Chapter 264: Chapter 110 Terminator_3

And the frigates under the Destroyer were a mixed bunch.

Apart from two Suicide Ships transformed from Drum Level fuel transport ships, marked by Zuo Jing.

The fleet was mostly comprised of ships like the Sentinel, Conquest, and Hellhound, at most adding two Voyager Level ships commonly seen in Guard Level armed merchant ships.

Although the overall number of these two fleets was decent, all these ships had undergone rough modifications, leaving no guarantee of quality.

One could say that even the most valuable ships lose value when they fall into the hands of pirates, and the same was true for Zuo Jing.

So although the current situation was two versus twenty-three.

Chen Ming still had to say, the advantage is with me.

”Prepare for battle, regardless of the cost.”

”Yes.”

”Yes.”

Gamma B immediately responded to Chen Ming. He knew Chen Ming’s abilities and understood what Chen Ming meant by disregarding the cost.

However, Gamma Z seemed not quite used to it, or perhaps its computational power was restricted, as it took a moment longer to reply to Chen Ming.

Chen Ming did not mind but casually said to Gamma Z, who was not familiar with his situation, ”Gamma Z, activate the Terminator Core directly.”

”I have experience piloting the Torrential Rain, I should be able to...”

Chen Ming interrupted it directly, saying, ”I know, but you have to listen to me now, that’s an order.”

”...Yes.”

Chen Ming’s mandatory order was something Gamma Z could not refuse.

Soon, two fighters with dark red tail flames flew out from the Torrent Level, which was approaching the United Fleet of pirates and Zuo Jing, darting towards the enemy faster than the Torrential Rain.

And upon reaching an appropriate distance, the fighters suddenly lit up with a dazzling red glow in the darkness of space.

The engines of the two Terminator Fighters overloaded to the extreme, allowing their top maneuverability to dodge and weave like agile butterflies and swifts, avoiding the fleet’s frontal point defense fire coverage.

When they got within a certain distance.

Swarms of anti-fighter missiles swarmed out from the two Mule Levels in the Pirate Fleet.

The infrared guidance devices on the missiles easily locked onto the now extremely bright Terminator Fighters in the naked eye.

However, in front of the Terminator Fighters, these swarm missiles meant nothing.

All the swarm missiles that could have hit directly were destroyed by the fighters’ own PD point-defense lasers, also overloaded to the extreme.

And all the swarm missiles that passed by the Terminator Fighters stood no chance of catching up to them.

In the blink of an eye, the two fighters had breached the swarm missiles’ blockade, almost sticking to the face of the Pirate Fleet.

The performance of the two small weapons was relatively poor, but under the overload amplifications, they could even cause ripples on the shields.

One of the fighters, like a red meteor, grazed a nearly right-angled arc outside the shield right before a frontal collision with the pirate mule’s shield,

circumvented the shield, and rammed into the flank of the ship.

The fighter, mere meters long, slammed into the 120-meter-long mule, yet erupted with crimson fire that the mule itself could hardly achieve.

The energy system that was overflowing with radiation energy in overload exploded in an intentional self-destruct situation, blowing the hull of the Mule Level from left to right.

Even the explosive aftermath rippled out, instantly shattering the shield of the Mule Level that failed to block it.

But that was already irrelevant.

Because at the moment the Mule Level’s hull was breached, fire had already surged through the ship.

The ship was suddenly engulfed in a sea of flames and turned to dust in a destructive explosion in a blink of an eye.

The other Terminator Fighter had similarly bypassed the Mule Level’s shield and charged directly into the fleet.

But instead of choosing to collide with the other Mule, it dashed out of the Pirate Fleet through a gap and into Zuo Jing’s fleet, maintaining a relatively close distance.

It accurately struck the two Drum Level fuel transport ships at the rear of Zuo Jing’s fleet.

Zuo Jing’s fleet maintained a relatively tight formation internally.

This formation at this moment became their death warrant.

The explosion of a single Drum Level could cause damage within hundreds of meters in diameter.

The range affected by the explosion of the Drum Level hit by the Terminator Fighter included one Mule and three frigates in Zuo Jing’s fleet.

And among them, one frigate happened to be another Drum Level.

The chain reaction of the explosion caused the other Drum Level to instantly follow in its companion’s footsteps.

And the two frigates and one Mule that happened to be inside the combined explosion range of the two Drum Levels also directly resulted in a sympathetic explosion.

Zuo Jing’s formation fell into chaos.

And Chen Ming, only at the cost of two fighters, had two Mule Levels, two Drums, and two other frigates destroyed.

Plus the other ships on the side affected by explosion debris.

This directly reduced the combat power of the Pirate and Zuo Jing Fleet by more than a quarter.

This outcome left only excitement in Chen Ming’s heart, continuing from the tension and thrill he felt earlier.

After all, these were the fighters he had bought for over 100 million, and if the effect was unsatisfactory, it would mean a major loss.

Fortunately, when Chen Ming saw the effect, he knew the 150 million was well spent.

However, the next moment, Chen Ming realized a problem.

His heart sank.

Suddenly feeling a bit of regret.

Because just in the blink of an eye, two Mule Levels were blown up, which could entirely equate to Chen Ming himself losing two billion.
