Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Having arrived at the maintenance site.

Chen Ming once again surveyed the entire surroundings.

There was no one here, only some robots performing basic tasks.

And as Chen Ming arrived at the maintenance site, he could also notice that this place was similarly a standalone module, separate like the port, isolated from other modules on the Space Station.

It seems that all externally accessible parts of this Space Station must have been isolated, convenient for unloading this module at any time.

And convenient for launching an attack directly on the unloaded module after unloading.

At this moment, as Chen Ming looked back, the port he just came from was in full view from this position, and this design was much like Pirate Space Station over there.

It was clear that the Space Station was originally not divided like it is now, before the transformation it definitely had an integrated design like the Pirate Space Station.

Such a design definitely has something wrong with it.

”What are you looking at, it’s just me working here.”

Hearing this, Chen Ming withdrew his gaze, looked at Uncle Mao walking ahead, and asked: ”Are you the Maintenance Master?”

”Just part-time, you see these robots here, they’re the ones doing the work, while I’m usually stationed at the rescue team over there, reporting whenever a distress signal is seen. You’re the first one I’ve rescued in the past six months, really rare.”

”You said you’re in security, right?”

”I was before, now I’m a Bounty Hunter, causing trouble for pirates.”

”Hunter, hunter, good, catch more criminals, that’s great.”

From Uncle Mao’s current behavior, Chen Ming felt he was not like Zuo Jing, but without evidence, it’s hard to say.

Therefore, he chose to remain silent.

Uncle Mao also understood An Wuping’s personality, and had no issues with An Wuping not responding to him.

He just clicked a few times on a device in front of him and beckoned Chen Ming over.

On the device panel he just operated, a three-dimensional structure diagram of Chen Ming’s damaged Sentinel spaceship was displayed.

”Just scanned now, your spaceship is dragged here, no robot has gone up yet.”

”Everything on the spaceship has been inventoried for you, have a look. If anything’s missing, it must have fallen out when you were in the cloud, don’t blame me.”

”I won’t.”

Chen Ming was quite clear about what remained on the spaceship after enduring the baptism in the Superspace Channel cloud.

Regardless, it’s all worthless stuff, naturally no point in complicating things unnecessarily.

After roughly looking through it, Chen Ming nodded to Uncle Mao.

Uncle Mao continued to adjust the equipment and said: ”The inspection report is out, take a look.”

”Our conditions aren’t great here, we can fix your spaceship’s hull and main control, but for the armor, you’ll have to figure it out yourself later. Fixing these two should get you flying to the nearest colony as long as you don’t rush into the cloud again.”

You can see the price, right? If there are any issues with the material, labor, or mechanical fees, say so now.

Just as Chen Ming was about to say he had no issues, he suddenly heard the roar of engines behind him.

He immediately turned his head to look back, and at the port, a Destroyer ship had suddenly landed.

Judging by the spaceship’s model and paint, it seemed like a government ship.

The spaceship’s hatch quickly opened, and a man in his thirties, dressed in a suit and surrounded by several people, stepped out.

He smiled as he looked at the crowd welcoming him at the Space Station port, seemed to have some standing.

”Who is that man?”

Not urging Chen Ming for a response to the price question, and also looking at the port, Uncle Mao said: ”Seems like a government official, been coming here several times these days, mysterious, not sure what he’s here for.”

Government?

Chen Ming pondered what connection this ecological observation Space Station could have with the government, able to warrant several visits within days?

Perhaps this government personnel has an indescribable relationship with Zuo Jing.

Chen Ming first memorized the appearance, keeping suspicion in his heart.

But as the one speaking was a worker on this Space Station, Uncle Mao’s words couldn’t be taken entirely at face value, better to observe more.

”Hey, stop staring.”

Uncle Mao suddenly reached out and knocked on the Power Armor on Chen Ming’s body and said: ”Let’s settle the bill first.”

Chen Ming took one last look at that person before turning away, pulling out the terminal to prepare payment.

During payment, he casually asked: ”Can the Power Armor be repaired?”

Uncle Mao quickly denied it: ”No way, who’d dare fix it for you.”

”What about a charging place?”

Uncle Mao pointed to the corner.

Chen Ming said nothing, silently paying the money needed for spaceship maintenance.

Then he walked over to the corner of the maintenance site, jumped out of the Power Armor, and, like a regular Power Armor owner, plugged in the cable to power up the armor.

Uncle Mao watched Chen Ming’s actions, slightly relieved, didn’t say much about Chen Ming’s military-grade Power Armor either.

He just subconsciously focused on Chen Ming, this An Wuping’s fake body’s height around one meter ninety to nearly two meters.

But it was just a glance, he didn’t say anything more.

And just when Chen Ming looked towards the adjacent port from the maintenance site.

At the port, the suit-clad person who came down from the spaceship also noticed the situation at the maintenance site.

After all, the military-grade Power Armor Chen Ming was just wearing really stood out.
