Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

This kind of mental illness fits perfectly with An Wuping’s character, who suddenly grew three meters tall and turned into a ferocious monster.

Anyway, An Wuping’s ability to transform would be exposed sooner or later, and since he can transform back, it can be explained as spiritual energy.

Therefore, plans were made in advance for this aspect, so that if someone were to investigate like they did with Chen Ming’s background, there would be traces to follow.

Moreover, this character design makes it convenient for Chen Ming to have An Wuping conveniently appear nearby when he wants to kill someone, and then suddenly go berserk and kill the person.

Later, after An Wuping arrived with the pirate fleet at the nearby Pirate Space Station, Chen Ming also had An Wuping disembark the spacecraft wearing power armor.

He demonstrated that he had a set of old military power armor, which might have been stolen, seized, or originally belonged to him.

Thus, the rumors spread among the pirates weren’t far-fetched; at least it wasn’t about a person breaking into a mule by sheer physical strength and robbing pirates, so no one had unnecessary suspicions about An Wuping.

And those pirates who were terrified after An Wuping in power armor single-handedly boarded the ship and killed all those who resisted and the management also deterred some people from trying to seize this valuable equipment for ordinary pirates.

In the end, An Wuping smoothly found the local bigwig with the guide of some captured pirates and obtained a fake identity.

He then sold all the ships and disbanded all the pirates.

Subsequently, he purchased a heavily modified, single-pilot second-hand frigate at the Pirate Space Station.

He also bought a roughly modified second-hand robot and some supplies.

The remaining money was spent by Chen Ming on food and drinks at the Pirate Space Station.

One reason was to expand An Wuping’s persona and leave more traces at the Pirate Space Station.

Another reason is that Chen Ming genuinely wanted to do this.

Of course, Chen Ming didn’t indulge recklessly like Old Wu; he still had his limits.

After spending most of the money, Chen Ming controlled An Wuping to pilot the ship and leave that pirate star system in the Edge Star Realm.

After taking down a pirate fleet that came to cause trouble, Chen Ming brought several frozen pirate corpses from his ship’s cold storage, each with bounties on their heads, to the local government to collect the rewards.

Although these pirates’ bounties weren’t high, obtaining these bounties gave the fake identity a layer of government protection.

This allowed An Wuping to reside in some colonies long-term without being simply considered an illegal resident.

Later, Chen Ming used this identity to go to a nearby star system’s general colony.

He spent a day finding a place to stay and then spent an entire day staking out near a government department, targeting a government staff member in this star system.

After taking some time to knock the person unconscious, Chen Ming used the Insect Queen’s abilities to disguise An Wuping as this government staff, stole his identity, and infiltrated the government department.

Using this identity, he hacked into the local government system and found the local identity system database.

Chen Ming had never accessed this system before, and only now did he realize the identity system database was divided into two parts.

One is the local database that includes records from birth to death, and the other is for external populations.

The external population database is further divided into two parts.

One part includes those who have supporting records that can be cross-referenced with other colonial databases, meaning individuals with such documents wouldn’t be considered illegal residents or have fake identities.

Those who can’t be verified through other regional databases are likely to have fake identities or at least problematic ones.

An Wuping’s identity is in this database.
