Chapter 285: Chapter 115 Dusk’s Urgency_4

”The pressure that needs to be endured in Dusk is beyond our imagination.”

”If we initiate contact with him again, exert external pressure, it’s not surprising if he takes some action.”

”Unless there’s an emergency, try to maintain the current status of indirect communication. This will also help our influence in the joint conference.”

”Moreover, the military plan doesn’t actually benefit us much.”

”If we can eliminate Dusk, it would certainly make us the first batch to explore new territories, but others would swarm in like sharks smelling blood.”

”If we suffer too many losses beforehand, even with the advantage, we might not be able to gain enough benefits, and we could even lose future competitiveness.”

”Therefore, we won’t participate in the subsequent raid. We will only be responsible for rescuing Chen Ming.”

The chairman took a sip of water and continued, ”If the plan can proceed smoothly as originally intended, I will proactively undertake the rescue and distraction task at the conference, so the Fourteenth Legion can independently raid Dusk’s base.”

”Our ships are strong enough for us to forcibly enter the star system where Chen Ming currently is and attract enough Dusk.”

”That’s settled. I will propose this at the next formal board meeting. If any of you have objections, just bring them up now.”

The chairman waited quietly for the other directors to speak up.

Unexpectedly, another director joined the communication channel.

It was the director who usually manages the various Pirate Space Stations.

This director, upon joining the communication channel, immediately spoke in a very urgent tone: ”I’ve just received an emergency message from the person in charge over at the Space Station.”

”Wu Ping’an contacted us proactively, saying Chen Ming is about to be moved to a new location by Dusk.”

”Where?”

”I’ve uploaded the star chart.”

The communication channel was silent for a while before the chairman spoke first, ”It seems our previous guess was wrong; Dusk didn’t assign Chen Ming to the final position from the beginning.”

”Instead, they’ve been preparing all along, and only today are they ready.”

”Luckily, we had considered this aspect before, but the plan must change.”

The chairman looked at the military affairs director and said, ”Notify the Legion, the meeting needs to be reconvened.”

Just as Sinda Corporation was about to get busy with the joint conference.

Chen Ming was in Dusk Colony’s factory, packing his belongings.

There weren’t many items; Chen Ming could use Spiritual Energy to send materials directly to the Maintenance Factory for storage.

The only trouble for Chen Ming now was the sixty-three escape pods.

However, as Chen Ming was pondering, Brilliant managed to get Chen Ming a Water Buffalo Level cargo ship.

Judging by the fresh damage on it, this was likely obtained from one of Dusk’s recent conflicts with humanity.

Chen Ming gladly accepted it; after all, everyone on the ship was surely dead. Not taking it would have been foolish.

Once Chen Ming had packed everything that needed to be taken onto the Water Buffalo.

Brilliant suddenly said to Chen Ming, ”Urgent notice, Mr. Chen, you must leave here today.”

”Now?”

”Yes.”

Chen Ming was stunned for a moment and asked, ”Why?”

”No reason.”

Chen Ming was instantly filled with confusion.

Dusk had just given him enough time to pack leisurely.

This sudden urgency, is there some unexpected situation?

Or is there a spy of Dusk among humans?

Several thoughts quickly flashed through Chen Ming’s mind.

But these guesses were soon completely ruled out.

Chen Ming had just informed Old Wu about his transfer, how many people could have gotten the message by now?

If everyone at the company who interacts with Old Wu could be a spy, then Sinda Corporation might as well close down directly.

So it must be another reason.

But Chen Ming couldn’t figure out why at all now.

He could only hurriedly pack some of his usual tools and things from the factory control room and board Iron Ore No.

Taking the newly acquired Water Buffalo, following Brilliant’s direction, heading into space.

Entered into Dusk’s fleet.

The Brilliant Level Cruiser controlled by Brilliant was waiting here for him.

Besides, there was also a Dusk’s Refraction Level heavy unmanned cruiser in the fleet.

A fleet of more than a hundred ships escorted by two cruisers, Chen Ming had no complaints.

No chance for him to escape or have any rescue opportunity.

But even if there was now, it might be too late, unless the company had long prepared and planned to come today.

Otherwise, it would be completely too late.

Finally, the situation Chen Ming fleetingly imagined didn’t happen.

Until the Teleportation Engines of Brilliant and Refraction started, no human ships appeared.

Chen Ming felt a slight regret, but by this time, he was indifferent.

He no longer hoped for anyone else to save him.

Once he’s moved, whether it’s the company or other forces, it would be significantly more difficult to contact and rescue him.

Now this situation merely solidified Chen Ming’s determination to rely only on himself.

Even if he’s taken deep into Dusk’s territory, he definitely has a way to leave in the future.

The Teleportation Engine soon took Chen Ming to a new star system.

As Chen Ming was about to observe the situation within the star system.

Chen Ming suddenly discovered Old Wu was proactively touching Dawn, which he had transformed.

And upon noticing the external camera of Dawn moving slightly, he helplessly shrugged his shoulders and pointed at the terminal in his hand.

The terminal was engaged in a video communication.

The scene on the other end was quite familiar to Chen Ming; it was the director’s office.

However, there were three people in the office.

Apart from the director, there were two people unknown to Chen Ming also in the video communication.

One was wearing a uniform that only senior management of Sinda Corporation would wear, and the other was dressed in the military uniform of the Fourteenth Legion.
