Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chapter 271: Chapter 112 The Development Strategy of the Fleet and Dusk_2

But unexpectedly, it wasn’t long before Zuo Jing, like something that grows from the ground, started its activities again.

One can only say that sometimes the situation at the Pirate Space Station is like this; what needs to be cleaned should be cleaned up quickly.

Otherwise, Old Wu’s safety might face issues.

However, the boss’s focus isn’t on Zuo Jing at the Space Station; instead, somewhat surprised, he asked Chen Ming, ”What ship did you use to take out Zuo Jing? How many ships did Zuo Jing’s fleet have?”

”Zuo Jing had three Mule ships and eleven Frigates, and along with them, the pirates had two Destroyers and seven Frigates. In the end, the pirates surrendered with just one Destroyer and seven Frigates remaining, Zuo Jing was completely wiped out.”

”I used just one Torrential Rain.”

A complete victory of one against twenty-three.

Such an achievement is hard to believe, but when it comes to Chen Ming, the boss remains quite convinced.

Moreover, the boss also noticed a small detail in Chen Ming’s words and said, ”Not bad, has your Spiritual Energy also improved?”

”I wouldn’t say so; it’s just an expansion of my use of Spiritual Energy.”

”Still, not bad, keep at it. I feel your future potential is definitely more than this.”

”I’ll remember to mention you to Old Wu as well. It’s always a task to completely eradicate Zuo Jing’s people, but within the Space Station, Zuo Jing doesn’t have much space for activities, so no need to worry too much.”

”Yes.”

”Alright then, do you have the recording? Send me a copy later.”

Chen Ming hesitated for a moment and said, ”I can’t fly my ship back. At most, there might be footage from the engineering ship and the pirate ship I used to imprison them; should I send it to you directly later?”

”That works too. Good luck over there in Dusk then, chat later.”

Communication ended.

Now, at the Dark Graveyard.

The pirates had all transferred onto the cheapest Sentinel ship designated by Chen Ming.

The remaining eight pirate ships, including the crew from one Destroyer, were all crammed tightly on it.

Though the conditions weren’t great, being alive is certainly better than being dead.

During communication, Chen Ming forced the pirate captain to open the hatch guard panel, isolating the internal and external environment of the spaceship.

He directly dismantled all external cameras on the Sentinel, and with the Electromagnetic Spear just taken off Iron Ore No., he wrecked the ship’s sensors.

Except for the engines, which couldn’t be dismantled due to the life support system, all functions allowing observation of the outside world were restricted by Chen Ming.

Before the boss’s people arrived.

Chen Ming had to deal with the remaining ships and the debris from the battle.

Handling these matters certainly required skills, so keeping things hidden was best.

Even though Chen Ming wasn’t currently at the Dark Graveyard, dealing with ships wasn’t too troublesome.

He just needed to use the engineering ship to dismantle the bridges of unpiloted ships, find a socket and connect a converter, allowing Gamma B to interface with it, making the ship Chen Ming’s.

The pirates had initially two Mule ships and seven Frigates; aside from one Mule blown up by fighter jets, one needed for the Sentinel to house pirate members.

The remaining Mule and six Frigates can all enter Chen Ming’s pocket.

Among these six remaining Frigates are one Sentinel, three Conquest, and two Expedition class armed merchant ships.

Overall value isn’t high, by fixing them all up to sell, factoring in the Mule, the net profit reaches slightly over a hundred and twenty million.

After deducting the cost of buying maintenance materials and compensating for battle damage, the profit wasn’t too bad.

Just a bit more effort, and another Torrential Rain could be at hand.

Of course, acquiring a second Torrential Rain can’t be rushed; Chen Ming has other thoughts.

When all seven pirate ships were under Chen Ming’s control, in the Superspace here at the Dark Graveyard, suddenly three more ships approached.

Judging by the direction and type of the approaching ships, Chen Ming recognized immediately that it was the boss’s personnel coming.

Among the three ships, two were ordinary Warrior Level Frigates.

The remaining ship was a Current Level similar to Refraction electromagnetic support ship.

Equipped with non-lethal electromagnetic weapons generally used only by Patrol Teams, and an exceptionally powerful tractor device similar to Iron Ore No.’s asteroid tractor, capable of towing ships.

These two ships seemed a bit shabby.

However, the Space Station had just engaged in combat with the military upfront, suffering heavy losses.

Sending out three ships should already be their best effort.

When the Space Station’s ships discovered the situation here, they sent a communication immediately saying, ”We are sent by Mr. Wu.”

Chen Ming confirmed with the boss that there were no issues and matter-of-factly replied, ”See that Sentinel? All crew members have been transferred onto it, it’s yours now.”

”Okay.”

In less than three lines, the matter was resolved.

After controlling the Sentinel loaded with pirates, the three ships swiftly left.

Ignoring the debris of nearby ships, sticking to protocol.

After people left, Chen Ming continued to clean up the battlefield.

Many remains with lost ship forms still persisted on the battlefield.

Though Chen Ming couldn’t control them, he could use the salvage compartments of the captured Mule class to gather these remains up and decide to dismantle them.

There were remnants of four Mules and eleven Frigates here.

Most of the ships had been obliterated under the terrifying power of the Terminator Fighters, leaving few remains.
