Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Unlimited water resources“This is truly the first time I’ve felt so good working out.”

Lin Feng said, putting down the scrap metal he was using as a barbell.

With the help of the Body Strengthening Pill, Lin Feng’s body had become very strong after only a few days of training.

Although he couldn’t punch a bull to death, Lin Feng believed that if he continued to train like this, he would eventually become a One-Punch Man.

“Beep, the floor the host is about to enter is the Glacier Floor. You will enter a world of extreme cold. There is a mysterious treasure underwater. If you are not afraid of freezing into an icicle, you can go down and take a look. There are a few cute little animals on the floor. If you are very hungry, you can choose to eat them.”

“Beep, a choice mission has been triggered.”

“Option One: Enter the water and obtain the mysterious treasure. Reward: One omnipotent key, a key that can open all locks in the world (mission auxiliary item, warming diving suit, will automatically disappear after the mission is completed).”

“Option Two: Wait in the Elevator for the next floor. Reward: One crisp and sweet apple.”

“I must choose Option One!”

Lin Feng said, looking at the options that seemed like free points.

“Beep, selection successful. Mission auxiliary item has been issued.”

Then the Elevator broadcast sounded.

“Ding dong! The Elevator is descending, please hold on tight!”

........

After opening the door, Lin Feng changed into his warming diving suit and entered the floor.

“Hiss! It’s really cold.”

Although he was wearing the warming diving suit given by the system, the sub-zero temperature, dozens of degrees below zero, still made Lin Feng shiver uncontrollably.

“This godforsaken place, do animals really live here?”

Lin Feng walked further in and soon discovered a glacier.

The thick ice layer on the surface allowed Lin Feng to walk freely on it, but the problem was, how could he get down?

The treasure was at the bottom of the river, and he didn’t have any explosives, so there was no way to break through the ice layer of the glacier.

Just as Lin Feng was feeling annoyed about this, several snow-white deer ran out from the bushes.

They might have been deer, they looked very similar, the only difference was that they had very thick fur to keep warm.

However, these deer seemed to be startled by something.

Just as Lin Feng was in a daze, the ground suddenly began to shake.

“What the hell? An earthquake??”

Lin Feng was immediately shocked, and then quickly retreated into the Elevator. Fortunately, it was very safe inside the Elevator.

There was no threat of an earthquake.

“It seems this mission can’t be completed.”

Lin Feng sighed. Who knew when this earthquake would stop? Even if it stopped within an hour, he probably wouldn’t be able to complete the mission within the allotted time.

However, what Lin Feng never expected was that this earthquake seemed to be serving him. After only ten minutes, the vibration on the floor stopped.

And the frozen river was also cracked by the short but strong earthquake just now.

Clear river water reappeared in the riverbed.

After Lin Feng tried walking in and finally confirmed it was safe, he quickly ran to the riverbank to check.

This river was not deep, so Lin Feng saw the golden box at the bottom of the river at a glance.

“Damn it, I’ll risk it!”

Lin Feng took a deep breath. He was also a good swimmer (good at dog paddling).

And the water here was neither deep nor fast. For the treasure chest, he would risk it!

Plop!

A splash of water rose, and Lin Feng jumped straight in.

“Holy crap!!!”

As Lin Feng entered the water, goosebumps instantly rose on his skin. Although the water temperature might be slightly milder than on the surface, the feeling was completely different, and Lin Feng seriously suspected that the diving suit the system gave him was just for show!

What kind of warming diving suit was this? It wasn’t warm at all, and for some reason, Lin Feng’s legs were a bit stiff, but he couldn’t worry about that much now. He had to dive down quickly.

“Hold on, hold on.....”

Lin Feng muttered to himself as he descended, quickly opening the treasure chest upon reaching the bottom.

“Ding dong! Congratulations, you have successfully obtained infinite water resources, which have been placed in the Elevator. You can go and check them.”

The Elevator’s broadcast sounded. Lin Feng, who was at the bottom of the water, heard the sound and surfaced without another word.

He did want to take that golden treasure chest with him, but its weight was simply too much, even exceeding the limit of the cowhide backpack. For the sake of his safety, Lin Feng decided not to be greedy.

“Cough, cough, cough, cough, cough.......”

After struggling to climb ashore, Lin Feng coughed violently.

“Damn it, I’m going to die....”

Lin Feng shivered, trembling all over as he returned to the Elevator.

“Beep, congratulations to the host for completing the mission. Reward: one omnipotent key. The diving suit will be recovered in one minute. Please change your clothes as soon as possible.”

“Got it.”

Lin Feng looked at the omnipotent key. It was entirely golden, but surprisingly, it didn’t have the grooves or protrusions that other keys had.

However, Lin Feng still trusted the items given by the system. After putting the omnipotent key away, Lin Feng quickly changed back into his own clothes, and then looked at the infinite water resources he had obtained.

He saw a one-square-meter pool of water appear in the Elevator, with a display screen next to it.

“Infinite Water Resources: No matter how much water you use, it will refill the next day, and there might be small surprises!”

(Tip: Trading liquids requires containers.)

“Holy crap, this is amazing! It’s worth half my life that I put into it.”

Lin Feng said, shocked by the description. With this, he wouldn’t have to worry about water anymore, would he?

Looking at the depth of the pool, it was probably about 50 centimeters, which was completely enough for his use. Moreover, it would refresh and refill every day, so there was no need to worry about the water going bad.

However, before Lin Feng could be happy for long, he started sneezing one after another.

Then he felt like his head was killing him.

“Damn it, I’m not getting a fever, am I?”

Lin Feng pressed his temples, then took a large pancake from his backpack and started eating.

Surprisingly, even though the pancake was hard as a rock, it tasted good, it just really tested his chewing muscles.

After eating half a pancake with water, Lin Feng really lost his appetite.

He felt like he desperately needed to sleep now. At this moment, he was not only dizzy but also feeling cold.

He touched his forehead, it was burning hot.

He really did have a fever.

Lin Feng sighed in his heart. He actually got a high fever under these conditions. Without medicine, although he wouldn’t see the King of Hell, it would affect his progress in exploring the floors.

Wait! Medicine?

Lin Feng suddenly remembered that he had obtained a shot of antibiotic on the zombie floor. (It was written earlier that this antibiotic was special and could cure most common illnesses.)

That stuff should be useful!

Lin Feng quickly found the disposable antibiotic injection and, without a word, jabbed it into his arm.

“Hiss.... I hope I’ll be better tomorrow.”

After throwing away the syringe, Lin Feng directly fainted onto the bed.
