Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

The process of cultivating the artificial body was the same.

The Insect Queen filled it with consciousness herself, and when Chen Ming needed to cooperate during the experiment, he would extract its consciousness so that his consciousness could enter the artificial body.

Even for the artificial body, before Chen Ming controlled it, a certain amount of the Insect Queen’s consciousness was present within.

Chen Ming tentatively wanted the Insect Queen not to do this, not to protect the insect eggs with its consciousness.

But immediately, the Insect Queen responded with extreme resistance for the first time, although it eventually agreed to Chen Ming’s request.

Of course, Chen Ming knew better than to risk it, and quickly withdrew his request.

Through these recent experiences, he basically understood what this instinct of the Insect Queen was all about.

If the history of this Thorn Insect Race could be traced, then one could basically confirm how many years ago dimensional infection had already appeared based on this species’ history.

Unfortunately, no more information could be obtained from the Insect Queen right now.

Memory of the Insect Race tends to be lost with each generation, and the Insect Queen’s memory that Chen Ming has is only a part of the first generation, not the entirety.

So if Chen Ming wanted to know more, he would have to start with the first generation Insect Queen.

But the first generation Insect Queen is long lost somewhere unknown, and encountering it is even rarer than finding a needle in a haystack.

For now, he decided to let it go.

At least it could be confirmed that the reason why the Insect Queen had never encountered problems similar to dimensional infection during the artificial body experiment and New Insect Race hatching process.

And Chen Ming did not have to worry in the future about the Insect Race being affected by him, as a dimensional infection firsthand experiencer, causing the dimensional infection effect to occur on the Insect Queen.

Chen Ming recorded down the Insect Queen’s instinct to protect the Insect Race bodies without consciousness during the cultivation process with its own consciousness.

Then he shifted his focus back to An Wuping, who had recently arrived within the Empire’s territory.

An Wuping’s mission was determined from the start.

That is, to help Chen Ming do things he couldn’t do personally or things that were inconvenient for him to do personally.

For example, eliminate someone from the opposing faction in the Fourteenth Legion he found disagreeable.

Also, help Chen Ming run around a few Star Realms, searching for Zuo Jing’s traces.

Previously, Chen Ming obtained the location of a Zuo Jing’s stronghold from the Vice Admiral’s illegitimate child in the two Industrial Colonies now under his control which is reserved for An Wuping.

All matters related to Zuo Jing, Chen Ming intended for An Wuping to handle, so this current task was no exception.

However, An Wuping couldn’t directly proceed to Cai Mo -3 because an inexplicable figure might immediately be monitored by those unaware from his side.

Chen Ming did not want An Wuping to be monitored by the president or someone arranged by the Empire, nor did he want to reveal any connection between An Wuping and himself.

Thus, he had to gradually arrange to extend An Wuping’s action logic to the Cai Mo Star Realm.

And he needed to make it clear to everyone that An Wuping was an ally, not an enemy.

This required a certain amount of groundwork.

The best groundwork content was Zuo Jing’s corpse.

The location of Zuo Jing’s stronghold that Chen Ming intentionally concealed was An Wuping’s next inevitable path.

He had always been personally controlling and arranging everything for An Wuping, ever since the day of its creation.

When An Wuping was first created, he directly used a spaceship to send An Wuping near the Empire.

Without entering the Empire’s territory, he just placed An Wuping in a large escape pod which only activated the distress signal function but not the cold hibernation function, throwing it into space.

After all, An Wuping’s physical strength could easily withstand being in space without much issue.

Moreover, Chen Ming had beforehand confirmed through Old Wu’s information that there was a Pirate Fleet actively operating in the nearby Star Realm.

The distress signal naturally caught the attention of this Pirate Fleet.

Then Chen Ming directly manipulated An Wuping to single-handedly infiltrate this Pirate Fleet’s flagship.

Utilizing a human form embedded with military-grade Power Armor, capable of fitting into a large cold hibernation pod, he slaughtered nearly all the pirates on board.

Leaving only those who surrendered, had no bounty on their heads, and could operate the spaceship.

By commanding and operating the strongest flagship in battle, half of the remaining pirate ships were destroyed, and the rest of the pirates all chose to surrender.

As a result, An Wuping thoroughly seized control of the Pirate Fleet and led the battered fleet towards the nearest Pirate Space Station.

Due to entering human society, Chen Ming had to be mindful while portraying An Wuping in front of most people.

And to ensure An Wuping won’t be suspected in the future, Chen Ming had to design everything about An Wuping from the moment it stepped into the Empire.

Such as background story, personality, character setting, etc.

The background story was easy to solve, there were many dark hands within the Empire, just a decent background story would suffice.

Personality and character setting could be set to be dark and frenzied, ideally tinged with a disorder related to Spiritual Power.

For example, something Chen Ming recently learned about, the disease suffered by animals on Rimu Star affected by Mind Pulse.

Rage Syndrome.

Those animals suffered from Acute Rage Syndrome, whereas An Wuping’s affliction was Chronic.

Of course, it could also be Random Rage Syndrome, depending on Chen Ming’s needs.
