Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

”Who knows what she was angry about. She is getting more and more irritable, that bad woman...”

In a relatively hidden spot, Seiryū used medical ninjutsu to relieve the pain.

A large bump had almost formed on his head.

Of course, it was Tsunade’s doing. The consequence of fooling around for a moment.

Now he and Tsunade had split up.

He would go find the queen of Rōran, while Tsunade would go find the minister Anrokuzan.

Tsunade’s exact words to Seiryū were, ”This is your test. At the same time, we will see whether the queen of Rōran will repay you with marriage. You are just a little brat whose hair has not even fully grown, yet you are already thinking about nonsense like that!”

He was only joking around, yet she took it too seriously.

”Forget it. Where should I go to find the queen of Rōran next?”

The effect of medical ninjutsu was quite good, his head no longer hurt.

Seiryū began thinking about how to complete this test.

”I still remember the general plot of the Lost Tower, but the timing is hard to judge. I wonder when the ’time traveler’ will appear. Could it be too early?”

Seiryū began thinking.

They had definitely not arrived late.

After all, Rōran had not fallen into chaos yet, which meant the Naruto who traveled through time might not have appeared yet.

So where should he go to find the queen of Rōran now?

”Not having sensory ninjutsu is really inconvenient. I wonder if Kushina-nee knows the training method for Mind’s Eye of the Kagura.”

Seiryū slowly exhaled.

Then he stroked his chin and muttered, ”It seems that among Kidō there are also Bakudō that can sense the position of spiritual pressure.”

”Unfortunately the system releases tasks randomly, and the rewards are also random. Honestly speaking, the system is still a bit unreliable.”

The disadvantage of not learning sensory ninjutsu had appeared.

Trying to find someone was very inconvenient.

”In the movie, Naruto met the queen of Rōran underground. He woke up because of singing, so it is not like there is no clue.”

Seiryū muttered to himself.

He began moving, searching for an entrance that led underground.

Soon he found one. Without thinking much, Seiryū jumped down.

After turning left and right and passing through several dark tunnels,

Seiryū’s ears twitched. He heard a gentle singing voice coming from the end of the tunnel.

There was also light ahead.

Seiryū slightly grinned.

”It seems the timing is about right, and I did not come to the wrong place.”

Who would casually sing underground in a place like this?

Only the queen of Rōran who looked pure and foolish in that photo would do something like that.

The direction was correct.

Seiryū quickened his pace and arrived at an open space.

It looked like a ruin, with many broken fragments of buildings scattered around the area.

From where Seiryū stood, a beautiful girl with long red hair tied into a ponytail was sitting on a stone and singing.

She wore pink casual clothes, long slender legs covered in black stockings, and long boots on her feet.

”Onee-san, are you in a bad mood? Your singing sounds a little sad. Do you need me to comfort you? I am not good at many things, but I am especially good at comforting people.”

Seiryū started a conversation.

He did have some good qualities.

What he said earlier was only a joke.

But saving a deceived beautiful girl was also something he felt obligated to do.

”Hm?”

In the underground space where only singing could be heard, Seiryū’s sudden voice was naturally very noticeable.

Sara, the queen of Rōran who had been singing, suddenly stopped.

She turned her head toward the direction of the voice.

Perhaps because of Seiryū’s appearance and age,

Sara remained cautious but did not turn and run. She asked warily,

”Who are you? Why are you here?”

This was her mother’s tomb.

Normally, no one came here except her.

So why was there suddenly a child here?

Seiryū showed a sorrowful expression and began speaking nonsense.

”I am actually your younger brother from the same father but a different mother who has been wandering outside. I also have half the inheritance rights to Rōran. I came back this time to inherit half of Rōran, sister!”

Sara did not believe this story at all. She began retreating cautiously.

”Who exactly are you?”

A younger brother from the same father but a different mother?

Who would believe such nonsense?

Her father loved her mother deeply. It was impossible that he had other women.

Moreover, her father did not have red hair. Her hair color came from her mother, and only the queen had the right to inherit Rōran.

Because only they could control the Ryūmyaku.

Seiryū looked heartbroken and said in a wronged tone, ”Why do you not believe me? I really am your brother. Look at my hair color, it is exactly the same as yours. How can you refuse to acknowledge me?”

”I wandered outside and suffered so much before finally reaching this place...”

”Hey, do not run!”

Seeing her turn to run, Seiryū raised his hand and released a Bakudō.

”Bakudō #4. Hainawa.”

Golden threads shot out like spirit snakes and bound Sara.

Sara, who had been bound, bit her red lips and said nothing. She simply stared at Seiryū with her eyes.

There was fear, but also defiance and confusion.

Who exactly was this child?

Seeing this, Seiryū could not keep joking anymore. He said helplessly,

”Alright, alright. Do not look at me like that, as if I am the villain.”

”I was just joking with you. I saw that you seemed a little sad just now and wanted to ease the atmosphere.”

”I am from Konoha...”

Before Seiryū could explain his identity, the sound of something cutting through the air suddenly rang out. A shuriken flew straight toward him.

Seiryū reacted quickly. His body moved and he dodged the shuriken.

Then he turned his head and looked toward the direction it came from.

A teenage boy with short blond hair, wearing a forehead protector and dressed in black and orange clothing, appeared in a flash and protected Sara behind him.

Three whisker marks were visible on his face.

He stared at Seiryū with vigilance.

”Tsk, a living Naruto.”

Seeing this person, Seiryū’s eyes flashed.

Familiar.

Too familiar.

This blond teenager was Naruto.

And he looked exactly the same as before. It was obviously the Uzumaki Naruto from the original story.

”As a ninja, even if you are just a child, attacking an unarmed girl is too much!”

”Are you an accomplice of Mukade? That kind of technique must also be a type of puppet technique, right?”

Naruto, who had traveled through time from a future parallel timeline due to the distortion of time caused by the Ryūmyaku, stared at Seiryū with vigilance.

He had already prepared to fight.

He had been awakened by the sound of their conversation.

As soon as he woke up, he saw Seiryū attacking Sara.

Although he did not know what had happened, he saw a ninja using what seemed to be a puppet technique on an unarmed girl, controlling her.

That was clearly villain behavior.

With his strong sense of justice, Naruto naturally would not stand by and watch.

So he immediately took action.

To rescue the girl.

Before Seiryū could speak, Naruto pulled out a special chakra dagger from his waist.

Chakra flowed into it and formed a blade. With one slash, he cut through the Bakudō #4. Hainawa that was binding Sara.

”You should leave fir...”

Naruto had just begun telling Sara to leave when the frightened and confused Sara kicked him in the lower back.

Caught off guard, Naruto cried out ”Ouch” as his body lurched forward, nearly falling.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, Sara glanced at both of them one last time.

Who exactly were these two people?

Why were they here?

What were their intentions?

Although she was full of confusion.

Sara did not dare stay any longer. She ran into a nearby tunnel without looking back.

With a series of clicking sounds, the gate of that passage closed completely.
