Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Special Floor”Ding dong! The Elevator is ascending. Please hold on tight.”

Buzz....

Perhaps it was because the Elevator had reached Level 4, but Lin Feng felt no discomfort at all when it moved this time.

Or rather, he had already gotten used to it.

After pressing to open the door, Lin Feng looked at the world covered in yellow sand and slowly walked in.

First, he completed the task assigned by the system, burying two bottles of water in the yellow sand.

”Ding, task completed, reward issued. Please check, Host.”

After the system task was completed, Lin Feng took out the two sheep again.

The Little Velociraptor, who had followed him out, was clearly visiting the desert for the first time.

It looked around, ran everywhere, and in no time, buried itself.

”Awoo!!”

”Awoo!”

Lin Feng: ..........

”Stay put, don’t run around. I’m busy here.”

After pulling the Little Velociraptor out of the sand pile, Lin Feng continued to process the goats.

To be honest, it was his first time dissecting a carcass, and he really didn’t know where to start, but fortunately, he had seen pigs being slaughtered before.

The first step was to drain the blood.

Although sheep’s blood was edible, he didn’t have a large enough container to hold it now, so he just let it drain directly.

After cutting the neck with one stroke, blood immediately gushed out, and within a few minutes, the sheep’s blood slowly drained dry.

Next was to open the belly and remove the internal organs. Lin Feng directly threw the messy intestines and stomach to the Velociraptor. Fortunately, this guy wasn’t picky. Although it had an indescribable smell, it still ate with relish.

After eating, it looked at Lin Feng expectantly.

Soon, Lin Feng found several fist-sized pieces of sheep fat near the sheep’s internal organs. Besides this, there were also organs like the heart, liver, and lungs. These things could be eaten after a simple wash, so Lin Feng didn’t throw all of them to the Little Velociraptor.

After obtaining the sheep fat, Lin Feng further butchered the entire sheep, finally finishing the task.

With the experience from the first sheep, Lin Feng processed the second sheep much faster, and finally, he had all of them cut and packed into the cowhide backpack with 5 minutes left before the door closed.

Back in the Elevator, Lin Feng let out a sigh of relief.

”Now I can finally render oil.”

Lin Feng quickly poured some water into the induction cooker and then added the chopped sheep fat.

Since there were no spices like Sichuan peppercorns or star anise, the rendered sheep fat would definitely have a stronger smell, but he couldn’t worry about that much now.

Half an hour later, the pot began to boil with a gurgling sound.

Now, he just needed to boil off the water.

Lin Feng didn’t know if his method was correct; he had just learned it from watching videos before.

His requirements for this stuff weren’t high; as long as it was edible, that was enough.

Soon, a fragrant smell mixed with a slight burnt odor permeated the air. Fortunately, there were vents in the Elevator. If this were still a Level 1 Elevator, Lin Feng estimated he would already be coughing.

After holding on for more than ten minutes, Lin Feng felt he couldn’t boil it any longer...

”Strange, the steps are all correct, so why does it feel like it’s about to burn?”

Lin Feng said with a puzzled expression, completely unaware that he had set the gear to the highest setting.

”Ding, dear Host, you can try turning the heat to the lowest setting.”

”Uh...”

Lin Feng glanced at the pointer, which was at maximum heat, feeling a bit awkward. Then he turned down the heat and continued to render the oil.

Finally, after more than an hour, a large bowl of fresh sheep oil was ready.

Pouring the sheep oil into a pre-cleaned canning jar, the job was done.

Now he could finally cook a proper meal.

Soon, a bowl of all-natural fried lamb was out of the pot. Although it was entirely the taste of the ingredients themselves, Lin Feng still found it much better than canned food.

He ate it all in no time, and besides the lamb, Lin Feng also ate the last piece of bread.

After using the toilet, Lin Feng finally started exercising.

This broken toilet had no water and needed to be flushed manually. Moreover, once the wooden bucket underneath was full, he had to clean it himself. To be honest, Lin Feng found it quite frustrating.

Although no strange odors would escape, every time Lin Feng ate, thinking that there was a bucket of ’excrement’ next to him, he felt a wave of nausea.

He also wondered when this Elevator would have a separate toilet cubicle, or when it grew larger, he could build one himself.

At 6 PM, after rehydrating, Lin Feng lay down on the bed on time to rest, preparing for the new floor at 12 AM.

..................

”Ding, Host is about to enter the Challenge Floor. The Host will play the role of a robber, robbing a bank with other accomplices and escaping the bank alive. Please prepare, Host. Any items on this floor can be taken away.”

”Ding, random task triggered. Please, Host, kill 5 enemies with headshots. Reward: Basic Firearms Proficiency.”

Lin Feng, who was in his sleep, suddenly woke up.

”What the hell?”

Robbing a bank?

Lin Feng carefully pondered the information revealed by the system: any items on this floor could be taken away. Money in the bank would certainly be useless to him, but besides money, there was also a small amount of gold in the bank.

He could definitely take the gold, and upgrading the Elevator also required gold.

Just now, he was wondering where to get gold, and now the problem was directly solved.

”Ding dong! The Elevator is descending. Please hold on tight.”

Soon it was twelve o’clock.

The Elevator also started to operate as usual.

This time, the Elevator door opened automatically, and in front of Lin Feng was a static road. As soon as he walked in, the cars on the road began to move.

”Hey! Put on your mask quickly. I don’t want to be wanted by those FIB guys because of you.”

Just as Lin Feng was in a daze, a man in a gray suit put a black robber’s mask on Lin Feng’s head.

”Okay, let’s go over the plan. Old Cui and Lin will blow open the vault door. Little Fu and I will control the hostages. After the alarm sounds, the hacker should be able to buy us three minutes. Adding in the police’s speed, we should have 10 minutes to plunder the vault.”

”Relax, this is just a small town bank; it’ll be easy to rob. Okay, guys, let’s get out.”

Click!

The man in the suit who was speaking pulled the gun’s slide, then directly got out of the car.

There were a total of 4 people in the car. It was obvious that the man in the suit was the leader. After the 4 people got out of the car, they slowly walked into the bank. When they got close to the counter, they directly showed their weapons.

”Bang!”

”Let me see your hands!”

At this moment, a security guard walked over with a gun, but before he could speak, he was shot in the head by the man in the suit.

”Proceed as planned.”
