Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

In any case, Chen Ming supports anyone who wants to do research or set up a project team.

With the cooperation provided by the controlled Mechanical Race and the uncontrolled Mechanical Race sent from outside for comparison, research conditions are certainly abundant.

No matter what is researched, apart from the results, the entire honor belongs to the researchers and their respective institutes. The more results the institute has, the more research funding it naturally receives, so Chen Ming doesn’t lose out.

Moreover, researchers are maintained for this purpose, there’s always a time when their help in research will be needed.

They have also assisted in previous studies like the Purgatory Core and Synchronous Accelerator Core.

Chen Ming plans to send the complete thesis on the Synchronous Accelerator Core to the institute later, which should keep the researchers busy for a while.

Next, he is waiting for another heritage from Bai Quan’s application for him to research.

Chen Ming already knows the name; it’s called the Catalytic Core.

Though what it catalyzes is unknown.

Chen Ming spent about two days finishing the institute’s matters.

While waiting for the arrival of the Catalytic Core, Chen Ming suddenly remembered what Bai Quan had previously mentioned about asking him to participate in a reconnaissance mission on the Mechanical Race.

Since Bai Quan agreed to it, there should be a subsequent follow-up to this matter.

It shouldn’t take too long.

Also, Chen Ming indeed perceives through old Wu and from the pricing of material acquisitions and various channels that the war with the Mechanical Race is indeed approaching.

He needs to prepare for this, getting ready for the upcoming war.

Right now, he just happens to have time, and there’s another matter he thought of some time ago but hasn’t resolved yet.

The relocation of the Mechanical Race cities and Insect Race nests.

Astronomically speaking, the planets where the Mechanical Race cities and Insect Race nests are located aren’t very suitable, Chen Ming must relocate them, otherwise, the Insect Race risks exposure.

There’s no question about the difficulty level of relocating the Insect Race, it’s currently not possible, but prioritizing the transfer of the Mechanical Race now is doable.

Chen Ming was able to relocate four Dusk Colonies before; it’s only one Mechanical Race city. Once a suitable location is found, relocation becomes simple.

Furthermore, as he can confirm that this star realm of the Mechanical Race is bound to perish under the Empire’s full attack, choosing a new location for the Mechanical Race necessitates some discussion.

In Chen Ming’s vision, the Mechanical Race city is a bridgehead where materials like Energy Crystals will be concentrated in the future and transported to the Empire,

with Dusk, controlled by Chen Ming, handling this instead of Chen Ming himself, so he temporarily must choose a location relatively closer to the Empire.

After all, the Mechanical Race’s star realm isn’t small, occupying the entire realm even quickly would take at least over a decade, not to mention that war might continue for several years.

Chen Ming can wait for the Empire to win the war against the Mechanical Race, continue expanding, and then consider relocation to other places.

So Chen Ming has chosen the first relocation destination for the Mechanical Race in the gap directly between the regions of the Mechanical Race and Dusk, pulled further out from the Empire’s direct passage.

It’s quite close to the previous location but closer to Chen Ming’s current first temporary stronghold, and the superspace channels around are denser, convenient for traveling between star systems.

Chen Ming could even consider building a semi-permanent structure here; multiple bridgeheads in the future wouldn’t be a bad thing.

As long as the location is found, and the tasks are handed over to Dusk, relocation can be completed in just a day, with the only issue being fuel consumption.

After completing these tasks.

Chen Ming’s thoughts once again returned to the matter related to Zuo Jing and dimensional infection.
