Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

The importance of gold coins”I say, you stinky bitch, don’t you understand the rules here? You can’t steal customers, got it?”

The vendor, seeing the woman’s medieval attire, spoke with disdain. Here, the more backward a person’s era, the lower their status, because they usually demand others buy their things when trading.

”I’m sorry, I’m sorry, but I really need this weapon.”

”Heh, little brother, I advise you to think carefully. Be careful not to get scammed by this stinky bitch.”

The vendor didn’t know where he pulled out a small fan and began fanning himself with his legs crossed. There was no way he would buy the gun on Lin Feng’s back for five gold coins. In his opinion, this gun was only worth four gold coins.

After all, the world he was in could also produce firearms; it was just that he hadn’t seen the shotgun on Lin Feng’s back before.

If he had known that this gun could only be used at close range, he probably wouldn’t have even offered two gold coins.

”But I know whose offer is higher.”

Lin Feng looked at the vendor, then decided to trade with the woman.

He had two shotguns, so trading one was no big deal, but he couldn’t accept the price of two gold coins. Five gold coins was more reasonable.

Seeing that Lin Feng was willing to trade with her, the woman was very happy. She took out five gold coins and bought Lin Feng’s shotgun.

As for the bullets, Lin Feng was only willing to sell five rounds, as he didn’t have many himself, and the price was one gold coin.

”Sir, I don’t have any gold coins left. Can I use leather, food, or other items to cover the remaining one gold coin?”

”Hmm, that works. Show me your food.”

”Okay!”

Seeing that Lin Feng was willing to accept food as payment, the smile on the woman’s face grew even brighter.

She then took out the food she carried from her cowhide backpack.

There were many cakes, Lin Feng didn’t know what kind, but they looked very hard.

This kind of stuff, probably no one except Seekers like them would accept, right?

”Give me five big cakes.”

Lin Feng looked at them. He had to admit, these cakes were really big, about two centimeters thick, and each one was as big as two of Lin Feng’s heads.

Five cakes seemed like a lot to Lin Feng, even a bit too much.

He didn’t expect the woman to agree immediately.

Damn! I was careless! I should have asked for more!

After completing the transaction, Lin Feng put the items into his cowhide backpack and continued to browse the Trading Floor.

Most transactions here were conducted with gold coins; bartering was rare.

Lin Feng didn’t buy anything after browsing. He had too few gold coins right now, and upgrading the Elevator was more important. Besides, since he could come to this Trading Floor once, it meant he would come again in the future.

Lin Feng had also thought about selling some things here, but no one needed what he sold, as he could only offer wood or iron.

He also needed food, antibiotics, and nutrient solutions, so he couldn’t sell them.

Lin Feng kept antibiotics because he was afraid of getting sick someday; with antibiotics, he could survive.

Just as Lin Feng was about to leave, he suddenly saw a pistol identical to his own displayed on a table.

Thinking that his own pistol was out of bullets, he figured he could find the bullets he needed here.

The owner of this stall was wearing a black combat uniform, and the scar on his face made people somewhat hesitant to approach him.

”Hello, boss.”

”Hello, what do you need?”

The boss put down the grenade he was fiddling with and asked.

”Do you have bullets for this gun?”

”Yes, one gold coin for twenty rounds.”

Lin Feng heard this and took out two gold coins.

The boss looked at Lin Feng, then took the two gold coins, and then gave Lin Feng two boxes, each paper box containing twenty rounds of ammunition.

After putting away the bullets, Lin Feng was about to leave.

”Kid, remember to bargain when buying things here.”

The boss returned one gold coin to Lin Feng and said.

”Thanks for the reminder.”

Lin Feng quickly thanked him, and at the same time, he felt that the bullets he had just sold seemed a bit overpriced. Ten bullets for one gold coin, and here he actually bought forty rounds for one gold coin!

After thanking the boss who reminded him, Lin Feng left.

At this moment, there was still one hour left until the Elevator closed.

In the sight of others, Lin Feng simply disappeared into thin air, but no one was surprised, as everyone here disappeared into thin air when they left.

”Whew, this floor is really awesome.”

Lin Feng said with burning eyes, and at the same time, he became more aware of the importance of gold coins. If he had enough gold coins, he could even directly buy and wear a full set of Exoskeleton Armor.

However, for his current self, it was definitely unaffordable.

At this time, Lin Feng opened the chat room, wanting to see if anyone else had discovered this Trading Floor.

However, no one mentioned the Trading Floor.

Most people were still chatting in the chat room, or trading items, and sharing experiences.

As more and more empty Elevators were discovered, the trust between Seekers also decreased, and only in the virtual space of the chat room could they communicate normally.

If they met in reality, they would probably draw their swords after a few words.

Just then, a red dot appeared on Ye Hua’s avatar.

Could it be that the crossbow bolts he wanted were ready?

Ye Hua: [Hello, I have currently made five arrows. How about you try them?]

Lin Feng: [Okay, then I’ll just put something on the Exchange, and you can Exchange it for crossbow bolts.]

Ye Hua: [Okay.]

Lin Feng then took a small piece of wood and hung it on the Exchange, and soon he obtained five crossbow bolts.

He had to admit, the other party’s craftsmanship was indeed good.

These crossbow bolts were made almost identically to those given by the system, except that the arrowheads were also made of wood.

They should be no problem for killing unprotected people.

Lin Feng loaded a crossbow bolt and tried it out, finding that the accuracy was quite good, so he asked Ye Hua to make another thirty, and then sent over wood and food.

The food was still raw dinosaur meat, and the payment was one kilogram of raw meat.

Lin Feng still had a full seventy kilograms of raw meat stored in his cowhide backpack.

He was not at all short of this stuff.

After exercising for a while, Lin Feng realized it was already seven in the morning, so he simply didn’t sleep. After eating something, Lin Feng continued to exercise.

He had to say, the Body Strengthening Pill given by the system was really effective.

It instantly gave him, someone who hadn’t exercised in a long time, the body of someone who had been working out for over a decade.

Although it wasn’t like the pills in novels that instantly turn you into a superman, Lin Feng was already very content.
