

”Well, this is an interesting hypothesis I came up with based on what he revealed.”

Seiryū began his explanation. ”For example, when Uncle Shinku brought me back to Konoha, if I had not awakened that special physique under severe injury, would I not have died already?”

”If I died, then Konoha would naturally not have my existence. Without my existence, Jiraiya-sensei would not have taken me as a disciple. Without becoming his disciple, I would not have developed and perfected Rasengan together with Jiraiya-sensei and senpai.”

”So with me and without me, two completely different historical processes would appear.”

”If one event leads to different circumstances, then it will evolve into two different historical processes.”

”That is roughly what it means.”

At the end, Seiryū shrugged. ”Of course, this is just my guess. Whether it is actually true or not, I do not know.”
