”Little Seiryū, what are you thinking about?”

Seeing that Seiryū had been silent, Kushina felt curious.

This did not seem like his usual personality.

Her gaze moved back and forth between Seiryū, Kurenai, and Rin.

She teased meaningfully, ”Don’t tell me you think we interrupted your date?”

Seiryū glanced at her and said helplessly, ”It’s just eating ramen. Why does it sound strange when you say it?”

Kurenai muttered, ”It’s not a date!”

Rin, however, blushed slightly.

She remembered what Seiryū had said earlier.

Did the three of them really look like they were on a date?

Rin’s face turned red as she explained softly, ”Today I just wanted to thank Seiryū and Kurenai for taking care of me normally, so I invited them to eat ramen.”

”Oh.”

Kushina looked at Rin’s slightly flushed face and stretched out the tone of her voice.

”So that’s how it is.”

As a reliable and mature woman, she had already figured out something from Rin’s blushing.

Moreover, whenever Seiryū’s name was mentioned normally, Rin would quietly perk up her ears to listen.

That already explained a lot.

Seiryū really was popular with girls.

But that made sense. After all, Seiryū’s appearance alone was enough.

It would be strange if young girls did not like him.

However, Obito might be disappointed.

The girl he liked had fallen for someone else.

Hopefully when he learned about this, he would not be too sad.

Seiryū ignored Kushina’s strange tone and instead spoke to Minato.

”Senpai, after you finish eating, could you come to my house? I want to discuss some ninjutsu related matters with you.”

Although the storyline had changed, that did not necessarily mean the Rōran mission would disappear.

The Third Hokage might still assign the mission to Minato.

Besides, Seiryū really did have some ninjutsu matters he wanted to discuss with him.

”Discuss ninjutsu?”

Minato looked slightly surprised.

A genius like Seiryū actually needed to discuss ninjutsu with him?

Interesting.

Minato did not refuse and nodded with a smile.

”Of course. I’m also curious about what kind of ninjutsu problem could trouble you.”

”Just don’t keep the Flying Thunder God kunai in your ninja pouch. After Kushina and I finish eating, we’ll come find you.”

Seiryū had the Flying Thunder God kunai Minato had given him.

It was the coordinate for the Flying Thunder God Technique. With a single thought, Minato could instantly teleport to Seiryū.

”No need to go through that trouble.”

Seiryū waved his hand and pointed at the house in front.

”This is my house. I just bought it two days ago.”

From now on, this would be another one of his homes.

The Yūhi residence, Tsunade’s house, and Seiryū’s house.

He now had three places to stay in Konoha.

Minato fell silent.

This kid was really rich.

Even as a Jōnin, he did not have the ability to buy a house like this.

”I’ll wait for you at home.”

After briefly saying goodbye to Minato and Kushina, Seiryū and the others returned to the house.

Not long after, Minato and Kushina finished eating and arrived at Seiryū’s house.

After drinking a few sips of tea, Minato looked at Seiryū and said,

”Seiryū, you mentioned earlier that you wanted to discuss ninjutsu. What exactly is it?”

Seiryū smiled.

”It’s nothing serious. I just wanted to ask how far you’ve progressed in developing nature transformation for the Rasengan.”

After the Rasengan had been fully developed and perfected, further derivative development of the Rasengan had mostly been studied by Minato.

Many types of Rasengan that Seiryū currently mastered were actually first developed by Minato.

Seiryū was basically freeloading.

However, after encountering Kakuzu last time, Seiryū also planned to develop Wind Release: Rasenshuriken as soon as possible.

If they met again in the future, he could give Kakuzu something even stronger.

”Oh, that.”

Minato smiled and explained,

”I’ve made some progress, but it’s not very significant. Mainly because I haven’t had much free time recently.”

The Rasengan had already been developed and perfected for some time.

Naturally, Minato began researching the integration of nature transformation.

But the progress was not very fast.

The difficulty was comparable to developing an S rank ninjutsu.

It was not easy.

Hearing that there had been some progress, Seiryū became interested and asked curiously, ”Senpai, what nature transformation are you planning to integrate?”

”Fire Release.”

Minato answered.

”I think Fire Release matches the Rasengan quite well. Adding the burning effect of Fire Release on top of the Rasengan’s destructive power might produce unexpected results.”

”Fire Release?”

Seiryū was not too surprised.

If he had never seen Wind Release: Rasenshuriken before, he would also think other chakra nature transformations were better suited than Wind Release.

If he remembered correctly, there was indeed a Rasengan infused with Fire Release nature transformation.

In the games, the Great Flame Rasengan appeared, which was one of Jiraiya’s techniques.

Seiryū said, ”Senpai, could you show it to me? I’ve also been planning to try developing a Rasengan that incorporates nature transformation.”

”Haha, of course.”

Minato had no intention of refusing. He would never underestimate Seiryū’s talent.

He smiled gently.

”But this isn’t the place to demonstrate it. It might explode. I don’t want to damage your new house. I can’t afford to compensate you.”

Seiryū nodded.

”Then let’s go to Training Ground Three.”

But at that moment, there was a sudden sound.

An ANBU ninja wearing a fox mask appeared in a flash.

He scanned the room.

Then he looked at Seiryū and Minato. A distorted voice came from behind the mask.

”Jōnin Minato, Genin Seiryū. By order of the Third Hokage, you are summoned to the Hokage’s office.”

After speaking, he formed a hand seal. His figure turned into white smoke and disappeared, coming and going quickly, acting decisively.

This left everyone present surprised.

”The Third Hokage wants to see me?”

Seiryū raised an eyebrow.

ANBU coming to find Minato was not surprising.

It might be related to the mission concerning Rōran.

But why was he included?

Could it be related to Tsunade?

That thought suddenly appeared in Seiryū’s mind.

He belonged to Tsunade. The Third Hokage normally would not assign him a mission without going through Tsunade.

If the Third Hokage was calling for him now, it might be related to Tsunade.

Minato looked at Kushina and spoke apologetically.

”Sorry, Kushina. It’s probably an urgent mission. I can’t accompany you today.”

”Alright, alright. If the Third Hokage is calling you, it must be an important mission. Just make it up to me next time.”

Although Kushina felt slightly dissatisfied, she was not unreasonable.

If ANBU personally came to summon Minato, it was clearly an important mission.

Sometimes having such an outstanding boyfriend was also quite troublesome.
