Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Lou Wei’s demeanor left Chen Ming uninterested in talking to him anymore.

He had come to provoke him for no reason, and it was only fitting that he ended up in such a situation.

Chen Ming sat back in his seat, watching as the pilot maneuvered the shuttle boat, soon arriving near the Stardust Level.

The area was now densely occupied by ships belonging to the government and military, with many personnel still busily working here.

They’ll likely be busy for a few more days.

After all, Chen Ming’s Spiritual Power could only apprehend those who left clear evidence related to Zuo Jing. Those without evidence could still hide among the crowd.

Chen Ming could not guarantee that everyone who continued to stay in the new residential area was unrelated to Zuo Jing.

Therefore, the government and military needed to rely on testimonies from others and some related evidence to identify these Zuo Jing individuals.

Up to now, the number of people on the colony associated with Zuo Jing had approached seventy thousand, a few thousand more than just a few hours ago, and this number continued to rise, showing a trend toward eighty thousand.

The citizens not related to Zuo Jing were fortunately informed, knowing that this large-scale operation targeted related Zuo Jing elements.

So generally, they stayed in their new houses to get used to the new environment and waited for this ordeal to end.

Anyone with insight could see the severity of this situation. The entire colony’s communication signals were blocked, and those metallic fluids definitely had ties with the rumored Psychic.

Being a hero at a time like this was suicide.

But it was different for those truly involved with Zuo Jing.

Many originally hidden Zuo Jing members wanted to act out of fear of identity exposure, such as taking hostages, creating destruction, and sowing chaos.

Of course, Chen Ming had anticipated such occurrences, so all these Zuo Jing members were immediately controlled and arrested by Lou Wei’s robots under his command, with none escaping.

Because the entire colony was now under Chen Ming’s control, there were only a few who dared to venture out at this time, making it easy to mark these individuals.

If any abnormal behavior was detected, the robots controlled by the Dusk core would descend from the sky aboard the shuttle boat.

Even if, by some luck, a Zuo Jing member managed to take a hostage and attempted to stir trouble,

the Dusk core here could notify Chen Ming, allowing him to use his Spiritual Power to resolve these issues directly.

In front of a Psychic, hostages were meaningless.

All Zuo Jing members exposed in the new residential area were ultimately handed over to the government and military.

Additionally, Chen Ming granted them partial access to the colony’s permissions and an interface to connect with Dusk, responsible for local security.

Once he left, handling Zuo Jing would be the government and military’s responsibility.

Of course, most of these permissions would be retracted later; Chen Ming didn’t need local military protection.

The colony’s security must remain entirely in his hands.

Next, once his Spiritual Power recovered sufficiently, he should continue to another Heavy Industry Colony within the same Star System, where there were still colonies and Zuo Jing members waiting for him to deal with.

But before leaving, he had to meet with government and military personnel to hand over some items.

After the shuttle boat landed near the Stardust Level,

before it even came to a full stop, Chen Ming jumped right down.

Several officials who had previously met with Chen Ming immediately noticed him and hurried over.

They all had bright expressions, greeting Chen Ming somewhat excitedly.

Chen Ming nodded slightly, then extended his hand, revealing three data chips in his palm, containing all the evidence Brilliant had tidily organized regarding the Zuo Jing members.

The representatives who had already obtained a set of evidence eagerly watched Chen Ming’s palm, knowing these determined their future achievements.

Handing over the three chips, Chen Ming said, ”Remember to keep them safe. If you happen to lose them, I have more here. Feel free to ask me for another.”

These were the basis for Chen Ming’s arrest operation of the colony’s personnel.

With these, the apprehended could be sent to where they belonged reasonably and legally.

Prison.

Or hell.

To cleanly excise the rotten flesh from this decaying colony, allowing fresh growth to begin anew.

Everyone was very satisfied.

The government saw the colony under their jurisdiction revitalized and gained some achievements for the subordinate security department.

The military saw a large number of Zuo Jing within the Empire being eradicated, gaining some military merits by the way.

Chen Ming, moreover, disposed of a huge amount of unwanted population.

A win-win-win situation.

Military officials carefully took the chips and placed them in a special storage container.

”Thank you for your trouble.”

”Mm, I also need to make a trip to the neighboring Heavy Industry Colony later to do similar things. I’ll need your help again then.”

”Certainly, certainly.”

Achievements are never too plentiful.

Moreover, not only did it actually remove a large number of Zuo Jing, but in terms of publicity, they could freely promote the arrest of Zuo Jing members in areas known for their widespread presence.
