Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Aboriginal peopleThe little interlude with the Velociraptor quickly ended, and it didn’t alarm the herd.

Lin Feng turned his head to look at the Velociraptor’s position, then held his breath and pulled the trigger at the nearby herd.

After the gunshot, the herd was immediately startled and scattered in an instant.

Lin Feng quickly emptied a magazine of bullets.

The harvest was not bad; two wild oxen fell to the ground directly, and several others, though hit, managed to escape with the herd, relying on their strong vitality.

The Little Velociraptor, hiding in the grass, seized the opportunity and bit down on an injured wild ox. The wild ox let out a painful cry, wanting the herd to come back and save it, but the terrified herd paid no attention and ran far away in a flash.

After reloading his magazine, Lin Feng fired a few more shots, but with no success, so he gave up.

Anyway, three wild oxen were enough for him and the Velociraptor to eat for a while.

However, these three wild oxen were truly quite large; each probably weighed over a thousand jin, and it would be a bit of a stretch to put them in his cowhide backpack.

The cowhide backpack has a limit of 200 kilograms per slot, so it was definitely impossible to carry these oxen directly.

Therefore, Lin Feng decided to butcher these oxen and only pack the meat.

Before exiting the Elevator, Lin Feng had already cleared out two slots in his cowhide backpack.

He piled all the medicine and non-perishable food into a corner of the Elevator.

Now the Elevator had a lot of space, even if he took out everything from the cowhide backpack, it would fit.

Soon, Lin Feng gathered the bodies of the three oxen together.

With his knife rising and falling, the first wild ox was quickly gutted by him.

The Little Velociraptor just lay nearby, eating the internal organs and bones that Lin Feng threw out.

Lin Feng didn’t plan to pack things like internal organs; he mainly wanted to pack the meat.

Dismembering an ox was quite time-consuming.

Lin Feng glanced at the remaining time on the floor.

[1:20]

Over an hour. If it’s not enough, he’ll use a time extension card to extend his stay.

However, just as Lin Feng was concentrating on butchering the beef, shouts suddenly came from a distance.

Lin Feng looked up and saw several black men with painted upper bodies running towards him.

However, they didn’t have any decent weapons, only cold weapons.

It seemed they came with ill intentions.

Lin Feng immediately raised his gun and began shooting without hesitation.

The system had already stated that the natives on this floor were hostile to all outsiders.

So, they definitely weren’t coming to chat with him.

Bang bang bang bang bang!

Gunshots rang out, and several natives instantly fell to the ground, shot.

The remaining dozen or so natives, hearing the gunshots, immediately prostrated themselves on the ground.

They shouted in a language Lin Feng didn’t understand.

At the same time, they threw their weapons away.

”They surrendered just like that?”

Lin Feng scratched his head in confusion.

If he knew what era he was in now, he probably wouldn’t be so confused.

Looking at the wild ox carcasses in front of him, Lin Feng had a sudden idea: why not let these natives handle it for him? Their speed would definitely be faster than his.

Then, Lin Feng fired a few shots into the air and waved at the natives who had surrendered.

Those natives also obediently ran over, their eyes completely devoid of the fierce look they had just moments ago.

”Come here and process these wild oxen.”

Lin Feng said, pointing at the wild ox carcasses and the beef he had already processed nearby.

With such simple instructions, these natives immediately knew what to do, and quickly moved the remaining two wild oxen and cut out all the meat.

Lin Feng stood by, guarding them with his gun.

The work efficiency was much faster now.

Lin Feng nodded in satisfaction.

In less than half an hour, all the beef was portioned.

After stuffing all the beef into the cowhide backpack, Lin Feng also took the ribs and internal organs that could be carried. These could be roasted and eaten directly when he returned; the low temperature in the Elevator meant they wouldn’t spoil for three or four days.

Seeing that those natives were still following him, Lin Feng was a bit confused. Had they taken him as their master?

What kind of bizarre tribe was this?

Lin Feng felt very speechless internally, then waved his hand at those natives.

”All of you, get back!”

”Awoo!!”

The Little Velociraptor also bared its teeth at those natives.

Then it followed Lin Feng back into the Elevator.

The natives standing in place, seeing Lin Feng disappear from where he stood, were so frightened that they instantly knelt on the ground.

After Lin Feng left, a group of richly dressed nobles rode over on warhorses; they too had been attracted by the gunshots just now.

Looking at the row of natives kneeling on the ground, the leading officer laughed heartily. He hadn’t expected such an unexpected gain. With a wave of his hand, several Soldier stepped forward and tied up these natives.

Inside the Elevator.

Lin Feng hung all the ribs by the fireplace opening, preparing to dry the meat, which would make it easier to store.

Of course, he didn’t forget the Little Velociraptor’s share.

He gave the Little Velociraptor two whole ribs and two ox hearts; these were probably enough for it to eat.

Lin Feng still had to process the remaining meat and internal organs.

Lin Feng planned to roast all these things and then store them to eat slowly.

Doing all this took Lin Feng an entire afternoon.

”Finally, it’s all done.”

Lin Feng stretched and lay on the bed. Just as he was about to sleep, he suddenly remembered the supplies he had listed on the Exchange. He should go check how the earnings were.

He’d list another batch before going to sleep.

After reaching the screen, Lin Feng opened the Exchange. Many people were buying, but unfortunately, it was all exchanged for basic materials.

Wood and iron, and very few other materials.

Lin Feng directly canceled the Exchange using wood. His current wood supply was sufficient; the wood from the forest floor last time hadn’t been used up yet, and he had acquired another two hundred kilograms through trade.

As for other materials, he obtained one hundred kilograms of iron, one gold coin, ten kilograms of gold, and no copper or aluminum at all.

This might also be because the items Lin Feng sold did not include medicine.

If he listed some medicines and specified that they could only be purchased with gold coins, it’s estimated that someone would instantly buy them.

After relisting some food and water he had collected from other people’s Elevators, Lin Feng went to sleep.

”Oh, right, this ring...”

Lin Feng lay on the bed and took the ring off his finger.

Adds luck?

He had casually said yesterday that it would be great if he could reach a floor with many animals, and it came true today.

Although he found his own thoughts a bit absurd, Lin Feng felt that nothing should be impossible in this world, right?

Besides, the system’s attribute panel clearly showed that these two rings added luck.
